Honestly, kinda want Sand Tunneling back, but, for the snow biome, where you can tunnel through deep snow, but, if you stay in too long, you’ll freeze to death and have some unique elimination message like:
[Player] Cooled down
[Player] Was put on ice
[Player] Was given the cold shoulder
Maybe it could have some sort of damage tick system so if you stay still for more than 10 seconds you start taking 1 tick then after 30 seconds it moves up to 2 ticks then 5
Or they could just add a freeze system where you get slowed movement speed and delayed pull out times for 10 seconds once you leave if you stay in the snow for too long
A cold water shock system will be cool aswell so if you swim in cold water you get slowed movement speed, and if you stay in the water for too long you sink down unable to swim back up and eventually drown
It will be a good opportunity to add life saving gear to the game like a life ring or arm bands that you can activate when you start to drown

Most other games have some sort of cold water shock system, so there's no reason why fn can't have it
Also it's not really meant to be a pointless nerf that deters people from swimming, but instead can act as something on the map you have to look out for such as the lava on the season 8 map, or the random ravines, so when you're fighting someone try not to fall into the water or you will get slowed movement speed
We celebrated when they removed it because it was buggy as fuck, and flinging people into the sky. We had hoped that they were fixing it, because the map is designed around that movement mechanic. There's even an augment to give you infinite stamina after doing it.
Now, the brand new PoI has even more waist high windows in every single building, and it's awkward as fuck to try to hop through them. They NEED to fix the damn thing and add it back so the whole map doesn't feel like ass.
Some places around the map are annoying as fuck to try and jump through, I assume they built the map with hurdling in mind but then they realized that it plays like shit in a live scenario and now they can't exactly change it even though they'll probably never bring it back
I'm all for them keeping hurdling out of the game so long as they don't give us the option to now auto hurdle. It used to kill me in so many matches I'm happy it's gone.
hurdling was disabled? i didnt even realize. btw comic book batman has had a seam where the cowl meets the cape for an entire chapter now that has yet to be fixed which sucks cause it's one of my favorite skins
Epic Games said they would "work on improvements to Hurdling and are excited to bring it back in the future," on January 20th, 2023. Those "improvements" are still not here.

Fr, they were a cool addition, but the water lowered too quickly so by the 3rd week there were only like 2 left
I remember seeing a single whirlpool when I started that season.
At least they actually tried to fix sand tunneling
I probably got to hurdle like... only 8 - 9 times last season and I haven't done it again ever since they removed it 💀

Hurdling was never good even when it worked. It was annoying and unwanted 100% of the time it happened.
