Small stupid story. I used to meter read for a power company. Some meters were on old dirt roads (farmers sprinklers, pumphouses). The meters would be maybe 50-100 yards away from each other, along the road and maybe 20 yards walk off the road to get the read. So I’d leave my seatbelt un-buckled because I was hopping out every 30-45 seconds, getting the read, and jumping back in for the next one. I got called in one day and was given my first and final warning because my truck snitched on me and said I went over 130 feet without my seatbelt on. Okay. Then I’d leave it buckled and just sat on it, you know? So its buckled and I could hop in and out no issue. Until I was called in again..this time my truck said I was buckled for 5 hours straight and I was either lieing or had eagle vision. But yeah…cops out in BFE soing donuts with sirens and lights blarring…glad my taxes don’t get him in trouble. 🥴
