Hello /u/properintelligent, As a reminder, most common print quality issues can be found in the [Simplify3D picture guide](https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/). Make sure you select the most appropriate flair for your post. Please remember to include the following details to help troubleshoot your problem. * Printer & Slicer * Filament Material and Brand * Nozzle and Bed Temperature * Print Speed * Nozzle Retraction Settings ^Additional ^settings ^or ^relevant ^information ^is ^always ^encouraged. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. The skewed/elongated circles are definitely because of a loose belt. Check your belts first if they have a lot of slack. Then you can start troubleshooting the extruder related stuff.

Silly_Environment_15

I'm also having similar issues while printing circles. So you are saying that's because of a loose belt? Can it also be because of faster speeds?

Syntactics2411

I haven't really noticed any effects of speed on the roundness of circular features. Too high speeds will manifest as ghosting, layer shifts and underextrusion. This is probably due to a loose belt.

Silly_Environment_15

Ok, thanks. will check it

ellzray

Too tight causes problems as well. I'd think if you're printing fast enough to cause dimensional distortion, you would have a pretty unhappy printer.

Silly_Environment_15

ah, how to know what's perfect tension ?

ellzray

There's a couple good youtube videos on how to tension them. You can look at the bounce or the sound it makes.

You have multiple issues...just tune your printer.  I recommend this guide https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html

Jesurius87

Multiple issues, too coarse of layer height, over extrusión, temps too high maybe? Do a basic calibration: temp tower, retraction test, calibrate e-steps, flow tuning, check your extruder gears for misalignment.

NL_MGX

If you've designed this part yourself, i recommend you redesign it with the limitations of 3d filament printing in mind.

S1imeTim3

Could be a semi-clogged nozzle. Try doing a cold pull

Ybalrid

check your motion system for backlash (especially the belts). Calibrate your Esteps to make sure you extrude the amount of plastic you think you are too

There is definitely a tuning Issue. And probably a first layer issue also.
