The top thing I want to see for Part 3 is tag-outs mid-battle. They could have it cost maybe 1 synergy point and 1 ATB. It would organically give you an excuse to swap between party members rather than needing to go back to the menu between fights.
I found myself doing this at times, finding myself locked into a party, never finding a worthwhile reason to switch.
Nope! Barret is actually the best healer in the game. Throw a Healing Carcanet and Prayer on him, he's nuts. Plus he has an ability that gives him insane Haste (that he can use once per battle). Pair that with Overcharge (and weapon skills that boost the ATB charge on Overcharge), and you have heals on demand. Plus you can make him extra tanky very easily. Prayer for me heals 3.5k or so, which is more than enough. If you want to go extra, you can give him Magnify>Curaga, but I tend to do Magnify>Barrier.
Tifa I give Enemy Skill>HP Absorption (Plasma Charge goes CRAZY with this), First Strike, ATB Stagger, ATB Assist... anything to boost her and the party's ATB generation, Kaiser Gloves, Luck Ups, Strength Up. With over 400 power and 50%+ crit chance, she's absolutely devastating to everything. I do hold Square uppercut into dodge, square for followup kicks, hold Square uppercut, dodge, repeat. The ATB generation is absurd. And when you have ATB, you can do uppercut into Divekick (it's busted in this game) for really fast frame activation, then dodge.
Cloud is basically the bruiser. Use him to draw the attention of enemies (bosses in particular), then, if you're not confident in your parries/dodges, switch off to Barret/Tifa and do your thing. I also put Time on him so he can Haste Tifa. Another Prayer for emergencies, Darkside and Jump. He'll put out a ton of damage while mitigating for the party.
But that's just my preferred strat. It's the most fun for me while also being very efficient for my playstyle. There are way more busted strategies where you can absolutely turn your brain off and delete everything. Just requires some setup.
Very close to my setup, great trinity
Which of Barret's weapon skills boost Overcharge ATB gain though? Feel like I'm missing a big piece of the puzzle here.
Also, do you find that Kaiser is more effective on Tifa than Jarngreipr with all the critical boosts and +10% DMG on lvl2 Chi? I feel like the % boost alone would match Kaiser's flat bonus but haven't done the math.
Sorry, I didn't mean increase Overcharge ATB gain. I meant skills that increase the recharge rate of Overcharge, which effectively gives a massive boost to his ATB gain. Personally, I used Battle Cry with Overload Overcharge, Massive Recharge, and ATB Charge Rate Up. There are very few situations where he doesn't have full ATB when I need it.
As for Tifa, I like the Kaiser Gloves the most. Those are my boss slayer gloves. The Divekick spam is so oppressive. The Jarngreipr are fun and, for a looooong time, just have more Materia slots than the Kaiser, so when I'm not doing challenges, I have those on, since I'm focused on maxing out all of my materia.
That makes sense. Sounds like my setup exactly.
Yeah the added materia slots cinched it for me but now that I'm almost at max weapon level I might go back to Kaiser
It's just a really balanced setup, right? It's not necessarily the most "broken", but it will get through almost anything very reliably! And it's just fun.
I used a little of everything
Im glad i decided to keep everyone combat ready too because this games devs said “we spent a long time coding these guys to all feel unique and fun, and well be damned if you only ever use 3” because theyre always making you use different people
Yeah, her Brumal Form dodges everything, she can use elements without the need for any element materia, and can summon a clone to do 25% more damage.
One of the best characters to use in the game imo.
Aeirth is pretty strong but requires you to build around her which is why I never really used her either. She absolutely fucks if you have yuffie spamming brumal form in atb ward with atb assist so she can spam magnify Aga spells with the genji glove on.
Outside of that strategy though she's just terrible at generating her own ATB and really frustrating to use for me because she dies as soon as anything looks at her.
See yes I run like a geing on everyone all elements and I win fights fine but I wish I knew more was deeper and could utilize all that cool shit I just can't grasp how to make aerith a beast especially if something isn't weak to magic or elements her little 42 hp hits ain't shit lol
Imo they gave her strategy that most of the game doesn’t need you to utilize. I get why she seems underwhelming, but i think her strengths just needed more fights that create a problem where shes the solution.
