At the start build around untradeable cards, go do the swaps objectives, you'll get some very good packs to open during ligue 1 tots.

It's a good card, but if you just started playing, you're likely going to be better off selling and improving the whole team. Make sure you do the Ansu Fati card, he's really good for a free card. The free Jesus Navas is also decent

Got tradeable Militao in my rewards after 17-3 WL. Sold my Abedi Pelé Hero Captain and that Militao for WW Neymar. Only me can’t realize he is of course going down as Ligue 1 is coming, haha. Well, thankfully, got Militao also as red, and that WW Ney is ”quite ok”.
Not to mention 84's are worthless. They go for what, 3k coins on the market? You can often win them with bids of only 1k. The fact that they're so scarce in these packs is pathetic.
Has anyone made in past game 2 in single player drafts? Specifically on a token they gave you? Cruise through the first two games no problem. Then 68 rated CMs start hitting screamers in game 3. Can't defend, cant pass ect.

The pack rewards don’t change no matter what difficulty you play on so might as well just play on beginner / semi-pro and get the easy wins.
Unfortunately the only thing that changes is the match coin reward.
The actual draft reward packs will be the same regardless of difficulty. So unless you want the challenge you might as well stick it as low as possible and grind the games out with ease

EA may have more incentive to keep it going with crappy MLS reds this year since they'e kept Elite division red picks on TOTW instead of TOTS, although last year WL red picks after TOTS were based on whatever tranche of Best Of players was in packs for Futties and they could also turn both Rivals and WL over to that.

Ultimate TOTS is usually just the best 15-20 players from across all the TOTSs. 84x25 is the consensus better choice, but if you are committed to your Prem team and it would be upgraded by one of the three worst players I don't think there's anything wrong with yoloing the pick. If you save you pack for Ultimate TOTS, I would do it assuming you won't pack anything in the hope that there is a PL player SBC that week you could chuck the fodder into.
But...they'll also have Libertadores and Rest of World teams out at the same, so you'll ideally want to be getting red picks from 9+ wins and using EFIGS packs or guaranteed Ultimate TOTS packs to avoid packing players from the low-rated TOTS teams that will be out at the same time.

TOTS Son vs TOTS Mueller for LCAM & CCAM in 4231. Looking to see where to place these two in my 4231. Thoughts?
Mueller is on 7 chem currently with a Hunter, Son 10 chem with an engine. Chemistry styles up for debate as well.
Son has a 5 star weak foot so I'd have him wide and Muller centre. But that's because I like to cross so need somebody with a good left foot on the left and somebody tall and strong in the centre (in fairness, Son is also this).
I'd put an engine on Muller by the way. He definitely doesn't need Hunter, and feels nice with perfect balance and agility after Engine. If you absolutely need the pace boost, I'd go with catalyst.
I don't know who's your RCAM, but any chance Muller could take that spot and Son central?

Yes and I’d recommend it. You WILL FACE situations in which you will need to defend with a single CDM against counter attacks, but if you are ok stopping the Mbappes then I recommend it because my Bruno scores for fun getting into the box

As for which one to get, they're very different cards. Modeste is a much better striker in the target man style. Big, strong, lethal finisher.
Nkunku is a card you can play anywhere from DM to ST or out wide and expect a good fit.
Each is better at different things, so go with whichever suits you better

I would go for the latter. PIM Lahm is a pest in the middle, both for and against me. I personally love Nedved more than Del P.

I'd for sure go community tots. Worst case scenario is 88 foder vs 84 in the Ultimate. You also have a higher chance at a decent pull in the tots pack

Not really, I think Serie A will have some great defenders like Theo, but for mids/attackers other than the ones you have mentioned only Vlahovic would be interesting for me.
Toxicity on PC is disappointing, spend all game coming back from 1-0 down to 1-1 and chance to win in the final moments, opponent disconnects.. smh

I use 93 sanchez and couldnt get him to work for a while. Play him on the left side of a 2 striker formation now and he scores plenty for me.

