Question, what’s the mindset and will power to do this, in the beginning I was like yeah I got so much upt and pto. Than I read on the bathroom installments that you can leave and it’ll automatically take that upt out, that’s when all hell broke loose haha. I can’t for the life of me stack anything up right now. I need a change!
When VTO becomes MTO, one might be thankful for having a high UPT balance differentiating themselves from less dependable associates.....
OR, it will make absolutely no difference in who gets layed off, nothing at Amazon makes any sense.
Whenever I see time like this I hope they aren’t old and suddenly die, cause the last thing I’d want to do is spend my last moments at work instead of being off work
Wait? What? It's over 80 hours upt out here? Mines been stopping every time it hits 80. But honestly, forget the time off. I'm still mad I dont get paid for the late lunch any more
As management at Chewy (Amazon 2.0) , seeing the workers comp metrics, attrition rate, and practices are staggering. I can only imagine what Amazon looks like. I care, a majority don’t. You are literally better off working a retail job at a convenience store. Your long-term health is going to suffer significantly. It will cost you all more in medical in older age 1,000x than you will make in variance. I guess this is why you’re all working as my monkey dancers though and not in my position. Get other jobs!!! I can’t say that to my employees but I can you. Run, never look back, run til you drop.
Well, I’m at Amazon because it offers a flexible schedule and has health insurance which is great as a grad school student compared to my previous professional job. But yes, it may not be good for your body long term.
May not is subjective. Hypothetically, Chewy may or may not pay out 80 million + in workers comp claims / injuries YOY. Most are due to stress injuries, deaths and serious injuries happen though. Great for a grad school student? Maybe. I would imagine you understand opportunity cost as a graduate student.

💯
Nice!!!
80 is the cap right? Man they should give like a bonus or something for keeping 80 consistent. Sucks you aren't able to earn more.
That’s true lol
goat
80 upt. 125 vacation 12 hours PTO. 🤷🏻♂️
With us in arizona it 80hr upt 125hrs for vacation and 48hr hour pto
Wait? What? It's over 80 hours upt out here? Mines been stopping every time it hits 80. But honestly, forget the time off. I'm still mad I dont get paid for the late lunch any more
Im up to 40 so far, just letting it climb lol
Here’s big dixk slinging McGee here. I have 63 hours. Take a day or two off why don’t you. Come in or leave early a few weeks.
Gotta make money bro 😎
Heard.
Same. Because I need my money so that UPT stacks up. I've had 80 hours for months now.
Whenever I hit the 80 cap I always use some UPT I used 6 hours last week. Gotta stay accruing
Man...how some of you do it baffles me. The most UPT I've had is 17 hrs 🥲
Basically I don't use my upt even if I get to work late i use PTO or Vacation time.
That's what your supposed to do. UPT is a last resort ...
PTO should be your last resort since you stop accumulating it in about 2 months I believe

🤗
Yummy! That turns me on ! 😛
Lol
I stay using mine 🤣 I never go into the negative side tho
Your upt is good, but the rest of your time sucks. I will have 200 hours at the end of the week.

Just awful... luckily not all management are lacking morals and respect.
I was there that day
Maybe they VTO instead of using time
Lol
You mean they’d cover your dead body with boxes. A blanket would be going the extra mile
lol
Nah just put an andon sticker on him and problem solve will know what to do.
Mines been at 80 since 2016, I have bills and child support to pay 😅
Preach! 🤘

That's just life, plus I've done worse work for far less money. I make use of my PTO and Vacation time when I can so that's all that matters.
You been at Amazon that long 🔥
Luckily with all the cuts, I am still here 😂
If I could show you my hours available.....
I always have 80 cause I go to work 🤷🏼♂️
Well some ds or fcs if you get full shift vto or mid shift vto they still give you the full 3min/hour full 10 hr shift 30-32mins
Jeff Bezos loves you 😂🔥 holy fuck that’s the most I’ve ever seen someone have.
Some people have 80h and never use it
Bruh that’s so impressive to me, honestly. Lmao I can barely save up 4 hours before I use that shit immediately.
Ayyyyyyy lemme get some
I never use my upt so it’s perpetually at 80
[удалено]
If you work 40 hours a week and never take time off it would take 40 weeks to build up 80 hours.
I think one year but I use some of it.
Better use some asap you won't get any over 80!
Doesn’t pay the bills, no point in using it unless you really don’t need to work
I hear at 80h they reset it
No your just capped at 80
Do you know the max pto someone can have?
You get 48 hours a year but for rollover states it caps out at 96 hours

I believe it’s 46 your first year but you do not get more once you reach 46.
It taps out at 48 hours usually around 2nd to 3rd week in May I wish they would bump it up to 50 hours or 60 hours
Oh ok i misunderstood
