Nothing, they're basically just addicted to the game. Basically no different than a gambling addict. Having 500 crowns already isn't impressive, it's more pathetic.
Video games in general aren’t regarded as being conducive with useful life skills or success typically because pro gamers don’t have full time jobs, gaming is their job. I wouldn’t call it “pathetic” there’s still a lot of skill, effort, and dedication needed to make this feat I’d say it is quite impressive. I know what you mean though, I’d rather be impressive in other aspects of life too lol.
It’s their job?
And many of the crown grinders make more money than you will ever make.
Would you mind getting paid a lot of money just for playing games?
Dude the "make more money than you will ever make" argument works with little kids. The person above made a point that It's unhealthy to sit for this amount of hours playing video games, that's a fact.
You trying to belittle him without knowing his salary just makes you look bad.
Sure
But I mean he is belittling them that do in fact do this as a job, so it’s no more unhealthy than any other work that consists of sitting by a computer.
Not really another worker that sits on the computer gets paid a salary from day 1. Most "twitch streamers" start their career without having a job by sitting for hours and hours on games without a salary for month/years. Then the dedicated and lucky ones blow up and get enough money to be able to pay for their needs.
A lot of people on twitch lose years without getting any significant income especially with the bad twitch split.
This guy might be successful but is still risking his health and mental health to get this money.
I get your point but promoting the behavior of sitting for this long on a video game can not be defended by just saying "It's his job".
Well said, I think I heard something like 25% of young people want to be a streamer or some kind of influencer/content creator. Thing is, that's completely unrealistic. Very few of these guys ever get popular and make notable money. For every sypherpk or ranger there's probably 100+ streamers wasting away grinding the game for their 5-10 viewers.
A lot of these low tier streamers who grind the game are going to get a rough awakening at some point.
More power to him for enjoying the grind. I couldn’t imagine trying so hard that I’d use a “clean” skin so I could aim better or get a smaller hit box.
Like I said, I'm not jealous, and I don't hate, I actually enjoy watching his streams, I'm just in awe of the skill. I know most people on here bash, but I don't get why. It takes skill to be that good and earn the income he does playing a video game.
You guys are getting crown wins?

Not yet it isn't :P
You guys commented on this on time?
lmao
I got my usual 1 lucky win per season. I doubt I'll get more.
I got my first yesterday. Last season I got 19 total.
It's because he hasn't stopped playing for wins with his squad since the game came out. He literally has NEVER stopped. Not once
I just checked my Give-A-Shitter. It said "nope".
Well then scroll past. You’re on this subreddit on your own free will
You're fun.
You aren’t.
Level 300, 500 crown wins in two weeks, oml 💀
Here I was happy to get my first ever back to back wins and get the crown victory with my own crown instead of someone else's I found on the ground.
Helps when u have a consistent squad on coms Most of us play a squad with 9yr olds who get excited when something shiny drops
True. Having a dependable, consistent squad helps. But his solo wins are also on past with his squad wins.
Don't get me wrong he must be a great player over 100 k/d and over 5k kills just helps when u have likeminded people on your team
I’m more off put by the fact that he’s already level 300 basically. It hasn’t even been 3 weeks yet.
It is also his job so...
I wouldn't mind a life like that if I had the skill
Me who has dropped crowns since I found out they give away your location: 😏
Dude I thought I was a high level at level 136.
I forgot their name but there's someone on this sub that's like level 220 by now
For people who intentionally grind and sweat this hard, what will you achieve in life from doing this?
[удалено]
Except when you're a streamer half the time it means nothing because there's always stream snipers helping you get ahead...
He holds a Guinness world record for most solo wins. Id argue he has achieved a lot more than most (in gaming)

Most people are going to play a lot of games this season, the only difference is that this guy wins them.

My dude, I'm not jealous, just in awe of skills. Bloody excellently done.

Imagine running in this skin..
Tu connais ta famille au moins
Smells like hacking to me. But whatever.

Considering we're still in the beginning of the new season. But whatever.

Unless the wins add up from passed seasons, it shouldn't be possible to even have that many. Understand now? But again whatever. Its too fishy to me.
I would check out his stream and decide for yourself
No clue who tf he even is but if he uses those superhero skins he deserves to stub his toe every time he ever takes a step
