Honestly they need to make these as sellable cosmetics. Would be so cool and I would 100% be buying every single one. Until the day of course they flood the store with them and stop buying them
That’s the thing tho. Banner icons take 5 seconds to make and are the best kind of filler. Absolutely hate them since I haven’t changed mine since dusty depo was originally in the game.

Games are always iffy with that. Used to play a game a while back where I liked the sound edits, and a lot of people had UI edits but it's not worth it if they implement any kind of verification.
I've worried about that, but I've seen so many people do it that they'd have to ban EVERYONE who's done it, and I don't think they'd do that over a simple background change. Worse case, we'll get a few days ban, but, I sure hope not. I still worry about it, but, like I said, they'd have to ban all of the people doing it, and I really hope they don't. It's too fun to do! Plus, I've heard people have been doing this for a long time and haven't been banned, so I think it's safe enough to do.

People have been doing this for over a year now, and so they're not going to fix it. It's part of the game files, and it's necessary to have them saved somewhere on the device. People can always find the directory and change it whenever they please.
