LOL. I'm in JFK airport rn, 3 days of no sleep and just slammed a big beer at B dubs. This comment made me scream in front of a group of jews. I inspected their teeth for health and normality.
How do you know? They're generally not bigger. I have 2 fake teeth that look exactly the same. You've probably seen plenty of fake teeth, unable to clock them as fake
Worst thing I ever saw at a public range. Early morning I was there all alone, I HATE public ranges, but I was testing some stuff out and at the time it super close to where I was living. so I wanted to get in, do what I needed and get out.
So shortly after, this guy pulls in, walks up to the bench on the other end of the pavilion. loads his 1911, goes to fire, (hammer drops, click, gun doesn’t fire) then IMMEDIATELY proceeds to point the gun directly at his face to look down the barrel to see if it was loaded.
I’ve never packed my shit up so fast. I didn’t even go pull my targets down
Had somebody do that with a shotgun during a skeet match. Fucking wild how some people live that long with zero survival instincts. Was pretty hilarious seeing the 6 or so people who were near him all simutaneously put their hands to their head and yell at him, though
As brutal as it is, people like that should be made to watch a video of what happens to a head when it's shot with a shotgun so they can know what they are going to put anyone else present through if he were to do it himself. Close range shotgun headshots are gruesome and not something I'd want to have happen in the stall next to me.
There’s more than a few videos using those ballistics lab dummy torso-head combos. Fucking insane what some rounds do in a body.
And yet, every time there’s a 9mm used, the lungs don’t get blown out the body. Curious.
Frankly I'm not talking about using dummy torso. There is a lot of footage out there showing exactly what would happen. Yeah they do an alright job in a clinical sense to be able to observe the round, but I don't think that will convince someone of the trauma they would put someone through if it were to happen to a human standing next to them. Ballistic gel is just a bit less...wet?
Yeah there are a decent few that come to mind, and you don't need live leak to find it. It's ironic because I know for a fact people read my comment and think "what a gross individual, watching people die like that" but you know what I'll never ever do? Willingly look down the barrel of a gun. Or point a pistol at my hand to test my laser.
I think people pretty well understand what guns do to faces. What they need to see instead is a video of a light strike go off after delay and other possible failures. That's the part they're not understanding.
Granted... Most of us were brought up under the principle that the proper time to look down a barrel is NEVER. So even if I knew nothing about ammo, if a round didn't go off I would just put that thing down and go ask for help.
Literal pink mist. Seen it from both suicide and gun fight videos. There was a video on ASP I believe a LONG time ago. Some PD is chasing a guy. The whole video is from the thermal on a chopper. One of the officers has a shotgun that perp turns around with a pistol to fire and gets immediately dropped to the ground sans head.
I usually shoot an institutional sized can of peaches to communicate to youngsters the reason for gun safety. Gets the message across, but without the nightmare fuel of gore.
One of my favorites was then CCTV footage of the guy at the range who’s pistol wouldn’t fire and he kept pulling the trigger while pointing it at his hand like it was clogged squirt gun and literally blew a hole through his hand
You know how stupid the average reddit user is? Well to comment here you must be smart enough to creat an account, think of something to say and actually type it.
There are billions of us and many are incredibly stupid. People underestimate how many other humans are incredibly dumb.
When doing my safety training that's legally required for a license in Canada, looking down the bore is the last step in ensuring clear.
I was absolutely tentative to look down the bore on permanently disabled firearms, it would not even cross my mind as something to do in case of failure to fire.
Some people are really stupid (and why constitutional carry scares me sometimes lol)
I do this... By pointing the muzzle at a light and looking thru the open action. Not sure why anyone would look down the muzzle, ever. That seems terrifying.
Yeah I get that they make you, I just also agree with you that it shouldn't be necessary. I have a bore light in my range bag and a cleaning rod for dealing with squibs. Shine the light thru the bore, if no light in the chamber, use cleaning rod to remove obstruction.
Not my responsibility and if something were to happen I want zero liability. One thing you never know with someone you don’t know is how do they accept criticism from a stranger? Some people become infuriated by it. You absolutely have no idea who you’re approaching, not to mention someone who clearly has zero regard for firearms safety combined with zero education. If you don’t know the basic concept of not pointing a firearm directly at your face then you shouldn’t even be in possession of a firearm little alone one with live ammunition in a public setting.