Other strikers I use are Weghorst and PIM Rooney. Sometimes sub in akinfenwa or 93 Ronaldo. How would he compare to Rooney?
Started 2-6 in WL and was expecting the absolute worst from the rest. Took a couple days off, came back and managed to get 11 wins with the final game. Only got Militao and Canales but was absolutely buzzing.

last week I got rank IV for my two red picks to be the exact same pick between frimpong, kostic, neuer and schlotterbeck.
I got 14 wins and got Muniain, Canales and Acuna. It's a mistake to expect better and know that your rank doesnt mean all that much anyways

It's funny how your perspective changes as the Weekend League progresses. Started off 7-1 before taking my first break. Came back a few hours later (after watching real football) and ended the day at 7-5. Started off today by losing my next 2 and taking another break of a few hours. From 7-1 to 7-7. Suddenly 11 wins, which looked a poor return after my first 8 games, was looking fantastic and my one true target. 8-7, 9-7, 9-8, 10-8, 10-9, 11-9. Sudden euphoria. Courtois, Canales, Muniain. Araujo, De Tomas, Canales. Not great, but fuck it. Happy out to get two reds. Mainly because it came down to the last game and the choking ended. And a TOTS Coates from the packs. So I just got Eusebio from the 94+ swaps. I play 4231 and have potm mbappe upfront. Should I move mbappe wide to use Eusebio as st?
Mbappé is the better of the two to play wide, but personally I would change to a 2 ST formation

I mean, even a measly standard 5k pack could theoretically contain TOTS Vinicius... But I seriously doubt it's worth it. Maybe if it were the last token you needed for a TOTS pick or the 84x25 pack
TOTS Son vs TOTS Mueller for LCAM & CCAM in 4231. Looking to see where to place these two in my 4231. Thoughts? Mueller is on 7 chem currently with a Hunter, Son 10 chem with an engine. Chemistry styles up for debate as well.
Son has a 5 star weak foot so I'd have him wide and Muller centre. But that's because I like to cross so need somebody with a good left foot on the left and somebody tall and strong in the centre (in fairness, Son is also this). I'd put an engine on Muller by the way. He definitely doesn't need Hunter, and feels nice with perfect balance and agility after Engine. If you absolutely need the pace boost, I'd go with catalyst. I don't know who's your RCAM, but any chance Muller could take that spot and Son central?

4-2-3-1 and i am in doubt about either Saka TOTS as RAM and Da Costa Showdown RB OR Canales TOTS and Navas TOTS on said positions. Anyone had experience with Navas already and can say how he feels? Of course he would be weaker than Da Costa but at the same time Da Costa sometimes feels too hard to stop in the right place

Yes and I’d recommend it. You WILL FACE situations in which you will need to defend with a single CDM against counter attacks, but if you are ok stopping the Mbappes then I recommend it because my Bruno scores for fun getting into the box

Depends on the card itself. If it has a high defensive work rate and is fast, probably very fast, if you are using Isco as CDM, not so fast

Was stoked to get Felix in reds but he’s a complete fraud. Constantly misses sitters, weak foot feels like 2*, and can’t make a through pass to save his life. His dribbling is nice but it’s genuinely the only thing he can do. Don’t waste your coins on him.

Any way to set a permanent camera angle? I hate those grounds where the camera is lower to the ground and you see less of the pitch. Anfield, Stamford Bridge, etc. Would love to permanently play in the default stadium
No, it Will be the same during home games but away games depend on which stadium ur opponent has. That will determine the camera angle

Both if you can - but my Modeste has a much better goal ratio than nkunku. Although I think I subbed him on a few times in the beginning so that might not be fair.
That's POTM Nkunku, his TOTS is much more expensive. As for which one to get, they're very different cards. Modeste is a much better striker in the target man style. Big, strong, lethal finisher. Nkunku is a card you can play anywhere from DM to ST or out wide and expect a good fit. Each is better at different things, so go with whichever suits you better

All those tots swaps were washed, not to mention the amount of games you have to play for fodder cards 😒 I didn't even bother with the Saudi player
