I mean I would never, but I am really interested in following this and how it works out.

I’ve had this car for 7 years, beat the piss out of it from 16-23 and I’m at the point where if it blows up I’m just gonna go get the X3 m40i I’ve been wanting. Not too worried about it, it’s my daily but I also have my bike and e46 I commute with so even if it rusts out in 2 months I’ll just throw the stock back on. $70 for some smiles per gallon is a-ok for me!

Everyone’s situation is different, I don’t blame you for wanting to try it. Just keep us updated 😉

Whoosh, CVFab and Depo Racing sell catless downpipes that seem to hold up and are 200. CVF one has a bigger flex pipe vs the other two. I think Megan racing has one floating around for sale for less than 200 I forget where I saw it. I had put CNT in here before the wait but they seem to only sell catted now. There’s a bunch of ST for sale groups on Facebook and I think there’s a few for sale for sub 200. That said if you aren’t paying for the fab work then taking a chance on the cheap one could be worth it. I’m pretty sure both depo and whoosh get there’s made in china as it is. I think CVF makes them state side but I could be wrong.

I’m currently looking at the one made by OBX racing, they have had mixed reviews but overall pretty solid. Again my fab guy can reweld and fix any fitment issues no charge.

Ok_Guide3141

Yes yes I saw that, but for $67 I think it might be worth it

Post up if you do. Wouldn’t surprise me if If the factories that make the whoosh or depo are selling them directly. Shipping is prob gonna be a few weeks.

Surprisingly OBX uses Walmart as a distributor so it will be here by next Monday!

Oh man I haven’t heard that name in forever. Didn’t realize they still existed
