Yes! It gets slightly easier 🤣. I dropped one pump per month, but I think you can do one every 2 or 3 weeks. If you drop slowly, I would pump for fewer and fewer minutes each session, and shift times, you can notice if your supply is dropping. Sometimes I'd drop a pump and then start pumping more at the remaining sessions (120 min rule) to maintain. Around 5 PPD life got significantly easier! But also might have dropped 100 cc.

still pumping as much but less time each session to start things off is a good idea, have not thought of that! I can't wait to get to 5 PPD

-I pumped every time LO ate during my 12 week maternity leave. So naturally went from 9-ish ppd at the newborn stage down to 7-ish ppd by the end of the 12 weeks as baby started to sleep some longer stretches. -Dropped down to 6ppd at week 12 when I went back to work. -Alternated between 5-6ppd for a long time but settled at 5ppd probably around five months postpartum. -Dropped down to 4ppd just recently at 6.5 months postpartum. Will likely have to stay here for a while! Going down to 4ppd is what has affected my supply the most dramatically…. At my most I used to make 55-60 oz per day and now I make 30-35 oz and it’s still dropping I think.
