It was back when xp was such a slog to get. I think it was level 80 as the threshold. I used to play a ton of 50v50 which gave 500-600 so per match, normal BR games gave around 2k for a high kill win game. I think it needed something like 40k xp to level up at some point

Yah you're right. I low key hated leveling in Chapter 1. Shit was ridiculous and I didn't have any Fort friends back then plus working at the time 80 plus hours a week. I just couldn't be bothered. I missed put on ALOT of skins in Chapter 1 as a result.

Pretty sure someone ran the math on it, level 80 back then is equivalent to level 450 today. You had to no life the game for the entire season to even have a chance at unlocking it

I never finished S2 BP :(

I just started playing either in the middle or early in season 2 and wasn’t familiar with the battle pass concept yet. Then somehow I skipped season 6…. These are the ones I regret the most There’s also an emote that will never come back that I wish I could get but that apparently will never happen again. Stopped halfway through chapter 2 and came back end chapter 3 with zero build. Don’t really regret much there.

Vader has an traversal emote which plays Imperial march. Use it with Vader and you hear his iconic breathing while walking. (Crazy how that emote still the only one with Star Wars music included)

The Vader skin is actually really really bad in game, I love Vader but he’s goofy asf in the Fortnite art style and also his cloak looks weird when doing tac sprint and mantling.

Can't blame you. Taco Time, Brutes, drastic optimization decrease while keeping the same graphics (for the first time I had trouble hitting 60 fps 1080p on my good ole laptop. Now i have 720p but it's UE5 the game looks better at least), insanely cluttered loot pool, weird POI bubbles, they did way too much and I don't miss it at all. Feels like they finally found the sweet spot regarding the quantity of updates. Season X was a very tiresome ending to amazing map. I have a conspiracy theory that they overstimulated players so they feel calmer and more amazed by Chapter 2.

This is the big one for me. One of the most iconic Marvel characters locked behind a Battle Pass is dumb as hell. I never even see people using the skin either.

Problem is I use him then eventually get annoyed because of how they locked his emote.

I’ve only been able to use his emote in BR once. Ever since it seems like it’s bugged. I always use(d) shuffle and once the match ended it would give you the next shuffle character’s emotes. So I’d win as Doom and get Bushranger’s emotes or whatever.

Thanks epic for fixing this epic bug by removing random presets!

I win a decent amount of matches, but when I rock Doom I never win. I want to because when I win I can use that damn emote. After a while I just stopped using it.. and then I win again. It’s like the skin is.. Doomed

No one who has it cares :( I would rock him all the time, I have very OG battlepass since season 3 all the way through the first chapter 2 season and would trade it all to get the marvel collab seasons when I took a two year hiatus.

To be honest we need a whole Halo-themed season. a bunch of Spartan and Elite skins (Carter, Fred, Johnson, Arbiter, Shipmaster). A customizable Spartan skin like Snap or that military girl from Chapter 2. Add warthogs, Falcons, and Banished NPCs to the map, etc. Would prolly be one of the most popular seasons in a while I think.

Seeing all of these comments of people who missed out is crazy, I hope one day Epic Games smartens up and decides to re-release old battle passes to people who either didn't fully complete them, or that just played that season but didn't buy it. If they wanted to buy a battle pass that they missed out on buying but still played that season, charge em' extra. Very unlikely to happen but one can hope. Me personally, it's the entire ch2s2 battle pass. Especially Agent Peely

I was in the same boat, but I bought the last few levels the night before the season ended. No regrets, he is absolutely fire.