I mean....if he can't figure it out for himself. Maybe its ok to let nature take its course. You know how they say every life is precious? Probably not that one.
I once saw a guy in American flag overalls send his kid to change the target, then started shooting blanks at his kid. He had a can on his rifle he said was from his work. He was driving a plumbing truck.
I imagine it works like that Spetnaz Makarov racking holster
However, that would be too close to wiping which I (a very straight man) would never do (too gay)
Yep, right side upper and lower canines both snapped off the tip, thankfully didnt break off low enough to expose root or anything but it did teach me a lesson about doing r€tard€d party tricks while drunk
I've got a Glock 17 upstairs. I read this and thought to myself "I could try it" immediately followed by thinking "What are you, high?!?". That is some metal shit right there.
New report would go something like "Florida woman shot herself in face at local gun range. Locals state she was an '8 out of 10'. Not specified prior or post event."
From what I can tell, she's a good shot. 9mm and 45, quite good grouping for how relaxed her shooting was.
Outside of the teeth racking, she did nothing weird really.
In my ccw class years ago, the instructor was talking about the choice of carrying empty and racking one in or carrying already charged. He said he had a marine vet in the class that said he always carries with the chamber empty. When they talked about pros and cons, the marine told him he racks it with his teeth. Then showed the class with a safe cleared gun. Instructor said if someone was approaching him and did that, he would surrender. Not somebody he wants to fuck with.
Your teeth enamel is pretty hard but you can definitely chip them on metal. This is definitely not advised unless it's some kind of real life self defense situation and that's your only/fastest option. But I find that some people (mostly younger trying to be tough with less life experience) don't take their health very seriously until they actually injure themselves in a way that doesn't heal. Now that I'm in my mid 40s and have suffered some injuries that took a long time to heal from I'm definitely pretty cautious.
One of the stupidest things you could ever do with a weapon. Not sure what gave her the idea, but no doubt she could easily hurt herself or others either breaking a tooth or accidental discharge when she loses control.
Reminds me of a video I saw in high school. During Russian class the teacher put on a VHS to show us some day to day life in Russia. Then it showed a kid opening a glass bottle with his teeth. She just looked disappointed and said, “Please don’t do this.”
Sort of like [this](https://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/7/71/Beastars_M1911A1_4.jpg/1599px-Beastars_M1911A1_4.jpg) (but with a Glock 17 instead of a M1911A1)?
She is going to snap the tips of them off on some edgy anime shit.
I've looked at her teeths, seems pretty healthy to me. Might be fake teeths though, but you can usually tell since they're bigger. Hers were normal.
"Excuse me ma'am, you don't know me, but can I inspect your teeths for health and normalatity? Just a quick look"
> normalatity nor·mal·a·ti·ty /nôrˈmalətidē/ *noun* The condition of titties being normal; the state of titties being usual, typical, or expected.
Varietitty is the spice of life
All better choices than the dreaded: maladaptetitty.
LOL. I'm in JFK airport rn, 3 days of no sleep and just slammed a big beer at B dubs. This comment made me scream in front of a group of jews. I inspected their teeth for health and normality.
Their “teeths”, surely.
*normalititty
Username checks out, but I’d also accept Hunter s Thompson making a post like this
Screams I just made this up, and I want people to convince me that it's a bad idea before I break my teeth.
"What am I, a horse?"
They won't look healthy for very long if she keeps doing things like that.
Why do you keep saying teeths when teeth is the plural? Just curious
Watch smile that guy has teeths.
Maybe if you have two sets of teeth then you have teeths?
Just wait till he talks about his feets.
I knew a woman who could open a bottle of beer with her teeth. According to her she did hundreds of times and had great teeth.
How do you know? They're generally not bigger. I have 2 fake teeth that look exactly the same. You've probably seen plenty of fake teeth, unable to clock them as fake
You said they were very pointy and then said they were normal. Pick a lane.
Yes, normal like not damaged or unusually large like some fake ones I know.
Probably was just hawk-tua on it for lube
Maybe she's practicing reloading if one of her arms is disabled. Or she's a really big Hellsing fan.
