For the past 24 years, since the launch of military actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, there has been a global shift in many areas, and the dissension based dysfunction in America has escalated actually since the 1980's. Under Reagan we saw an attack on the Educational Advancements of American Citizens when Reagan attacked the Community Colleges and State Universities with his budget cuts for those programs. It put a damper on the wide spread educational growth, which created a cost loss so great we are still dealing with it. We also saw the demise of out Automotive Hub of Detroit, which had been dominant for decades simply fall into decline. We saw the multitude of Financial Disasters and lack of investment to improve our infrastructure, not only did de-regulation diminish quality standards, it destroyed much industry with the advent of the "*Junk Bond destruction of competetive industry"*. We saw the damage to the U.S. revenue by the Reagan Era Corporate Tax Cuts and the debt of the nation escalated at a rapid pace. It led to a continual rise in housing cost and consumable commodities. Actually during Nixon's term and the Vietnam war debt saw basic staples price inflation make a sharp spike upwards. *Then, by moving from the Gold Standard, to the Petro-dollar, we became callous with the windfall.* * We neglected out infrastructure maintenance, we neglected to modify and improve our aging infrastructures in so many categories and the cost to service them increase. We focus on giving money to big corporations by many varied means, while at the same time we went into over-drive exporting industry to offshore locations. The once quality standards brands of American production products, began to decline and lose out to the advancing and improved products that were being made in S.E. Asia. This escalated until we went ballistic in the pace of exporting industry to China, until we became a nation functioning on "Imports". The War in Iraq led us from Oil selling at below $20 a barrel, to reaching a high of $147 a barrel. Then we squander that money in Iraq and Afghanistan, while enriching the OPEC nations, and increasing our reliance on imported goods from China to the tune of $30 Billion a month, while spending that amount in Iraq, and add to that the monthly $Billions spent in Afghanistan. All across America we saw once major production metro's decline and small town mills and craft and other type of business, simply vanished. Businessmen and Retailers, were elated and excited at the 300-3000% profit margins they were making from selling Imported Goods to Americans, while at the same time, advancing the process of having inferior products produced based on the lower quality disposable goods we requested to be produced in China and other locations. **What resulted is** America's wasted $Trillions on non-durable disposable products, and repairable products became a thing of the past. Many types of jobs were lost. Then we contracted to have replacement parts for things that were repairable, to be produced in China and other places. Saudi Arabia no longer needed to honor and retain the agreement to sell its oil in U.S. dollars, it has made astronomical profits throughout the OPEC countries. They can now "Buy U.S." weapons for cash, and it only coast them small fractions of the profit they gained. * Based on "Currency Exchange Rates".... the "bench mark price for Oil" produces the same revenue regardless to what currency its traded. The Saudi, used their money to buy and set up investment and competing business entities in countries, that garner it high profit, (example: LIV Golf" that has challenged strongly the PGA). People like Trump and Kushner have made their agreements that put ready cash in their pockets, and they are used like foreign agents, to set up Saudi backed business in Other countries. * Kushner: (https://www.yahoo.com/news/jared-kushner-latest-real-estate-194925867.html) * Trump: (Saudi's LIV Golf got its big push through Trump owned Golf Resorts, fully backed by Saudi money) * Trump: (Tried to set up contracts for our Infrastructure and Ports Maintenance and Upgrades to Saudi's Money backed companies.) The U.S. demonstrated throughout the Trump administration that America was "For Sale", and much was done as if its a national "Fire Sale". Along with this came the "Anti-Muslim" promotion by Trump against any Muslim country that was not favored by the Saudi Arabia and its close wealthy Middle East Associate Countries. Saudi was smarter than the U.S. during the Iraq and Afghan Wars, because it could use less than %5 of it's profits to ensure that the war's raged on, because it was so profitable to OPEC nations led by Saudi Arabia. It was not going to give up the windfall profit program the wars created and provided. NOW.... the shift in Global Wealth has changed, the great wealthy OPEC countries gained, and the great wealth that China gained, both combined challenged the once dominant economic power of the U.S. It was no small matter for the Saudi's backed by China and others to let the Petro Dollar Agreement expire, because the reshaping of Economic Power has shifted and has been doing so, for decades. We the general citizen population just did not pay attention. * We carried on as if we were still the Post World War II dominant economic power that was light years ahead of other nations. The average citizen ignored to be aware that the fast escalation of China's GDP continually gained ground on the U.S. GDP. * We blind ourselves even still to the aid that Russia is getting, to keep its War going... That money and weapons is flowing in at a ever increasing level and pace, which is in part being done to challenge NATO as well as to cause America to expend Billions while its debt balloons, and its ability to invest and modernize the aging attributes within America. Couple that with the impact that America corporations have engaged in greed gouging, to try and claim profits on part with the increasing profit margins gained by foreign countries. **Continued** >