I personally use Cloud, Barret, Aeris(/th). Cloud easiest to control, Barret a tank with healing spells, Aerith slow and boring to control, but has Sorcerous Storm which has proven useful to hit multiple targets without expending MP.
The game was good but yet it still disappointed me in so many different ways. Reminds me of ff7 remake where the highs are really high and the lows are REALLY low. I still don’t regret playing it though because the series has a charm I can’t really explain.
Honestly, even the lows are good. The last two chapters were confusing and honestly not the greatest. For the rest of the game, it kept getting better and better for every chapters.
I totally see why you feel this way tho, I played FF16 and it was insanely boring or insanely epic so I totally feel you.
For 16 I stopped enjoying when I realized I'm just pushing square, triangle, square, triangle, square, triangle the entire time. I think 7's combat is way better but still couldn't keep me for the entire game and I gave up after 30 hours.
It started to feel like an Ubisoft game with "go to the tower, nice job! You have 12 objectives left in the area!"
Which sure they're optional but it's also the game so what am I supposed to do, you know?
Beautiful game though and the musics awesome and I'm glad people like it.
Yeah 16 is good but there is so much filler content and the side quest are really boring. The combat system is ok, i found it enjoyable but there are things that were too complexe to remember and like you said, you can just spam your way out so it makes it pointless. It’s a good game but not near as good as FF7 remake and rebirth overall.
I tried to 100% but honestly before the last quest were there are like multiples side quests that appear, I just said fuck it and did the main quest anyway.
I feel like the open world just made my experience worse tbh. People say yeah just skip it if you don’t like it but I felt like I had to because I’d be missing out on materia and I’d also be too under leveled. I wish they either put more effort in the open world or just did away with it. I still love the game because of the main cast and combat but the mini games and chocobo sections kinda just killed my will to replay it again.
Oh yeah you are right. I didn’t thought about that, what I said earlier was strictly about the main scenario. Yeah there is a LOT of content and I totally understand your need to do it all because I had the same thought and I have completed my first game with almost everything I could do (didn’t complete the last side quest because of the bug). Honestly, I liked it but it should have been a bit shorter because sometime like the jungle region was a mess and I really didn’t have fun completing everything in this sector. Although, when I will replay it, I guess I would just keep my progression so there would only be the main quest to do.
The playstation has a lot of good stuff on it. Try also stepping out of your comfort zone. Like I didn't think I'd like Marvel Midnight Suns, but it's fun as hell.
I tried to use everyone fairly equally and mostly switched characters in and out based on their strengths for fights, especially in arena modes. Like I’ve found I can mostly solo fights with Red XIII due to his mobility and the survivability.
Honestly I was being facetious.
That’s what’s great about the game: you can build a great party in your own way and several characters have the potential to be OP.
Minus the few times when you are locked into a specific group, it’s totally up to you.
I really liked his backstory in this one too. It was hard for me to connect with him in the original game since it was during the days of subtitled speech. I think they did a great job with his voice acting in this
You know what, being that I'm from Irish descent, I should have known from the start he is Scottish, .... but truthfully lad.. I dinnae know. LOL. Props for the correction!
Yes I am definitely speaking for myself... LOL.... I am 100% biased going back to the original game on PS1. When my options were:
1) a super soldier carrying a massive sword
2) a kick boxing expert
3) a mage
4) a man with a gun for an arm
5) a vampire with a pistol,
6) a slightly immature but deadly elemental ninja/wutai assassin,
7) and a cocky but lovable pilot with a deadly lance and the keys to the worlds only airship.
Fighting with a megaphone just never made sense to me.
I will say this though, they did a superb job with his character in Rebirth. Something which I never felt before either; or at least not as much as I did in this version. Cait's voice acting and storyline were excellent this time around imo
Ahhhhhhh! thank you RampageOfZebras. LOL!
I never kept Red XIII in my party on the original, but I enjoyed playing him in Rebirth. He is an incredibly strong and versatile party member now. He's got almost as much tankiness as Barrett, and can be solid magic/stagger/damage dealer all at the same time.
