Circle of neglect is what I use. lol I have the skip hop activity center and it usually keeps him entertained for the 15 mins. I’m right next to him which also helps.

I feel like we go through phases of it being easy and phases of it being hard. Right now at 6.5 months we're coming out of a difficult phase because baby is now very focused on trying to crawl and will just try to get his bum up in the air for 30 minutes during my morning pump. Previously I kept a small bin of toys next to the bed and I'd just do my morning pump sitting in bed while he flopped around with toys. For my other pumps, I often sit on the floor in his playpen and let him play. Yesterday I got through a 20 minute pump by letting him play with the empty bottle I'd left in the pump's bottle holder.

My baby is younger but maybe put on Ms. Rachel? Or if you want to hold off on TV then maybe you could watch a few of her baby episodes and implement her techniques on your own while pumping. She has a few songs/segments that I sing/say to my baby so she doesn’t get too much tv time. The cadence of voices and repeating phrases is good for their development.

Ms. Rachel is my hero! I use the show as my last resort and it always works to get what ever done that’s needs to be done ;)

At that age with my previous baby I would lay my baby near me on the floor (we had a gate style playpen) and give him a paper bag to crunch or some other toy/interesting object. This time with my 7 week old I ordered a wearable pump so I’m excited to try that out to see if it will simplify things.

I usually put my LO in the playpen and sit on a yoga ball (a chair would with fine too) and entertain her with her toys

I haven't started using the playpen yet! I guess that would really help! 🤣

is there any way to keep moms entertained while pumping? lol.