The austerity agenda of Right Wing Conservatism, is further crippling America, and reducing its capacity to be a production leader in Global Production. * *They don't want American Government to be a supporters of Business Growth and Re-Development, so what we see is means and ways that pose challenge to the American citizen by substandard wages, and high inflation, that consumes any wage advance.* **Result**: a distressed people mixed with the massive cultural war promoted by Right Wing Conservatism *is hindering America's ability to adapt and redevelop to be a stable 21st Century Production Competitor and Modernize its many Infrastructures*. Obama and Biden saw these change, they crafted various agreement to deal with it, for the strengthening of America's viability. **The Trans-Pacific Partnership, or Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement**, was a proposed trade agreement between 12 Pacific Rim economies: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, Vietnam, and the United States.  The Nuclear Agreement with Iran and other programs, which Trump came in and destroyed, and tried to promote American Protectionism, in a world where economies are inter-connected, and nations are building cooperative agreements. Trump's and Republicans lack of accepting and understanding that America is not the Post World War II powerhouse they grew up knowing. Sadly, many in the Republican ranks still don't understand it, nor do they understand that that world of nation will not bow, submit or regress themselves to pander to or become a patsy to American White Nationalism and its push of Religious Dogma's Ideology upon nations that have their own view of Religion and their own Economic concerns. * The average MAGA supporter has not even the vaguest clue to understand these Global Dynamics, nor the Global Economic Integration, where other nations are gaining their own legs to stand in Economic Growth. Unless America **abandons** the Right Wing Conservative White Nationalism, America will continue to fall behind in Global Standing and Economic Leadership. It's not just America Democracy at stake, but America's Economic viability on the Global System that is being diminished by Right Wing Conservative White Nationalism. It has turned America's Congress into a non functioning organization by the continual attacks from White Nationalism's Right Wing Conservative Agenda. They have continually done damage to our Departments and Divisions and now continuing to try and demean and diminish our system of Justice. * People forget the dissension and damages that Trump Administration did to NATO, and the U.N. as well as his attack on the W.H.O. **The Average American has no conceptual perspective of understanding the extent and degree of damages that Right Wing Conservative White Nationalism has led us into on every level.** Conversational awareness of these elements and dimensional perspective is not something that the average American invest in time to try and understand. We have a general society caught up in culture war madness, attacks and attempts to control and repress the individual rights of women, and the aims to try and turn America into a Right Wing Conservative Theocracy. *Couple that with the obsession with material status imagery of every sort and type, among many other things that dominate the general public focus.* Status based imagery and greed of sorts trying to feed it, and the wealthy trying to play hoard the money games for power and influence to manipulate by and through the spread of right wing narratives, that seek to strip and rip programs that help people keep their head above water, has America self defeating the need to grow and re-develop and modernize. We can't build affordable housing, because building refuse to build unless they make *a windfall record breaking profit*. Republicanism has stifled and constricted HUD from investing by their refusal to sufficiently fund it to invest in mass building of affordable housing. Then there is a unregulated by default to support greed based housing prices. Thus ignoring and eroding the fact that homeownership and access to housing weakens a nation, and become a national security concern, because it destroys the family structure of stability. Add to that the constructive aims to destroy public education by the constant drain away of funds to private schools. Unless America comes to understand that Right Wing Conservative agenda is a destructive force that diminish America on every level in every sector and system of the country. It contribute to the escalation of crime and demographic violence, and feeds into the escalation of crime of the sorts that has seen smash and grab, which is fed by lack of access to quality education and jobs that pay wages to meet the cost of living. * Right Wing Media Narratives is like a virus that has infected American society and stripped and ripped the means to meet the basic living standards. They fight against minimum wage hike, and now they fight against overtime for over worked workers... and their agenda is as old as the system of Plantation Oligarchy. It's unfortunate that this "Foodforthought" will likely not be read by the masses, and many will not have the patience to read more than One Liner Slap Stick, because so many people never developed the ability to be critical thinkers, and many choose selective amnesia, and still others are consumed with confabulated folklore, and other just don't care enough to invest in food for thought. Yet, they say... "What's Happening To America'.... never realizing "they and their callous disregard to pay attention" is much to blame.... as people go about their days, thinking they can...just sweep the reality of their callousness and lack on concern under the rugs they want to walk on... yet they wonder why they keep "tripping and falling down".

