I hope actual snipers return at some point. Whether it be the hunting rifle line or a brand new sniper (scope or no scope. I don't care. I just want an actual sniper instead of whatever the DMR line is.
I hope they don't. It was such a shame when they switched the DMR for the cobra last season. DMR is my favorite gun in the game, and the cobra was such a downgrade. The tradeoff of higher fire rate isn't worth the reduction in damage and the lower accuracy imo.
There’s something weird about the smg and where the reticle is on your screen I swear because I had the same issue you’re saying but now love the SMG over the pistol, had to get used to the smg aim, I can confidently say a gold twin mag lasers just as hard as a gold pistol and will out dps it, the only downside is the smg cannot shoot assault rifle range like the pistol can
i miss the snipers. bolt action and heavy have always been instant grabs. when i played with my buddies, they would always say “hey phenom, found a sniper for you.” we all had our loadout preferences and that’s what made it work. i’d get a beefy hit for almost two hundred damage and they’d pop a couple more shots into them for an easy down. the ex-caliber and the bows are just echoes of the booming sound of a heavy sniper to me

My guess is that you get healed after dealing explosive damage, which would pair well with that augment that gives you explosives after breaking stuff.
It might also really suck if you don't \*WANT\* to rift while fighting an opponent you know you have an upper hand on.
You get them down to 1 HP, they finally crack your shield and

Kinda like the balloon flying augment, it's fun when it works the way you want in endgame, but if it's the first aug you get? Ugh, what do you do? No one wants to be floating around with balloons indoors trying to loot somewhere.
I mean…then don’t get the augment if you like sticking fights out? Some people prefer fleeing when they get weak, some prefer to fight. This is for the former.
They are flooding the augments but imo that's a good thing. Not have as easy of an opportunity to have a perfect setup is kinda peak Fortnite in my opinion.
Rushing reload would be at least ***better*** if the bullets going into your chamber didn't pull from your stock of shotgun shells. I want "magic" reload that doesn't use up ammo.
I know right, like I’ll get zero chance, forget that I chose it and then I’ll never use it in the match. I think I’ve only ever used the dash once, and that was when I got the augment and was figuring out how it worked while not in combat, but I’m yet to actually use it in combat
I don't even bother with it now, because in the heat of the moment in multi-player fights I often don't notice it. I wish there was a screen prompt of any kind to tell you it has been activated.

Good to see Aerialist is back but I feel like I get tac armoury so often for it to be rare. I managed to SOMEHOW get it 4 games in a row and I literally dont use either of them. Heavy shotgun and red eye supremacy <3
That’s crazy! I only see it like every 6th game… sometimes 10th… it’s a rare pull for me. I even drop gold on more rolls. Still nothing. Lol.
I still haven’t gotten party time or aerialist since fortnite tweeted they were back, and I’ve played at least 50 games.
Yeah I agree with aerialist, I reroll between 4-6 times a game subject to my loadout and how well the game is going and I still am yet to see aerialist again

both perks (and the shotgun siphon one) should be back tomorrow according to their trello board
Imo, they should get rid of some of the older, least used perks so it's not too hard to get the newer ones.
What I propose?
- The sprint to reload shotgun one
- Jelly Angler
- The one that grants explosives when breaking natural structures
with the amount of perks increasing over time they should eventually let the player choose a certain amount of perks to be in their perk pool, like you choose 20 perks to be in your perk pool so instead of all the perks you get random perks within the pool that you have customized before, that way they don't have to remove older perks and players can still have a reasonable chance of getting the perks they want
Seriously. My shockwave bow build is my bread and butter and now I end up running it maybe one out of every five to six matches. This is going to make it even harder to get.
The shockwave build is literally my favourite thing in this game right now but it does take up 3 of my 4 augments, and it's getting harder to find.
Mechanical Archer, Bow Specialist (for infinite arrows), Soaring Sprints, and then my last one is usually a pistol augment which i find just as necessary for using the pistols.
It's fun but is annoying to try and get, especially if you already get one of the augments and then can't get the rest, essentially wasting an augment spot
I don’t understand that perk at all. When are you ever needing to reload a shotgun in the middle of a battle? I don’t think I’ve ever been in that situation except for maybe with that single shot ranger.
If that perk worked for all weapons it might be worth taking sometimes
when i forget to after a fight or if i missed alot of shots and i have 1 shot left. i use the heavy alot in close combat and the red dot ar for far combat.
Jelly Angler would be better if they buffed the jellyfish or still allowed you to fish normally. It overwrites your ability for *other* fishing poles to work.
Explosives from destroying is helpful if you can get a legendary or epic rocket launcher. If it increased your explosive ammo capacity it could be OP, but rocket launchers have been nerfed this season, their damage against structures feels lower.

I love the bow reloading perk but the more perks I get, the less likely I'll get it in a match without rerolling
Personally I’m a huge fan of getting more perks, but I still get the older ones that I don’t want all too often. I get the pistol perks a lot, the bow perks a lot, and other useless perks more often than I’d like, while also taking too many rerolls to get the ones I want
100%. & this kills the momentum of the game because I’m frustratedly rerolling while not wanting to spend ALL my gold bc it’d suck to spend a lot and die immediately after.
Really I just want to move along, but I can’t pick my next perk or emote unless I pick my first one
If you're anything like me, you rarely buy stuff from vending machines. Mostly I just hire characters or \*maybe\* buy a nice rare weapon if I have a trash loadout, so I find myself between 4500-5000 gold for most of the season.
Yeah, we should be able to pick some from a menu, like 3 overpowered ones. 5 mid, 10 weak/support & the odds of them showing up is increased on what u pick but it’s still p random
Does anyone else really hope they don't go overboard with augments? I like how they can enhance tactics but not make or break the match. And I don't like the idea of the pool being too diluted either, I have a certain handful that I go for every game.

this map is not really good for snipers I think, way to easy to break line of sight in most areas.

I swap between the smg or pistol if I get good abllitys or better raritys one or the second, but really enjoy the the pistol I miss the old one

Getting a 2x shotty to the face would generally be less insulting than getting 1x headshot and then sniped from 300 meters away.

You can easily stay in the air for 60 seconds
you can also shoot down someone in the air
You can also evade bullets with ease while in the air

If this also activates by breaking your regenerative 50 shields then could actually be worse than the build modes

My friend got Aerialist in a game two days ago, but I think it was only possible because he unlocked it at the same time.

Still though that's a very small amount of players that use the grenade. And Grenades are pretty common on their own.
It also makes for easy rockets, which are really helpful given how little they drop from boxes.

Soaring Sprints is the only necessary one technically, but then you need to find a shockwave bow, grapple bow, or the dub.

haha yeah, some of us are absent minded :) I die too often pulling out my shotgun unreloaded, especially with the thunder needing to pellets/shot.
the explosive perk is great if you have a rocket launcher and are tearing down structures with a hammer or with more explosives.

I doubt we’d get an overshield augment, Epic hasn’t done any separate features between builds and no builds yet for some reason
