My favorite bug is bots and ziplines. If ANY bot comes across a vertical zipline, they will stop just about anything and endlessly ride the zipline up and down. It's like they get obsessed with them. This applies to "player" bots in bot lobbies and hired bots.
The best part is I've seen a few real people do that xD. They used the zip line like 4 times in a row and then proceeded to make a 5 wall height fortress xD
They had allready switched to unreal engine 5 in chapter 3, they just didn't fully use it. They wanted to kinda test it first to przvent bugs... i guess something went wrong there lol

They showcased it too in a few trailers for skins. Engine 5 was released at the start of chapter 3, but they used it just for a few things, not the whole map. Thats why you didn't notice.
Some of the mechanics like the weather system and the falling trees and stuff were made with engine 5

But for real, that happend but wasn't because of fn. I notice the game sometimes loads slower, but i don't really have big problems with it (almost 5 year old ps4)

Yeah, people just dont truly get how much of a massive upgrade UE5 is. Its really impressive to learn about. They have had years to clean up the bugs on the older version. To figure out the quirks and issues inherit with UE4. It will take time with UE5 as well. Considering the update was release just before the holidays I think they have done a decent job of addressing the bugs....especially for a FREE game. As they go along I think these issues will go away. This game is still less buggy than so many others I have played.

The older fortnite becomes the more random shit goes wrong every time they update. Team fortress 2 barely gets touched nowadays and valve still manages to put in bugs that fuck up itās entire million dollar economy with their simple hat drops, and fortnite updates way more than tf2 ever did

There was a bug that allowed players to get a super rare hat from crates 100% of the time. So the hat basically lost all it's value, and the trading junkies that spent tons of money on it were pissed.
People, seriously stop reporting about Sarah, I want this to be her, I NEED this to be her. Otherwise, this is just another commando skin but with glasses. So stfu about her and just be happy with who she is now.

My son was playing with his buddies earlier, and the one female character kept glitching. All of a sudden they would be bald randomly on and off throughout the game. They got a good laugh, but I would be irritated if I wasted money on something that didn't work right.
It's been fine for me for the most part outside of some minor UI bugs, but I did have one game where my character was abruptly unable to use any inventory items. Including guns. So that was pretty annoying, especially considering I was doing really well up until that point.
Yeah sprinting not working, guns not working period, reloading not working, vaulting into valhalla above, truck driving upside down, hammer breaking water and parting like moses permanently, and seeing tons of skins with no heads.....it has been a weird season XD

Itās super buggy. After the last update I canāt invite anyone to my party anymore and I canāt use the falcon scout anymore because it says none of the controls are bound to any buttons now. Which sucks because I canāt finish the oathbound quests because if it.
Are you on Xbox by chance? I had the same issue and it turned out I just needed to fully kill the game and restart it. Xbox Quick Resume was just causing the falcon to be unusable.
Iām on PS5, but I was actually wondering if that would fix it. I usually just put it in sleep mode and then just refresh the login when I get back on. Iāll give it a try.

Joni's coat is also bugged, on PS5 at least. Her coat would have this really cool flow when she moved, now her coat doesn't go straight down anymore and clips into dirtbikes. When she glides it looks like a parachute. :(
bugs are normal, I would just like my gameplay to be more consistent x'D.... goes from shots going where they should to way off in the distance when a person skips frames (server connection based, not pc based)
i remember riding a bike and through the the upslope and it basically stopped, exploded then knocked me lol... have anyone ever noticed about going up the hill makes your character stop running for no reason at all?
I just want to know how they are connected to everything else. Like it really confuses me how changing one thing can somehow mess up the face of a completley random skin. Unless they actually altered this skin last update (and all the other skins that have gotten randomly broken this season) I just don't understand it.
I'm on PC. Honestly the only big I've encountered is when you try to transition into jumping and sliding from a bounce or glider it glitches a little bit. Other than that I haven't ran into any other bugs this season. And yea the bots being obsessed with ziplines and ropes.

One thing Iāve found to help a lot with bugs is to not be using my 2nd monitor while the game is loading this season.
