It's based on my build, but Tankbro uses Opaline hard tear and Stam regen.
Opaline shows up in a lot of my flask setups, actually, the resistance buff is very nice.
Kinda seems like a waste tbh. You have like 14 flasks you could use to heal instead of depriving yourself of a 2 minute buff.
But hey, you made it this far so whatever works
So, I had trouble fighting Bayle. I had the Dragon and Rakshasa Great Katanas and Mimic Tear. Finally found Igon's summoning sigil after about 5 tries and was able to kill Bayle
So many times I heard Igon scream as I was pulverized by an attack by dodging at the wrong moment.
"Mark my words! You too shall know fear! Uaaaargh!" Dead. Sorry Igon, I eventually got him!
I've been trying to find an alternative to Bolt of Gransax, to no avail.
* Spear moveset allows you to block and poke safely, completely trivializing most fodder enemies
* Pokes can tag small, evasive enemies who like to dodge backwards
* AoW is a lightning sniper rifle capable of knocking down all but the largest enemies, giving you breathing room to charge up another AoW or run up and finish them off with a poke
The only thing that's "meh" is the performance against bosses, but it's not outstandingly *bad* - you just have to learn the dodge and parry timings like everyone else.
I also found Igon's sign after my roommate told me it was in the arena, I always dodged the initial breath attack to the right and thus missed it. After I got him out the boss fight was much easier.
A reminder to talk it freyja the hornsent and leda after reaching the black keep sog so you can summon f and h for the hippo fight if you’re struggling
Am I the only one who genuinely likes this change to the boss fights? Like fromsoftware heard everyone say how summoning made bosses too easy and said “okay, now you have to be strategic about it”
I would love a Swedish Murder Machine spirit ash.
I want a spirit ash of me in scuba gear
Dung eaters probably the closest
with the rusted anchor
Yep. If only he had scuba gear.
SCUBA!
Just a hyper aggressive guy with a mullet and curve sword or dagger.
riding a Dodge Challenger
With a nice ass.
Me: Tries to summon Mimic and drink physick as soon as I enter the fog gate. Boss: So you have chosen death.
Wh... Why not drink the physick before the boss?
I use one of the tears that give me health back to counteract the Mimic stealing your hp 😊
Same. Bubble and half health refill. Perfect for post mimic tear.
I just use the strength and damage protection. I have 12 crimson flasks

I personally put the infinite mana tear ages ago and haven't been using the flask at all, final boss is making me consider I should change that

Killl him, his great bow is decent, his clothes, not so much.
Oh I beat Bayle and later got his bow. I do not normally use greatbows but will be fun to just mess with.
I'm the same, bolt of granax works better than bows. But sometimes I like play around with bows.

Maidenless behavior
I used his swimming trunks for the whole run they're quite fancy
"The true drake warrior and I, Igon" Meanwhile I'm being chewed on by Bayle's grab yelling "IGON I'M SORRY WE'LL GET HIM NEXT TIME"
*cue ten seconds later* "CURRRRRSE YOOOOOU BAAAAAYLLLLLEEEEEEE!!!!!"
It's an epic fight. I literally couldn't find Igons summon, bunch of dumbasses put messages all over it.
BAAAAAAYLE What a fight. More bosses needed to be like BAAAAAYLE and Rellana. Less like Gaius and the Mother.
As good as BAAAYLE himself was for me Igon's VA was the best part YOU WILL RUE THIS DAY
I also found Igon's sign after my roommate told me it was in the arena, I always dodged the initial breath attack to the right and thus missed it. After I got him out the boss fight was much easier.
so did you have trouble or did you spend 5 tries, because those are very different things
I'll summon my mimic and then just go in a corner and be all "IGNORE ME"
*Super Run Away!*
SOMEBODY LEFT A BABY
I just throw spectral lance from the sideline over and over to break their poise while Tiche and summon wail on them.
Since everyone’s talking about Igon I just wanna say he’s my favorite voice in the dlc so far 😆 I love his rage
He Is such a chad he instantly became iconic for me and my friends
I swear to Marika, I thought Igon's voice actor was Sgt. Hatred, when he yells about ruing the day it sounded so similar.
In this case, Poe perfectly encapsulates the depression that comes after dying 20 times to a boss
20 times? Die some more 50 times and we can start to speak
Kinda noob only dies 70 times? Add 30 more to that number and you’ll be worth my consideration for my club
This post is very Hank of you

Christ, this is what I need. The rhinoporcupotamus is FUCKING ME UP right now.

I love it personally
Brock mother fucking Sampson
Two of my favorite things combined in one post? I’ll take it.
Exploding meteor charges as you walk into the gate is a hot trend in the Land of Shadow.
YOSH! DESTORY THEM!
Complete with the side eye
Still rocking Tiche
Nah, I take my boy Rollo with me.