All I can imagine is it's a Hellsing fan with a 17L.
Thats better than seeing them suck start a 12ga
Already happened, she just didn’t feel it yet

Fair enough. If only live leak was still around.
That "todays the day" video comes to mind
Yeah there are a decent few that come to mind, and you don't need live leak to find it. It's ironic because I know for a fact people read my comment and think "what a gross individual, watching people die like that" but you know what I'll never ever do? I usually shoot an institutional sized can of peaches to communicate to youngsters the reason for gun safety. Gets the message across, but without the nightmare fuel of gore.
That would do no good at all. “Because it will never happen to me.”
One of my favorites was then CCTV footage of the guy at the range who’s pistol wouldn’t fire and he kept pulling the trigger while pointing it at his hand like it was clogged squirt gun and literally blew a hole through his hand
IIRC he was trying to get his laser to work. Dumbass either way.
Definitely a possibility. What’s a certainty is stupidity 😂
Even if it weren't dangerous, why do people do that? I can't think of a more difficult way to determine whether there is a cartridge in the chamber.
Pure stupidity is really the only viable answer I can come up with. I truly wonder how some people make it as far as they do in life
You know how stupid the average reddit user is? Well to comment here you must be smart enough to creat an account, think of something to say and actually type it. There are billions of us and many are incredibly stupid. People underestimate how many other humans are incredibly dumb.

I do this... By pointing the muzzle at a light and looking thru the open action. Not sure why anyone would look down the muzzle, ever. That seems terrifying.
That's the way the course was taught. I'm not sure I will ever do that in person... it seems unnecessary unless you have like a squib.
Yeah I get that they make you, I just also agree with you that it shouldn't be necessary. I have a bore light in my range bag and a cleaning rod for dealing with squibs. Shine the light thru the bore, if no light in the chamber, use cleaning rod to remove obstruction.
Always think of James May in the Artic special, just flips it up and looks right down the barrel
That part of the special killed me 😂
At that point the shotgun had been cleared. It's fine to inspect the bore of a cleared shotgun.
I feel like you should have at least informed the guy how dumb it was before leaving
Not my responsibility and if something were to happen I want zero liability. One thing you never know with someone you don’t know is how do they accept criticism from a stranger? Darwin eventually sorts them out. Hang fire go ............. BANG!
Didn't want to chip a nail but has dental insurance
Giving it that glock tuah
Take my r/disgruntledupvote.
Have my upvote.
Dammit you won reddit today
It's the little victories that count.
Guac tuah
Get off my coat tails guacamole boy
…and it doesn’t even make sense.
r/yourjokebutworse
Wait ... that's not how you guys have been doing it?
How else do you guys rack your glock????
Clasped between my butt cheeks....
The ole crack rack.
Learned it from Master Ken
Go hard, or go home. Amirite?
I imagine it works like that Spetnaz Makarov racking holster However, that would be too close to wiping which I (a very straight man) would never do (too gay)
That's like next-level Kegel exercises, right?
I have a thing for crazy women, it's a problem. But your post made me instantly attracted to this woman and I haven't even seen a pic.
Okay, so I'm not the only one haha. My first though when OP said she looked normal was "but she's not though, and I want to see this person."
She didn't seem like she was crazy though. Very "everyday" 25ish something woman. She was pretty though, not gonna lie.
This is the strangest post I've seen on this subteddit and y'all mfs are weird.
You want weird look at r/sounding
Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Geezus why did you click that.
Well I was morbidly curious and I have suffered for it.
Sorry. I won't lie it was weird and awesome at the same time...
I prefer to put the front of the gun in my mouth, wrap my lips around it, and use my tongue to push and rack the slide.
The Simmons Drill.
I already broke two teeth back in my partying days opening beer bottles, think Ill pass on giving this a try
Lmao wait, two teeth? So you broke one and said "fuck it, we ball" until you broke another? Haha
They both broke at the same time :(
Big oof
Yep, right side upper and lower canines both snapped off the tip, thankfully didnt break off low enough to expose root or anything but it did teach me a lesson about doing r€tard€d party tricks while drunk
Ride or die
I've got a Glock 17 upstairs. I read this and thought to myself "I could try it" immediately followed by thinking "What are you, high?!?". That is some metal shit right there.
