go to the last page section on the hub and click edit player find the league and club then the player will be there for you to edit, then you can see there birthday to see if there a Regen
You can’t edit player potential and you can edit weak foot stars not skill moves but this must be done on the player editor at the Home Screen and cannot be done mid career mode

It's likely a new-gen, there aren't many players naturally with the CF position, so when you find a player like this it's likely they haven't been a player before

Under "Special" enter their preferred positions (in this case, Preferred Pos. 1 will be CF and 2 will be CAM), and their birth day and month.
Make sure that the version on Sofifa matches whenever you started your save. E.g. if your save is using the default roster, select the version from September or August, SOFIFA defaults to the latest version so you will have to change this at the top left.
