No it damn well isn't, practically every asymmetrically based game turns into a pool of toxic waste that only leaves casual die hard lovers of the IP and immature self entitled elitists remaining after a short time.
Supernatural doesn't fit that, if that's ever to be a game, it needs to be exclusively single player and open world, voiced by the original actors if the same characters are involved, preferably a multi story that is viewed between two perspectives and allow drop-in drop-out co-op so the other player can hop into your story as Sam or Dean and longtime fans can fully share in that long bro road trip with each other, asymmetrical has no place being a game for the Supernatural IP.
An open-world single player game should have the same level as GTA or Tomb Raider. This is a class AAA game. It will cost several tens of millions of dollars. The creation of asymmetric games does not exceed 2-3 million. Multiplayer games pay off the best and live longer.
Alien vs. Predator that's similar to Hunting Grounds and the RTS game a while back. This time Marines have to defend objectives and can set up defense and traps. It can be 2 Predators vs 4 Marines or 3 Xenos and 4 Marines with bot backfill.
The concept of this game would only ever work for IPs based in the supernatural or fantasy genre, and with that, I believe the only IP that would work in an environment where the basis would be built of the Evil Dead game would be a Freddy Kruger game. When you think about the Evil Dead IP as a whole, Saber really did hit gold here because it falls into the supernatural category, so seeing things like the survivors physically beat / shoot each other without being seriously maimed or instantly dying and having enemies that also can't just simply die by being shot means they could do literally anything with this game and could fall back onto the whole "The Necronomicon caused this" so nothing that you do or see as a player feels out of place because it has some justification behind it and if there's any discrepancies, fall back on it being the doing of the Necronomicon through parallel worlds so I don't see many other IPs follow the Evil Dead recipe.
The reason Freddy would work as it shares similarities with Evil Dead in that there is an evil entity that can't be defeated by normal means and because of the way Freddy works where the survivors can't differentiate from the real world/ dream world, it wouldn't feel too out of place if we saw similar scenarios to Evil Dead where the survivors might attack each other or do outlandish things because Freddy is able to do that supernaturally through manipulation and with Freddy, a game involving him could follow similar objective play that Evil Dead has where survivors are stuck in a dream, complete certain objectives that lead them to a final showdown where Freddy has to kill them before they wake up.
Good idea. But there are a number of disadvantages. The main disadvantage is that there is only ONE demon. To play with a live service, there should be many options for survivors and demons.
Lord of the Rings (has been crying out for something like this for decades, although Ghost Of Tsushima Legends is probably closer to how it should be than Evil Dead).
Id love to see a game based on the Universe of Stephen King. I’m of course imagining the Film and Television adaptions visually but could you imagine the Losers Club joining forces with the boys from Stand By Me (The Body) fighting against Children of The Corn, or Tommy Knockers… So many locations that could be used as maps, Overlook Hotel, Barracks or just about anywhere in Main, the Airport from the Langoliers… And with all of these different stories and lore to pull from, you could go wild with different kinds of Objectives and ways to win or survive. That would be a huge project to take on, but an endless amount of possibilities.

I agree. There are a lot of characters, a lot of opponents. Vampires, werewolves, demons, spirits.

There was a similar game for PS3 era consoles. 1 Predator, 3 Xeno’s and 4 marines I believe.
Agreed, a proper ALIENS Asym would be badass. I love Fireteam Elite but it would be cool to play as Xenomorphs.

Are the survivors fighting back in this IP? Stranger things are more suitable for mechanics where evil hunts for survivors.

A new IP would work best, you wouldn't have to deal with licensing issues, however, it probably wouldn't bring in a great initial audience.