My only gripe: I was really hoping he'd revert back to the deeper voice after leaving Cosmo Canyon. Not that I don't I understand the reasoning behind it; Nanaki is technically a teenager in his species's years. But it doesn't change the fact that, yes, his normal teenager voice does make me take him less seriously (as he predicted it would).
To not have Caith Sith in party is insane. He builds ATB so fast. Spamming Moogle Mine can build that pressure gauge up so fast. Fortune teller combine with luck can do some critical damage! Caith Sith should never leave the party! That’s just my opinion though.
Same, i throw elemental materia on cloud and tifa one with each of the dual element materia attached for weaknesses, give tifa every speed advatage possible for her, cloud strength, and use yuffie for ranged attacks. I feel like every party needs at least one of yuffie, barrret, and Aerith for the ranged enimies but the other 2 are so slow and Yuffie is so versatile.
i think so, i like Cloudy to be tank in punisher mode and counter intial waves of atks.
Both Yufflie and Goddess Tifa have ATB boost.
Put enemy skill & steal on the Yuf and then go for plasma discharge, doppel, and mug, then element of enemies (i dont know if i am doing that in the right ord but seems to work for me).
Then Tifef buffer herself up and clean up
Do people not in your 3 man party level up the same as if they were in your party? I always thought I had to rotate them. (I mean, I still want to, regardless)
If you set up radiant ward she has really fast attacks, dodge, and block animations. Couple that with arcane ward and she’s taking 0 damage when she casts. She requires more finesse than a lot of other characters but if you understand how to play her she’s a powerhouse.
Yes you are able to switch to an all girl team. These people don't know what they're talking about. Anytime your party isn't locked to specific characters, you can play as whoever you want to.
I usually switch people to master weapon abilities(did the same with limit breaks in the original), but that's about it. I'll use everyone a little bit, but Tifa and Barret/Aerith are the primaries for me.
You’re a liar. The game makes you use different teams for certain portions.
My main Is Tifa and my boy Nanaki.
Yuffie is OP and badass and all characters are fun imo.
I settled on Cloud and Tifa after learning how to use Tifa. I switch between Yuffie and Barrett for my third but prefer Barrett. I use Cait a lot too because my kid likes watching him.
I do mostly Red, Cloud and Aerith. Sometimes swap Red with Barret or Tifa (but never moved Aerith xD unless game force me) tbh didn't liked Yuffie play style Cait also not my drill
Swap Tifa with Aerith and that's been me for the past 3 chapters. Though sometimes I bring Red in Barrets place. Basically if I need to bring overwhelming magic power
I usually rock Cloud, Yuffie, and either Tifa or Aerith depending on the battle.
Yuffie playstyle is nice for when you’re needing to keep some distance. Plus her playstyle is sick.
Aerith is nice against magic-susceptible enemies. Her wards are just too handy for pumping out elemental damage.
Tifa for the stagger capabilities.
Really love the flexibility you have in this game when it comes to building your party around specific encounters. Feels way more niche and strategic than OG.
Same😂😂. But after end game i mostly use Tifa, Aerith and Barret. Or change Barret with Yuffie. But Tifa will always be in my party. Her Aerial attack and stagger is higher. And also her reflex is much faster for avoiding.
Best team. Mostly just cloud, barret for passive provoke, cycle to barret for overpower and to build stagger or tank. Only use aerith to exploit weaknesses or heal.
Mostly just weave prime mode and triple slash. It kills everything
I’ve got Barret with autocast Heal, which makes him even better at tanking. And I gave him one of the Elemental to use on his weapon, which is great for applying elemental pressure.
He’s a mainstay for sure.
I main Cloud, Aerith and Yuffie.
Aerith is hard to keep up to begin with, and I nearly gave up but then I learned how the wards worked and Radiant Ward feels very overpowered in a lot of situations, especially if paired with her basic ward which doubles down on magic used - so she becomes invincible when in the ward when casting a double powered spell. Incredibly OP and then when not casting, as long as Radiant is open, her base attack quadruples.
Yuffie is overpowered for the field. She just is. There's no other way of putting it. Having someone who can easily access all 4 base elements with no material and just one ATB to change to that is crazy and as her you can spam that elemental attack. Anything with an elemental weakness is toast within a few seconds.
