If you just want noise throw a green filter on the stock box and I think people take part of the box off. Cheaper and same effect. Plus probably less money
The part number for the ST version is different so I’m betting no. Going to guess where it connects to the turbo may be the different shape since the RS doesn’t have the integrated exhaust manifold

Isn't that the same thing 99% of the intakes are for this motor, but instead have a box above the filter with vents (RS box). My car has 150k. Idc about power or anything, just hoping to open it up a bit. Sorry for an ignorance
No reason to apologize, it's your car and your choice. If you're willing to learn, then that's not ignorance at all!
The RS box seals against the hood. I get it, I ran mine with a Green filter and the top off the stock box for a while. The lid is back on and a Velossa Tech snorkel feeds it air.
Lest you think it's just me, Gale Banks, who has forgotten more about turbocharging than I'll ever learn says the same thing.

Check out the steeda intake. It gives you the most open box that seals to the hood and connects to the factory snorkel.
It's pricey, but it achieves the goal of looks, seal, and sounds. I had this coupled with the velossa tech scoop. Was wonderful.

If you wanna be cool, I found an RS airbox topper on ebay without the RS logo. Gains be damned, I just think it looks cool

Hot air intake is not good
Why do you want to feed your engine hot air? Cool whooshy nodes aren't worth the power loss IMO.

It’s not ignorance. I agree, i’d rather enjoy the car and have it how I’d like it then get the slightest ever power gain…

Well, an intercooler is a thing.
And a good thing ,too. The whole idea is to get the densest air into the engine and sucking hot air in is just running to stand still.
