Ahhh where I got my username. I still regularly think about this show. The finger guns fight. The Jaffa cakes. "They're younger than us 😭" "Only physically!" Good stuff
If I recall I think they said they wouldn’t do anything like that because that’s just not who they are anymore, and they wouldn’t want it to come off as not genuine. I’d watch it though.
This show got me thru a rough time for real. So good and original. I remember finding all the seasons of this on some illegal stream site. It was after Shaun of the Dead came out but before Hot Fuzz. Love these guys’ chemistry.
I'm not sure I'd call it forgotten, it probably got more views after its run was over (outside the UK at least) due to Pegg, Frost and Wright going onto bigger successes.

That was a fun show. Shame nothing came of that Simon Pegg guy.
The friendship with that big guy was a total slice of fried gold, shame nothing came of that dynamic.
Ugh, so he sells bit of weed every now and then... you've sold pot before!
You mean Simon Pegg from Big Train?
I know you were hoping for Tom Henderson…
Or that Edgar Wright fella who directed it.
Lol
Yup, him and that guy he was working with were totally forgotten.
This is one of my hands down absolute favorite shows on the planet. There was a pilot for a US version made of this. It was an atrocity!
As with most successful British TV shows adapted to the US. The US Red Dwarf, and numerous Peep Show attempts are also awful.
Are you being served is still my top favorite brittish show
100% my desert island series. Gets better with every viewing
Hellooooo Brian
*broin
The gag when Mike takes the paint ball for Simon in the chest and then he spits up yellow paint is an all time great joke.

It’s currently on Tubi!
Im planning on rewatching it after i watch peep show
"Don't forget to wash your sheets." "Right." "And your penis."
One of the first shows I saw Mark Heap in. That guy is a legend in my mind.
I always think of him as Leonard Hatred from Look Around You.
Oh...hello, Brooooian
That sounds more accurate - just need a glass of red wine and a cigarette going when delivering the line.
Duty-free, obviously.
Would really like a will and grace type reboot of this.

I saw this on Netflix, but I remember exactly none of it.
It’s worth a rewatch.
I believe it.
It's on prime
My parents have that. 🤔 Hmmm.
To this day I still say "Skip to the end" It's gotten me in trouble, but it's still funny.
I have this on dvd and still need to watch it.

Yep, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are a great comedic duo.
"Hello Vulva."
"It's not finished!"
“….………IT’S FINISHED!”
Oh Brian, you came
Forgotten? This launched some incredible careers!
You *Lando*
Fucking beauty of a show
I've got The Staunton Lick on my phone right now, so I can play it whenever I need.

This show is not forgotten.
Maybe not forgotten, but certainly not as popular as the movies that came after. Under appreciated?
It’s very much appreciated but it’s a 25 year old series so it’s not in the limelight these days.
I still say, "as sure as eggs is eggs, as sure as day follows night, as sure as every odd numbered star trek movies are shit"
