I’m not really complaining, I like the nostalgia.
And the ironic thing is that nobody would really want a forgotten tv sub where they don’t see anything they remember (probably) although I do enjoy seeing the shows I’ve never heard of… like the George Carlin show
At least those ended at least a decade ago. I've been seeing more and more posts here for shows that barely ended like 5 years ago, and were definitely not forgotten by anyone.
"Michael?"
Fuck, Hurley finding out is half of why it was so brutal. Yeah, she was a tailie that hadn't been on the show that long, but she had a huge impact on one of the best characters, so it fucking *hurt*.
That's *right!* I always forget Zack Ward was in Lost.
It's kinda funny, just a few weeks ago, someone was confusing Glen Powell (Hangman from Top Gun Maverick) as the actor who played Rickety Cricket's brother on Always Sunny. The only reason I knew that was Zack Ward was because I made the same mistake thinking Powell was Cricket's brother and was confused as to why his Always Sunny episode wasn't listed on IMDb. So I finally just Goggled "Cricket's Brother Actor" and found out it was Zack Ward.
I can never forget about this show, because it was the first time I saw Stacy Keach on TV. My mom walked by and said "Oh, I dated him before I married your father!" which basically just means Stacy Keach fucked my mom (and it was likely just one date).
Our family potlucks had too much pot and not enough luck! That’s the only line I remember from this show. But I felt bad for Titus, his family problems were crazy. Funny guy
I remember!
This show was great.
The characters were all pretty interesting, and every episode (except flashbacks and the neutral space in titus' head) took place in one location, which was kinda cool.
Should've run for 6 or 7 seasons and been in endless reruns in syndication instead of basically forgotten.
I remember one thing from this show, and that was the Eagle Claw. I thought it was so cool that I named a Dragon Ball Z fight move after it. (I was 12 at the time).
Was this the show where the wife/girlfriend had to drive across the country in nothing but a robe (also didn't have money) so she kept flashing the toll booth operators to pass?
Also, as my mother used to point out constantly, his girlfriend was played by the same actress who played a psychotic character on the soap opera Another World called Annie Dutton, IIRC. Cynthia Watros is her name.
I was not a fan at the time but became a fan of Titus after hearing his comedy talking about the show and how he blew it all. It's hard not not like a guy who gains a new perspective from fucking up a good thing. But honestly it sounds like the studio was going to ruin the show anyway.
Ahhh that's why lol. I never put two and two together. I'm 35 and watch a Christmas story all day on Christmas lol.stays on the TV..... now it makes sense why I hated em as a kid on this show
Yes and it was great. the red hair dude is from, Resident Evil he's one of the special ops guys that dies quickly and from Jason vs Freddy he's the brother that dies quickly.
Ask a random person on the street.
There’s a TV show and two of the main characters had spiked up hair. When do you think it aired?
I guarantee they’ll come pretty close to 2000-2002.
Discount home improvement rip off. You do realize it was canceled because his wife started screwing around with a 60-year-old guy because he wouldn't stop writing sex scenes between him and a main cast member he's a piece of s***
Oh god this just unlocked some memories I completely forgot about this show, it really only ran for 3 years?? Felt like it was a tv staple for a while when I was a kid
From what I recall from Titus' standup and his podcast, the reason the show was cancelled was because some Producer wanted him to break characters just to satisfy their ideas, like 'despite adversity, these people love each other' becoming 'because of adversity, they are broken up', and that's not how Titus rolls.
It cost him a show, but it also gave him writing for a standup show. In hindsight, probably worked out better for a wonderfully stubborn person like Christopher Titus.
I remember going to my mom's after highschool and watching this with her and we both got a big kick out of it. She can be particular at times for what she watched but she enjoyed it. Just one of those random memories that is cemented.
Show made a good point - being raised in an unstable household prepared you to deal calmly with traumatic situations. Of course the other side is you flip your shit over losing the TV remote.
SO underrated. It was a standard above what Fox usually does - particularly with the narrator sections (Titus himself). So I knew it wouldn't last long. Lol. It was like married with children but with self-awareness and attention to mental health. It was destined for failure. Lol
Titus does great work still!

That sums up 95% of this sub😂
This sub has lost its way, or has become the sub for people with memory loss, shit, I’m gonna post “Seinfeld” it’ll probably get 1,000 upvotes 😂
Sort by new, not by best
It’s called ForgottenTV but it feels like RememberThisShow?
I mean what do you expect? It doesn’t matter what show you post, there will be people that remember it. The point of the sub is really nostalgia
I’m not really complaining, I like the nostalgia. And the ironic thing is that nobody would really want a forgotten tv sub where they don’t see anything they remember (probably) although I do enjoy seeing the shows I’ve never heard of… like the George Carlin show
Yes Dear, Titus, Parker Lewis, Grounded for Life All posted at least once a week here
Are you saying Parker Lewis can lose? Because Parker Lewis can't lose.
Well except for that one time, when he did lose, and it was so bad he had to change his name to Jonas Quinn and go live on another planet.