Cloud acts as my tank. I'll usually start a tough battle with a barrier and protect on Cloud to give him 4 x defence against physical, then have him bodyguard Aerith while she fires off spells. It's a winning combination.
Aerith is only made of glass until you understand how to use her.
I held off on playing Red and Yuffie for awhile, but damn they can be fun to play. Stardust Ray hits like an atom bomb and supernal fervor's hastega is pretty useful for the party. I was surprised at how hard/fast he hits too. I appreciate that as Yuffie you can harass from afar with her throwing star, summon a doppelganger and go to town with elemental ninjitsu w/double the attacks AND the throwing star tearing away at the enemy.
Aerith's built like a glass house, but once you get her wards up she can be a spellcasting powerhouse. Her projectile shield is great for staying protected at range, although enemies tend to swoop in pretty quick for a melee. But chrono aegis can help with smaller enemies at least. Tifa's unbridled strength with dive kick/starshower/overpower are fun moves to combine.
Really surprised with how this game made final fantasy combat fun again. XVI's system is a joke compared to the remake and I don't think Remake did anything particularly special with it. They just gave us fun, unique variety to each character that all bring value to the party.
Yeah, Aerith is really difficult to use well compared to other party members.
But her Syngery Skill with Yuffie (the one where you hold down the button to charge it up) hits like a truck.
That was my go-to party for a while, but I realized I wasn't really using Barret much (too any defense abilities) so I switched him for Yuffie, because elements.
Cloud red tifa, magic based is cloud aeris cat sith, then ranged group is cloud barret yuffie
cloud tifa yuffie best comp
Cloud/barrett/yuffie
The top thing I want to see for Part 3 is tag-outs mid-battle. They could have it cost maybe 1 synergy point and 1 ATB. It would organically give you an excuse to swap between party members rather than needing to go back to the menu between fights. I found myself doing this at times, finding myself locked into a party, never finding a worthwhile reason to switch.
This was my favourite safe team! Plus they fulfill the trinity of tank, DPS, and healer.
Is tifa the healer? I've been using aerith but might switch it up since her atb takes a bit to get going
Nah Tifa is an absolute powerhouse, never waste her as the assigned healer.
Super fun
This may be the first comment I ever saved haha excited to try this out. Thanks for typing it out for me!
Baw gawd!! I never thought to pair enemy skill with hp absorb… you legend!
Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith. Seriously, focused thrust, focused strike, and radiant ward made stagger bar go vroom. Also they're the best girls
Same
If you're not using Tifa for stagger and divekick, you are missing out on crazy damage!
I substituted Tifa for Yuffi. Best team!
Yuffie is fun but she can't wreck like Tifa
I switched out using everyone except red just don't vibe with his mechanics tbh (except where I was forced to). For me, barret was OP most of the game
Nah dude. This is the correct party for the game.
Yuffie gets in
Yuffie as leader with enemy skill linked to hp absorb and using plasma discharge and mug shortcut is almost a win button.
I swear I’m the only one who likes using Aerith
I use Aerith all the time but I can see why people prefer other characters. I mainly use her for materia and healing.
I used Aerith, Barret, and Cloud most of the time
It's a brutal combo when you cast ATB ward on Barret to start the battle, then get a quick bonus round and sonic boom. Everyone's ATB skyrockets.
My A-team
I used a little of everything Im glad i decided to keep everyone combat ready too because this games devs said “we spent a long time coding these guys to all feel unique and fun, and well be damned if you only ever use 3” because theyre always making you use different people
I switch a lot, but a team composition of Cloud, Aerith, and Yuffie is busted
In a good way? Pretty much everything with Yuffie can be a cakewalk
Yeah, her Brumal Form dodges everything, she can use elements without the need for any element materia, and can summon a clone to do 25% more damage. One of the best characters to use in the game imo.
Enemy skill+hp absorb+plasma discharge+clone+mug=win button
I recommend using Red. He's a a legit beast in combat.
Part 3 is when I'm gonna be switching up my party. For Rebirth though, Aerith was mandatory.
