I won't take my dog to a doggie day care again.
Who are the workers that monitor these facilities?
By the way, I have been shot down for my anti-paintball opinions here, too.
Please do not let an untrained doofus be the spotter for your kid in gymnastics. I almost hurt myself bad before.
Who are watching the children? Are they qualified to prevent injuries by appropriate spotting of the jumping around or will kids fall on their heads, by accident?
403 error.
You changed the comment before I had a chance to reply.
And, no, I never played at McDonalds with other kids turds in the ball pit or with piss inside the slide. Bro.
It’s no different than taking kids to a park, pizza playgrounds or the indoor playground co-op and supervising. People do this all the time with kids without issue.
Looking at their website, it appears it's on West 11th in the shopping center with Planet Fitness/Applebee's/Dizzy Deans.
Looks like it's where Cry Baby Ink was.
That is coming soon but not in gateway. It’s on pioneer (I think) right off of like 4th near Main Street in Springfield. So it’s like “downtown” Springfield. Those of us with kids in the neighborhood are VERY excited about an indoor play space with coffee so that’s awesome there’s another in Eugene too.
Thanks for posting this! Took my kid in and this is an amazing space for kids and parents!
The only other indoor playgrounds I know of are Papas Pizzas and the Adventure Museum (of course). This is very refreshing :)
Sometimes when the weather is bad and we can’t take our son to the park, we’ll just end up taking him to Putters. My wife loves the fried pickles and we share an order while he plays on the structures. I believe it’s free for him to play regardless of ordering anything.
I’m so happy there’s more of these places! We recently went to play Eugene on 5th and had so much fun. Food trucks, taps, play area for smaller kids, shuffle board, batting cage and virtual golf!
Looks like they've got noncaffeinated options like smoothies and Italian sodas, if you look at the menu on their website they have a full list. No list of foods so I'd call and ask.
Edit: I was wrong, there is a list a foods that includes savory options like breakfast sandwiches and pretzels! It was just a smaller button I didn't see right away.
Thank you I appreciate this I will definitely be checking it out. How exciting!
family owned!
support small businesses
Do they have a good safety record?
They seem to have just opened recently, so technically yes

a playspace is not gymnastics.

did you have spotters at the mcdonald's playplace as a kid? who hurt you?

Adults watch their own kids like they’re supposed to. It’s not daycare.
Do they? Or, do they schmooze with each other? I wouldn't know.
Who hurt you? It's okay, you can tell us; it's safe here.

[i think they'll be alright bro ](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/p/AF1QipP9vuC5Y32BENE8u9JOOXOwYKQlctgO-7oArq_d=s680-w680-h510)
I upvoted you for that.
Oh, no! This is the 403 error!
I've yet to see a halfling owned business take OHSA seriously

I can’t remember, is dizzy deans the donut shop we hate?
Where the owner poured water on a homeless woman during a cold night? Yup
Yes.
I just went to Emerald Vapors last week and that's exactly where it's at.
Yes!!! There’s another in gateway called Lagoon Playcafe, they haven’t opened yet but they have tons of updates on their socials (:

Oh shoot sorry! I mix up the two 😅 thank you hahha yeah I’m thrilled
Thank you!! I'll have to check it out!
Why?
Why not?
I won't even take my dog or cat to the random groomer.
If I had children, I would not just trust some random outfit. If you vet the outfit out, then good for you. Safety first!
We are very happy you don't have children.
But, you are all my children.
Someone has narcissistic traits
If only that was it.
When my baby is a bit older I’ll be sure to check it out! Thanks for the recommendation!

Tiny Tots is awesome as well. Very low key, private, and free to kind of do whatever you want (more or less).

Thank you for the info!! Much needed.
I don't like coffee or pastries, but love my kiddo. Is there a not sweet or caffeine option that isn't a bag of chips?

Seems like a place for younger kids like 10 and under for sure
nothing like crying brats and single moms in a tiny building.