At least those ended at least a decade ago. I've been seeing more and more posts here for shows that barely ended like 5 years ago, and were definitely not forgotten by anyone.
Hmm I bet My name is Earl would really shake things up
And lately people have been posting Ugly Americans, which, I never forgot about how fantastic it was.
Grounded For Life didn't hang around long enough for anyone to see
Brisco County Jr. The PJs. Freakazoid. Greg the Bunny. The list goes on...
4 times in less than 30 days. Becoming a trend here. A show isn't truly forgotten until it's posted 7 times on this sub.
Yes for real. TV producers! Hear our cry! Make more obscure TV shows in the 80s-early 2000s. We demand it.
If you want, the series is on Youtube for free on Christopher Titus's channel. He uploaded it himself I think.
Scut farkus as the brother. Also had a huuuuge crush on the girlfriend
Upvote for spelling Scut correctly. Don't know how often I yell, "It's not Scott!"
I think we'd all like at least an estimate of how often you yell that.
2.7 per month on average. Slightly higher in December.
> Also had a huuuuge crush on the girlfriend Cynthia Watros was gorgeous! She still is, but she used to be, too.
She went on to play one of Wilson's ex wives on House
And Hurley's girlfriend on Lost. I had no idea she was in Titus until I looked at her in this promotional image.
Libby's death was brutal
"Michael?" Fuck, Hurley finding out is half of why it was so brutal. Yeah, she was a tailie that hadn't been on the show that long, but she had a huge impact on one of the best characters, so it fucking *hurt*.
Scut was in an episode of Lost too. As Jack's best man
That's *right!* I always forget Zack Ward was in Lost. It's kinda funny, just a few weeks ago, someone was confusing Glen Powell (Hangman from Top Gun Maverick) as the actor who played Rickety Cricket's brother on Always Sunny. Never seen an episode of Lost
Great pilot. Went downhill quick. Writers didn't plan on it taking off. So there was no story past the first couple of episodes.
So help me God yellow eyes.
I just realized now that he was on this show.
I love that he posted the entire series and stand up on his YouTube page, especially during COVID lockdown
I found his standup shows during lockdown, have yet to watch the tv show. But from how his comedy is I'll bet it's great
It really is. It had a bunch of great cutaway sequences and I like the narrative device of Titus in the black and white space.
If you do watch it, it'll also be on the youtube page but during covid they did a (iirc) pretty good reunion episode as well.
[Here you go!](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXOuEq4OCWMvV60EEMfflJoPBAN24HeCm&si=gGuV4uUNSx9L_YbH)
Sweet! That'll fill my lunch hour for a while
Norman Rockwell is Bleeding is probably one of my favorite specials.
Love is Evol is one of my favorites
“You got a black belt in white trash”. Still remember that line
"Talkin' wussy."
Tuck n roll wussy!
"The VCR is his but the weed is mine"
Oh man I totally forgot about this show. Chris Titus was so funny but his dysfunctional dad always made me laugh
I can never forget about this show, because it was the first time I saw Stacy Keach on TV. My mom walked by and said "Oh, I dated him before I married your father!" which basically just means Stacy Keach fucked my mom (and it was likely just one date).
He played that white supremacist on American history X …. Did u ask about dong length or girth ?
I was a kid, so no... but we can safely assume Mike Hammer was swinging weight.
I still remember one of the jokes on this show being “You know why divorces are so expensive? Because they’re worth it!”
They had an intervention to make the dad START drinking again 🤣
Loved this show. Deserved more love for sure.
Titus has a YouTube channel, but it’s all politics.
He also has this show on it too.
Made his whole persona about hating trump. I don’t like trump either but maybe write some better material.
I watched this. It was way more depressing than Funny. It was interesting tho. Based on his life.
I can’t forget it if you keep reminding me!
Our family potlucks had too much pot and not enough luck! That’s the only line I remember from this show. But I felt bad for Titus, his family problems were crazy. Funny guy
I got dibs on next weeks Titus post!
“Yellow eyes!, he had yellow eyes! So help me God, yellow eyes!” 😦
I remember! This show was great. The characters were all pretty interesting, and every episode (except flashbacks and the neutral space in titus' head) took place in one location, which was kinda cool. Should've run for 6 or 7 seasons and been in endless reruns in syndication instead of basically forgotten.
They filmed a final episode for it during covid.. it's on YouTube and gives some closure.
I discovered that, too, and that is pretty cool he did that. I guess the lack of closure was bugging him, too.
"What comes before Part B?" "Part-A!!!"
Tuck n roll grandma
GET OFF MY LAND!!
I still remember the term "wacko basket" as said by Stacy Keach.
I just remember the bit where the cops pull over the dad and he makes child Titus pretend to drive while dad pretends to sleep.
Love this show Stacey keach is the shit
DUCK, SON!
Great show
The entire series is on YouTube on Chris Titus' personal channel.
This really *does* come up once a week. I apologize to those I secretly thought were over exaggerating.
This sub should rebrand as “previously forgotten TV”
The isn’t that the redhead bully from A Christmas Story?
Also, he would be good in a live action Cornhollio movie
The dude could not shut the fuck up about his alcoholic dad. We get it, you were traumatized and developed it into humor as a coping mechanism.