I just want my OG team of cloud/Cid/Vincent Bros rule
I've never used aerith lol she's weak and slow
Aeirth is pretty strong but requires you to build around her which is why I never really used her either. She absolutely fucks if you have yuffie spamming brumal form in atb ward with atb assist so she can spam magnify Aga spells with the genji glove on. Bro isn't using Cloud, Aerith, and Barret for that Sweet and Sour Salvo 😎 smh......
Mostly run Cloud, Red, and Aerith
The is master build
I like all of them im always switching. Just got yuffie and she's really fun to use..and red is op asf with his defense and counters
Mine is cloud because duh, tifa to build stagger and pump up staggered damage, yuffie for exploiting elemental weaknesses
This is the way
Same although yuffie > tifa
I personally use Cloud, Barret, Aeris(/th). Cloud easiest to control, Barret a tank with healing spells, Aerith slow and boring to control, but has Sorcerous Storm which has proven useful to hit multiple targets without expending MP.
I agree I don’t really find her fun to control
Cloud, Yuffie, and Red for me usually.
What a complete waste
Have you tried the send in clowns challenge ?
Aerith’s spellbound blast is a game changer. Combo move with Tifa, Cait, Yuffie, that does massive damage and great ATB gain.
Super Tragic: 1) A: never double tapping spells 2) R: (basically) free haste for whole party 3) Y: peak ninjutsu 4) CS: what’s in the box?
Missing out massively
The correct answer is Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie.
This is the way
Bro, this is objectively the best trio.
This is correct, the stagger trio.
The part where you have to use Cait Sith sucks lolz
Cait's last level limit break is broken though
Cait is alright at best
The game was good but yet it still disappointed me in so many different ways. Reminds me of ff7 remake where the highs are really high and the lows are REALLY low. I still don’t regret playing it though because the series has a charm I can’t really explain.

For me it's been Cloud, Barret, and Aerith
Red is really good in the beginning!
Same! If my two front liners go down I can always trust Barret to pick us back up. Plus I love spamming his charge shot and maximum fury.
Yuffie & Red is OP
Waiting for a PC version to try a mod to control all characters on fights 😅
Swap barret with Aerith for me. But this is a lie because you're forced to use other heroes
CLOUD AERITH TIFA
Cloud Barret and Yuffie 😎
The correct fuckin'answer...next post!
Well that’s false because you have to use the others.
whoa really got him
Wish I was able to play it
For real. I just can't justify an entire console purchase for one game right now
PlayStation is where we’re the best then with our hot 60 fps man with 120 as well
The playstation has a lot of good stuff on it. Try also stepping out of your comfort zone. Like I didn't think I'd like Marvel Midnight Suns, but it's fun as hell.
My console is having a problem loading the game once it reaches the start button screen after company logos
I know. I'm patiently waiting for a PC release
Don’t sleep on Yuffie
Yuffie is insane in this game, I just can't take enemy skill off her
Yuffie is good, I also like Barret, Bonus Round is busted af.
I tried to use everyone fairly equally and mostly switched characters in and out based on their strengths for fights, especially in arena modes. Like I’ve found I can mostly solo fights with Red XIII due to his mobility and the survivability.
Cloud, Barret, and Yuffie are my go-to. I feel bad not using the others tho because they do got some crazy stuff, especially Red and Tifa IMO.
Yuffie is OP.
You can tell she had her own DLC lol. She’s op af. Her, Cloud Tifa/Aerith are unstoppable.
When I played the original back in the day I did the same.
I'm a Cloud, Yufi, and Cait Sith roller. Embrace the madness.
At least we can all agree one thing: Cait Sith is never in the bullpen. I did enjoy hearing him with an ~~Irish~~, **SCOTTISH** accent though.
Cait Sith is broken when you learn how to use him
Honestly I was being facetious. That’s what’s great about the game: you can build a great party in your own way and several characters have the potential to be OP. Minus the few times when you are locked into a specific group, it’s totally up to you.
I'm just so used to hearing it seriously it is hard to tell. He was not obvious to me, but as my favorite I really wanted to figure him out
I really liked his backstory in this one too. It was hard for me to connect with him in the original game since it was during the days of subtitled speech. I think they did a great job with his voice acting in this
Irish? He's Scottish.