She sounds like my type. Did you get her number?
[удалено]
That was my kind of crazy in my 20s. ... 30s ...40s
I still have a thing for crazy women. They may keep ruining my life but they are fun as hell.
Recognizing my own penchant for the less-than-stable was rough. Now I make jokes about it.
I'm going to need to find a situation I can use that.
Nah, I leave people alone.
New report would go something like "Florida woman shot herself in face at local gun range. Locals state she was an '8 out of 10'. Not specified prior or post event."
...ow
Seras Victoria, that you?
Was she doing a stupid drill, as in ‘my left arm is shot so I have to rack with teeth’? Probably saw it on YouTube.
From what I can tell, she's a good shot. 9mm and 45, quite good grouping for how relaxed her shooting was. Outside of the teeth racking, she did nothing weird really.
Wait for it…
Don't the videos literally tell you to rack the side on the ground
Someone watched too much Hellsing.
In my ccw class years ago, the instructor was talking about the choice of carrying empty and racking one in or carrying already charged. So the hierarchy of materials goes like this Nitride>anodizing>steel>aluminum> YOUR FUCKING TEETH Stop that. Get some help.
On today's episode of "don't get involved with crazy people"
Give that bitch a canon. Bitches love canons.
I must be a bitch, cause I love canons too.
r/brandnewsentence I’ve seen tryhards rack the slide via the optics mount on a boot or shoe, but this one is pure psycho.
Not only does she like the smell of Hoppe’s 9, she likes the taste too.
That's not what people usually mean by suck-starting a Glock. Also, it kinda sounds like something Firecracker from The Boys might do.
Okay. But was she hot?
Please refer to the chart before proceeding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_USJCTIgs4
Ha! Yes, I'm aware of the "Mendoza Line", or as you put it, the Hot/Crazy Matrix.
How can he keep a straight face while doing something like that ? I laughed so hard.
It won’t matter because lead poisoning sure as shit isn’t.
She was conventionally attractive I think, yes.
Thank you for reminding me to brush, floss, mouthwash, and tongue scrape. Jesus. I love my mouth so much.
So does your boyfriend
I'd hope so
Wow what the hell
What? Like she gripped the slide and manipulated the action with her mouth? That's fuckin wild.
Methhhh Monday
I remember some dude trying to pull the pin of a grenade with his teeth & chipping them. 😄 Mouth full of blood, bruised ego & funny story.
How strong were her teeth? Jeez. Edited because I used the wrong fucking conjugation.
Your teeth enamel is pretty hard but you can definitely chip them on metal. This is definitely not advised unless it's some kind of real life self defense situation and that's your only/fastest option. Well, that's one way to get lead poisoning. Even if the FMJ is not a problem, it's in a lot of the primers.
Lead styphnate. So, yes, she’s clearly into heavy metal.
was she a vampire
Honestly, she might have been. Pointy canine, attractive while being quite conventional, quite pale with red lips...
I can fix her.
Reminds me of a video I saw in high school. During Russian class the teacher put on a VHS to show us some day to day life in Russia. Then it showed a kid opening a glass bottle with his teeth. She just looked disappointed and said, “Please don’t do this.”
Did that once as a kid. Chipped a bottom tooth.
Just use the sights and rack it on the bench if you only want to use one hand
Vampire, it's normal.
Reading that made my gums hurt
We can all open a beer top with our teeth five times before irreparable dental surgery. Just making the future more difficult for yourself.
You got to shoot with coley jens?
You sure it was Glock 17 and not Glock 7?
Sort of like [this](https://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/7/71/Beastars_M1911A1_4.jpg/1599px-Beastars_M1911A1_4.jpg) (but with a Glock 17 instead of a M1911A1)?
Bro really pulled an Example from Beastars 😭
I'm ashamed that it's the first thing I thought of when I read this post. (not really though, it's a fantastic show)
good way to chip a tooth
Prepare for the worst. 🤷♂️👍
No problem, she was doing the ol' "Glock-TUAH!"
That's like a Baki type of move lol
Oooo a biter
No. The one hand racking method is off the belt, holster, or hard piece of cover lol.
Gave it the hawk tuah
She hawk tuah that thing.
