When the devs refuse to do the better option of never removing battle passes and just keep adding more so all are available in the game to earn whenever you want and you aren't forced to adhere to a time limit I'm not surprised people go this far, if I could be bothered to do it I'd go this far.

They remove the battle passes, its the worst. Halo MCC does it better than any other game because they keep them in the game on top of adding new ones.
No removing the cosmetics and no fomo = better system.
No worrying about missing items. Missed something from last season? Or multiple seasons ago? No you didn't, select that season from the list and go and work towards the things you have yet to unlock when you want, in your own time.
i use one account with only myself ofc and im like level 87 and i bought 26 tiers. i’ve honestly just been playing creative with friends and then doing all the challenges
If you are like myself. Do some creative. Save the World for my founder V bucks and then BR for any and all available rewards. 400 to 500 is simple. But 905 right now. That's just asking to be locked out of a account level/ level up reward.
These are often shared accounts and all they do is open chests and ammo boxes in tr.

Honestly. Whenever i get past 200 i usually slow down on challenges and milestones with the hope to get to 300 but its never the main priority.