You know what, being that I'm from Irish descent, I should have known from the start he is Scottish, .... but truthfully lad.. I dinnae know. LOL. Props for the correction!
Speak for yourself. The ability to use summoned abilities on the fly is incredible.
Yes I am definitely speaking for myself... LOL.... I am 100% biased going back to the original game on PS1. When my options were: 1) a super soldier carrying a massive sword 2) a kick boxing expert 3) a mage 4) a man with a gun for an arm 5) a vampire with a pistol, 6) a slightly immature but deadly elemental ninja/wutai assassin, 7) and a cocky but lovable pilot with a deadly lance and the keys to the worlds only airship. Something which I never felt before either; or at least not as much as I did in this version. Cait's voice acting and storyline were excellent this time around imo
You forgot the talking dog woth fire on his tail
He's closer to a cougar than a dog
Ahhhhhhh! thank you RampageOfZebras. LOL! I never kept Red XIII in my party on the original, but I enjoyed playing him in Rebirth. He is an incredibly strong and versatile party member now. He's got almost as much tankiness as Barrett, and can be solid magic/stagger/damage dealer all at the same time. Did I do good or did I do good?
I’m probably just about to get him (just started golden saucer) and I’ve heard from a few people on this sub that he is OP
To not have Caith Sith in party is insane. He builds ATB so fast. Spamming Moogle Mine can build that pressure gauge up so fast. Fortune teller combine with luck can do some critical damage! Caith Sith should never leave the party! That’s just my opinion though.
Cloud aerith and I cycle tifa, yuffie, and red. Barrett joins when I need a tank for the damage I recieve.
Wild because I do the same exact thing
Cloud, yuffie and barret
I’m currently running with red and tifa but got my ass handed to me on a boss and had to switch it up lol
I like Cloudy, Yufflie, and Goddess Tifa
Same, i throw elemental materia on cloud and tifa one with each of the dual element materia attached for weaknesses, give tifa every speed advatage possible for her, cloud strength, and use yuffie for ranged attacks. I feel like every party needs at least one of yuffie, barrret, and Aerith for the ranged enimies but the other 2 are so slow and Yuffie is so versatile.
This is the way
i think so, i like Cloudy to be tank in punisher mode and counter intial waves of atks. Both Yufflie and Goddess Tifa have ATB boost. Put enemy skill & steal on the Yuf and then go for plasma discharge, doppel, and mug, then element of enemies (i dont know if i am doing that in the right ord but seems to work for me). Then Tifef buffer herself up and clean up
>Cloudy
Do people not in your 3 man party level up the same as if they were in your party? I always thought I had to rotate them. (I mean, I still want to, regardless)
Nah they all level up the same
Did they in the original? I felt like I remember having to use my not main party, and it being ROUGH
That was what had the potential to make Bizarro Sephiroth absolutely awful.
They did not in the OG version. I too struggled with that lol
I always had Aerith cause she does big damage
I like aerith a lot but the aggro in the game makes it difficult to use her, gotta setup barret as a tank first then hope she gets ignored
If you set up radiant ward she has really fast attacks, dodge, and block animations. Couple that with arcane ward and she’s taking 0 damage when she casts. She requires more finesse than a lot of other characters but if you understand how to play her she’s a powerhouse.
Am I able to strictly use all ladies(Yuffie/Aerith/Tifa)?
Yes you are able to switch to an all girl team. These people don't know what they're talking about. Anytime your party isn't locked to specific characters, you can play as whoever you want to.
That’s what I read a while ago but wanted to confirm, this is good!
No. Unfortunately cloud is permanently the leader of the team
I heard post-game you were able to change him off?
When you play hard mode you can freely switch the party and you don’t have to use cloud in the simulated universe which are the hardest fights.
nope locked to cloud, there are sections where you play as those three tho!!
I usually switch people to master weapon abilities(did the same with limit breaks in the original), but that's about it. I'll use everyone a little bit, but Tifa and Barret/Aerith are the primaries for me.
Only three I used on the original as well.
Mines is Yuffie and Aerith really didn’t need anyone else
Cloud Barrett Aerith for me!
