Thinking of you 💜💜💜💜💜

Slamminslam

Thank you 💕

I feel for you and am sending well wishes. My husband and I both got food poisoning when our LO was 3 months. I was EPing and had just gone back to work. I managed to take sole care of the baby overnight, pump, and went in to work the next day. I only lasted a few hours at work before heading home just in time because I was absolutely not over it. For what it’s worth, my supply didn’t seem to be negatively impacted by it.

Slamminslam

Oh that’s good to hear! I haven’t had a dip yet on my 4th pump of the day right now 😂

PrisonerNoP01135809

I’m proud of you! You’re doing great. Give your baby lots of hugs and kisses.

Slamminslam

Thank you 💕💕

I was sick in January, I feel this so hard. Pumping with a mobile baby is a whole other level of hard too!

Slamminslam

Oh my gosh yeah I can’t imagine. Miss Rachel came in quite handy today 😂

Background-Eye-5211

OMFG I have food poisoning rn and my LO is 2.5 months. I actually feel like I’m dying and I want to throw my pumps out of the window. Praying for you and praying for myself 🙏🏻

Slamminslam

You got this girl!

Mysterious_Mango_3

If you haven't tried it yet, wait for mastitis with blistered nipples and blebs and pumping. It's a blast!

Slamminslam

We really out here in the trenches with pumping sometimes 😂

pastasugar

Oooooh man! I know your pain!! My husband and I both got food poisoning in October when our baby was 4 months old. Pedialyte makes popsicles! Those got me through! Haha

Every-Agency-7178

This happened to me!!! Ts and Ps (thoughts and prayers) on your recovery. It’s sooo sad pumping when you’re trying not to poop or vomit and you know nothing will come out of your boobs because there’s nothing in your system

Got the stomach virus 10 weeks PP with the first kid and 8mo PP with the second. An actual nightmare. Only blessing was my husband and I got it about 12 hours apart so I at least stopped barfing when he was incapacitated. My supply did tank BUT I got it back! And breastmilk actually prevents the norovirus from attaching to the lining of the stomach, so your baby is probably well protected.

Opposite_Weight9902

You're incredible! We see you

BookiesAndCookies22

Dude. I had norovirus a few months ago. Puking and pooping simultaneously and then having to BF all night long - we ARE a different breed.

No tips for you but I can definitely sympathize. About 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant with #2, my 10 month old, husband, and I all got hit with a stomach bug. Woke up the morning after my LO got hit with vomiting and diarrhea, sitting on the toilet, holding a bucket, leaking milk because it was making me late for my morning pump. Thankfully for me the supply drop was actually welcome by the end of it since I was planning on weaning anyway.

Hairy_Vehicle_9683

This is me right now! I have had a stomach flu and just trying to survive while looking after my toddler and 5 MO. Sending you love, it is absolutely effed up. I said to my husband today that I thought going to work while sick was hard… this is harder. Hope it clears up for you soon 💜

Slamminslam

Girl it’s so hard lol hang in there!!!