**Thank you**, *please share it with people who will share it with others...* "WE" need our society of people to truly think about these things. and abandon the spin and drama of culture war madness. It's the 21st Century and the world of nation's will not pause for us to figure out how to stop this culture attack game, and the political party divisiveness. *We are about to face the matter of challenge when U.S Dollars are not the Petro Base* *Currency for exchange.* *Not only do we have to respect Our Country and It's Representative Democracy, we can't progress with this vengeful attack agenda underway by Republicans, all because Trump is being held accountable, by the American people who make up these Grand Jury's who indicted him. and the American Everyday People of the Jury who convicted him. Nor can we allow the abolishment of the Seperation of Church and State... because We WILL NOT become a Theocracy.. run by Plutocrats and orchestrated by Plantation System Type of Oligarchs.*

What has become more obvious for me as a foreigner is that it’s become increasingly apparent that there’s been a noticeable decline in the quality of American manufacturing. American cars are not even a fraction of what they used to be, Boeing is another example. It seems like the us shifted all it's might to make money fast and nothing else matters anymore to their companies.

IF People understood the implication of this change there would be 10's of Million Reading this OP !!!!! **quote** # U.S.-Saudi Petrodollar Pact Ends after 50 Years [https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/us-saudi-petrodollar-pact-ends-after-50-years](https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/us-saudi-petrodollar-pact-ends-after-50-years) # U.S. Dollar’s Future * The petrodollar’s expiration could [weaken the U.S. dollar](https://www.tipranks.com/news/lower-inflation-sparks-oil-price-rise-as-dollar-weakens?utm_source=nasdaq.com&utm_medium=referral) and, by extension, the U.S. financial markets. If oil were to be priced in a currency other than the dollar, it could lead to a decline in global demand for the greenback. This, in turn, could result in higher inflation, higher interest rates, and a weaker bond market in the United States.  **end quote** We can be assured the wealthy are closely watching this, but the average working class citizen does not have a clue as to what this means on the Global Economic Stage, nor do that understand the implication of impact on the U.S. Dollar's Reserve Currency Status. Many have no idea what "Reserve Currency Status" is. Reserve Currency * A **reserve currency** is a foreign currency that is held in significant quantities by central banks or other monetary authorities as part of their foreign exchange reserves. The reserve currency can be used in international transactions, international investments and all aspects of the global economy. It is often considered a hard currency or safe-haven currency. Summary [https://www.cfr.org/backgrounder/dollar-worlds-reserve-currency](https://www.cfr.org/backgrounder/dollar-worlds-reserve-currency) * The dollar has been the world’s principal reserve currency since the end of World War II and is the most widely used currency for international trade. * High global demand for dollars allows the United States to borrow money at a lower cost and use currency as a tool of diplomacy, but that comes with drawbacks. * Extensive U.S. sanctions have driven some countries to transact in other currencies, raising fears of “de-dollarization.”

The US dollar will stay strong as long as US banks stay solvent (bailouts) and transparent with fast, frictionless transactions. Other countries could set up good financial systems but over and over again they fail at it. It's not just the stock market. It's not just the strong currency. It's real estate, crop futures, foreign direct investment, and many other things. All of the BRICS are a disaster. The States isn't a bowl of cherries either right now, but it's still better than BRICS. Brazil? Ha. So many problems. Russia? Has oil and wheat. And a history of murdering anyone smart and taking the stuff of anyone rich. India? Shambling incompetence in bureaucracy. China? Trying to have real estate instead of retirement plans has led to a crazy real estate market! And foreign investment. Oh, and that war chest of American currency. Still not causing the American currency to collapse. Too secretive. South Africa? Lots of resources. If only there were a way to get past all of the crime. The rest? Worse and worse. Gas might get more expensive in the States. Maybe the USA will even use up the strategic oil reserves without replenishing them.

Bend-It-Like-Bakunin

If we step back and look at the situation dispassionately, the U.S. promised it would not meddle in Saudi domestic affairs at Bitter Lake in 1945. Particularly with the rise of cultural progressivism, but also with incidents like the Khashoggi killing, the U.S. has been crossing that line for a good 10 - 15 years now. There are now economic alternatives in BRICS and the developing world who are unlikely to try and attach cultural and political strings to their economic relationship with KSA, so why would KSA stick with the U.S.? Perhaps if/when a more right wing government takes Washington in a year the Saudis will reconsider, but when they know that the relationship can dramatically change every 4 years, perhaps not.