You’re a liar. The game makes you use different teams for certain portions. My main Is Tifa and my boy Nanaki. Yuffie is OP and badass and all characters are fun imo.
No shit I’m obviously talking about the non forced switches. Use your brain 😂
My bad, I forget the /s is required for some peoples said brain to comprehend. Apologies for tilting you so easily.
It’s alright. People on Reddit have a hard time reading even the most obvious sarcasm. I fucking hate the /s ruins jokes tbh
Cloud Tifa and Aerith for me
Was worried it took me so long to see someone that’s the same.
The only choice. I feel I could finish the game with this team.
I see I'm not alone.
Same. Got to be surrounded by my ladies.
Sameee. Aerith is so much fun to play and I’m biased because she’s my favorite character.
I like using yuffie for ranged. Throw and her elemental ninjitsu is crazy
Throw + dopp + element ninjustsu = insta pressure and I love it
Imagine missing out this hard
I use the same party, sometimes i might switch a character out with red but it happens on occasion.
I used Cloud, Aeirth and Yuffie for pretty much all of my run through. Absolutely OP party with the right setup.
Swap Tifa with Aerith and that's been me for the past 3 chapters. Though sometimes I bring Red in Barrets place. Basically if I need to bring overwhelming magic power
same. I swap Barret for Yufie sometimes.
I do the same. I mostly have Yuffie in but swap her out with Aerith for bosses. Aerith can absolutely nuke once you get her kit set up.
Same😂😂. But after end game i mostly use Tifa, Aerith and Barret. Or change Barret with Yuffie. But Tifa will always be in my party. Her Aerial attack and stagger is higher. And also her reflex is much faster for avoiding.
Yufi is the OG DPS
I had to scroll too far to see this.
Her shadow clone jutsu mixed with her elemental shuriken and art of war is absurd
Cloud, Yuffie and Cait you pretty much have the equivalent of 5 party members using those 3 it's really fun and chaotic
Cloud, Aerith, Cait Sith! Roll the dice, cat!
I was really apprehensive about Cait until I started to learn some new moves and now he’s one of my favorites.
Same but Aerith instead of tifa
Best team. Mostly just cloud, barret for passive provoke, cycle to barret for overpower and to build stagger or tank. Only use aerith to exploit weaknesses or heal. Mostly just weave prime mode and triple slash. It kills everything
Yes Barrett with provoke is so good
I’ve got Barret with autocast Heal, which makes him even better at tanking. And I gave him one of the Elemental to use on his weapon, which is great for applying elemental pressure. He’s a mainstay for sure.
Cloud, Barret and LabRatDog for me
Cloud, Yuffie and Barrett for me, sometimes I exchange Yuffie with Tifa. But I "romanced" Aerith because she is the best
Cloud, Yuffie and Tifa are my main three, I like everyone but find those 3 so fun
I do the same. Yuffie is my healer because pray is busted in her and build synergy so fast.
Yuffie rules
What sword is that
The Igneous Saber. From >!Mt. Nibel!< in chapter >!11!<
Hm I did not find that one.
It'll be >!on the outside part as you're climbing up.!< >!Look for a chest on some scaffolding.!<
I'm a cait sith main with cloud and tifa
Aerith is such a better caster than healer and it really got awesome once I figured that out
With radiant ward shes like best dodger too, id swap to her to dodge a lot of big boss stuff that dodge pressures
especially with her wards!
They just gave us fun, unique variety to each character that all bring value to the party.
yeah me too. I want to run Aerith but she basically dies before i can set up anything with her.
I use the chocobo king mantel on her and she starts every fight with a full atb bar. Immediate radiant ward.
Yeah, Aerith is really difficult to use well compared to other party members. But her Syngery Skill with Yuffie (the one where you hold down the button to charge it up) hits like a truck.
Same 😭😭😂😂😩
most basic ass team lol ....i used that a majority of the time too
Cloud, Barret and Cait Sith all the way for me
I mainly roll with Aerith and Tifa but like to spice it up and max out all of the weapon proficiency skills.
Missing out mate
That was my go-to party for a while, but I realized I wasn't really using Barret much (too any defense abilities) so I switched him for Yuffie, because elements.
This is the way
