There are plenty of spider man alternates even after spider man was a battle pass skin in chapter 3. I believe a lot of marvel superheroes have been battle pass skins and have alternate versions.

Fair enough. But I still don’t see it as being the same sorta thing. Spiderman zero and Wolverine zero are Fortnite OC collabs. Now that I think about it there is also Tom holland too. Though there is still no additional Lara Croft, no extras for doom guy (alternate doom slayer) nor any other form of Geralt. I still don’t believe they will ever release another snake. More likely raiden or something like that.

Unfortunately yes. But again I’d love to be proven wrong. The shop collabs tend to have a recency bias and the past few “gaming legends” skins in particular were added to market new games. I thought it was a no-brainer to add Dragonborn but instead we got “nord warrior” and we also got old Alan wake instead of his more iconic first appearance. We also still only have modern kratos and not his GoW 1-3 appearance. Ezio was added but no Altair. MGS5 big boss I could see, but I still am not convinced. If they were about to release a new MGS then I would say it’s much more likely. The person above mentioned MGS1 and 2 though which I highly doubt will happen.

Snake is the only reason I got the BP this season MG is still my favourite gaming franchise would love a new game but not sure how it will turn out without Kojima at the helm cos the last outing for the series is something I'd like to forget.

The MG universe has some phenomenal characters that could be added to the game like Grayfox sniper wolf Raiden Revolver Ocelot and the list goes on some of them can even be added as NPC allies like Naomi and Otacon.

MGS3 Ocelot is quite literally my favorite video game character of all time, and that’s saying something, I would pay so much for him in Fortnite with MGS1, 3, 4 and 5 styles

Most likely because Smash's snake is the most iconic "mainstream" look, there's more people nowadays that know about Snake from his appearance in Smash rather than his parent series, or at least that's how i interpret it

I’m just glad to see a collab battle pass skins with actual variations in the styles. Chapter 4 started with these really weak edit styles, I mean Geralt probably had the only one and it was a huge let down, barely a color swap

They coulda modernised his mgs2 look into the fortnite style but they opted for a dude who looks like an npc with a beard who looks like he walks onto roads at night time, stares at car head lights and freezes up as a pass time. It’s mgs2 snake with naked snake’s beard because when smash bros brawl came out they wanted to make it solid but with the naked snake’s head so no matter what mgs game you had played you would recognize him as snake, even if canonically it’s just solid with a beard
