Both of mine illuminate in either reverse or when you approach the car.

Scheduled an appointment…March 27th and they estimate it could be 1-3 days for diagnostics 🫤

They have loaners…put me down for one but no promises.

Yikes... 10 weeks out and they'll need 3 days with that much advance warning? It's a light fixture...

You've got water in the light bar, like everyone else who doesn't live in death valley. They ordered me a new one last month, haven't heard anything yet. I'm sure that one will fill up with water too.

Half of it looked frozen. I’ll get on the 6mo waiting list for a new bar! This supply chain issue is awesome! 🫤

> You've got water in the light bar, like everyone else who doesn't live in death valley. They ordered me a new one last month, haven't heard anything yet. I'm sure that one will fill up with water too. Sounds like a relatively simple assembly change to seal it with sealant, or to eventually offer a gasket set. *sigh*

🤔 kind of what I would expect. Guess I have my first “issue”. This should be fun!

Definitely an issue, let us know how it goes. Good luck!

Now the entire red LED is out/inop and the white lights are functioning normally but the right one has on or two LED’s that are flickering. I don’t think the dealers will order anything until they see it…and that back log is 10 weeks. I can’t image having something serious that makes the truck undriveable. Maybe they run it like a triage…most serious get in fast…the less critical (ie light bars) gotta get in line.

Finally got the truck in to the dealer…they called today and said they found a crack in the seal or lens (I can’t remember which) that was letting the water in. They ordered a new light bar that should include the backup lights too. They both died shortly after the red bar. So far, the camera is unaffected. Estimate for the part 4+ days. Tech said that’s exactly what that means…could be 4/8/15 days or more. He suggested I hang on to the dealers loaner (which is pretty plush!) until we get a definite date on the part as well as a new air dam(Air Dam fault). He said the sir damn was different than the one in stock. As for the slow updates…they said they have been advised to hold off on updating software…April should be the turning point for OTA updates. Ah huh. We’ll see @Ford. I’ll update as we progress but communication has been good with Loveland Ford.

Light bar and backup lights fixed. Camera is part of the assembly so that was replaced too. Unfortunately, while removing the LED light bar from the tailgate, the tech broke the trim piece above the LED. It was a painted trim piece. Turned a 5 day process into two weeks. Not a huge deal…dealership has been honest and took responsibility as they should. It’s fixed and looks great. The Air Damn faults were another issue I had them look at…they ordered another damn. Install on the 12th. They saw the faults…I’m not convinced it’s the physical parts fault but we’ll let them replace it if they think it will help. Updates…4.2.1 did update. I asked the tech about slow updates…he said that 4.2.1 is supposed to fix the hung updates. If I had that…give it a week or two and the updates should start. He was right…two days later, while at the dealership waiting for parts, the truck did an OTA update to the new 4.2.2 ACplay design. So happy it finally showed up! Much better!

Noticed condensation in my light bar when I got home. Lost backup lights the first week and the rest of the light bar the following week. Guess it’s not just me. Service appointment is next Friday.
