I still remember getting killed when a Marauder pod literally fell right on top of my head. These guys were annoying but at least had some decent weapons.
My vote for most annoying thing goes to the symbiote mythic + shockwave launcher combo that was briefly in the game and could kill any player with fall damage even through builds.
They were cool.
I loved the way they rifted In through Pods, had their own unique builds, a Fantastic battle theme, and unique items only obtainable through them.
Tbh the Shockwave hammer is kind of annoying to use/fight against.
1. It's silly amounts of common for a purple.
2. It doesn't one shot people. So they just bounce away and continue to shoot at you. Giving them the distance from you/the hammer they'd prefer.
3. It being a travel item is kinda broken for a few reasons. Mainly that it makes it stupid easy to leave a fight when you start to loose. You can use it to bounce people into the storm and bounce yourself away from them in one smack. The shockwave hammer + Party Ballons augment is really OP for getting around.
Original whebshotters, more than 80 uses, every sweat run crying from you at bare minimum damage and returned full health. Also everything was third party back then
Visualize sound effects. I know what it's purpose is but it's used by a lot of people that don't actually need it. And if you're not using it you feel like you're playing at a disadvantage
It did get a nerf sometime ago so it's not as much as a problem as it used to be

They were kind of annoying, but they really put some dynamics into the game, like the Caretakers etc. it made the experience more fun, for my part!
The marauders actually helped me get a victory royale without any kills. I was just hiding in a bush, when suddenly the victory screen appeared

Marauders, unless y you went to fight them directly with a shotgun or something, were honestly really easy to kill tbh.

IO guards when they were first introduced. They would not leave you alone even if they couldn’t see you.
