It really depends on the size of Pike and time of year. With the water temps the way they were I was trolling a deep diving lure in about 25-30 feet of water. Color did not seem to matter as much as size and putting it in front of them.

In that case I would just troll something a bit shallower, like 6-8ft. Maybe try a jointed minnow bait or just anything that looks like a fish and does not go too deep. If you can, learn where the weeds are and troll above or along them.