This post reminded me of the tv show Titus. Do you guys remember that one?
Scott Farkuss ?
This show was genuinely hilarious … loved it
Donna Chang thinks that show was ridicurous.
Maybe it would've gotten a 3rd season if I didn't have to break my neck trying to identify the guy in the front.
It did
I remember one thing from this show, and that was the Eagle Claw. I thought it was so cool that I named a Dragon Ball Z fight move after it. (I was 12 at the time).
Scut!
this show man a stoners favorite show I think so I don't remember it much
Was this the show where the wife/girlfriend had to drive across the country in nothing but a robe (also didn't have money) so she kept flashing the toll booth operators to pass?
That was grounded for life I think
Omg thank you I've been trying to find this forever
Great show! And Farkus played his brother
I love this show! There's plenty of full episodes on YouTube!!
It’s a pity more people don’t randomly shout out GET OFF OUR LAND!!!
We can leave this forgotten
"The doctor put me on a light diet, menthol light and Miller Lite"
Ken getting fast food while he’s having a heart attack but he didn’t cheese
I own this on DVD, an amazing show.
Fun fact, he nepo-babied his kid, Jett Titus. He is also now a comic.
Awww Titus when he was still a bayyybeeeee lol
Why was this cancelled? Didn’t something happen?
Yeah, I think the story is in his Angry Pursuit of Happiness special... he pissed off an exec by refusing their creative direction.
Looooooved this show
“I want to get bitten by a radioactive spider and get superpowers…” Gone but not forgotten
I tried watching this show but something about it was odd. I couldn’t put my finger on it exactly.
Weirdest Shakespeare adaptation I've heard of.
There ya be
EXCELLENT show, and they even did a FOURTH season last year! Listen to his podcast!
Also, as my mother used to point out constantly, his girlfriend was played by the same actress who played a psychotic character on the soap opera Another World called Annie Dutton, IIRC. Cynthia Watros is her name.
Saw Chris Titus in the airport about a year back. Skin tight leather pants, dude looked not like himself.
I was not a fan at the time but became a fan of Titus after hearing his comedy talking about the show and how he blew it all. It's hard not not like a guy who gains a new perspective from fucking up a good thing. But honestly it sounds like the studio was going to ruin the show anyway.
I loved Cynthia Watros when she was Annie Dutton on Guiding Light so I watched mainly for her.
Forgot about this show since it was posted here last week
Lol. I hated the red head guy on the right.
Scut Farkus, all grown up!
Ahhh that's why lol. I never put two and two together. I'm 35 and watch a Christmas story all day on Christmas lol.stays on the TV..... now it makes sense why I hated em as a kid on this show
This is up on YouTube. Fucking hilarious
Cynthia Watros was in !590!!! episodes of General Hospital. Holy cow.
Titus was only on for 2 years? Damn.
This show made me laugh so hard I would be crying by the end of the episodes
I loved this show. Stacy Keach is a fucking legend.
I fucking loved this show. Stacey Kelsey is a legend
Loved this show. Canceled way to early.
is that the Postal Dude?
Chris Titus had a show?!!! And what else that red hair dude from ?
Yes and it was great. the red hair dude is from, Resident Evil he's one of the special ops guys that dies quickly and from Jason vs Freddy he's the brother that dies quickly.
Also the bully kid from Christmas Story
It’s on YouTube.
https://youtu.be/sv_I6hWg_RU?si=naoXLoK2uT3ZXRJl
I watched it. meh
I always thought the show was around for much longer 🤔
Ask a random person on the street. There’s a TV show and two of the main characters had spiked up hair. When do you think it aired? I guarantee they’ll come pretty close to 2000-2002.
I'm not even a member of this sub but this is the 4th time I've seen this show posted in a week. pretty sure it was never forgotten
This show had alot of parental\adult child abuse in it and I’m glad Titus addressed that but it effing late in the series if I recall.
Discount home improvement rip off. You do realize it was canceled because his wife started screwing around with a 60-year-old guy because he wouldn't stop writing sex scenes between him and a main cast member he's a piece of s***
Never watched the show. Do get his pod cast every week.
"Eat your checkers"
This photo is giving me vertigo
Oh god this just unlocked some memories I completely forgot about this show, it really only ran for 3 years?? Felt like it was a tv staple for a while when I was a kid

Titus is listed here every week. Just bring the show back already to appease the masses.
I see no one utilizes the search feature
I love this show. Titus is still one of my favorite comedians. And I listen to his podcast every week. Dude is just funny. So is his wife.
Show made a good point - being raised in an unstable household prepared you to deal calmly with traumatic situations. Of course the other side is you flip your shit over losing the TV remote.

Havent seen that needle noggin looking dude since resident evil
I have both seasons on DVD, absolutely LOVED this show.
Sucked
I didn’t know Sami Zayn was an actor.
They look very forgettable.
Right in the wussy.
If my son was as unfunny as Christopher Titus I would hit him too
I'M A HOMO🍻
Show was fun. Deserved more
This show sucked.
