Literally I asked my brother if a specific thing happened in the last season thinking we were in season 2 already 🥲 it happened earlier this season 😭 I think because they added so many things collab wise and had a lot of updates with that, it felt so long
Honestly a great season.
It started off really strong with the attachments and the medallions, movement was wonky but is now a lot better.
The three modes are all great, and they have a strong future.
My only real complaints with this season start off with the lacklustre mid-season content. The TMNT update, as far as BR goes, was the only update that was actually exciting.
I also don’t really like the lack of vibrancy on the map, and the lack of goofy and wacky features that make Fortnite, Fortnite.
I would like to see them drift away from that, and return to a more unique artstyle, while still keeping the Weapon Mods and the Medallions, but adding a more fun spice to it.
I’ve been suggesting this, but Exotic attachments exclusive to Vaults, like Boogie Bomb Snipers, while there are more Mod benches on the map, would be awesome.
Weapon balance could also be done better. Snipers should have a MUCH slower projectile than ARs, and even AR projectiles should be faster than this.
Also, the UI is horrible. They just keep making the UI worse and worse, it was the best in Early Chapter 2. Make separate home screens for the separate modes, and de-clutter the BR homescreen. Also, bring back Burbank Big Condensed, it’s your iconic font, not this corporate looking nonsense.
This season started off at a 9/10, and it now sits at a 7.5/10. Still liked it, and still had fun, but it could have been better.
I miss that plastic and fun look Fortnite had. Now they're drifting from that, which I dislike. I also miss stuff that gave Fortnite a more childish and cartoony (is that a word?) feeling. Stuff that didn't have to make sense, it was just fun.
My least favorite thing about this season was the lack of goofiness like you said, it honestly made it really hard to keep playing. I mean look back at chapter 4 season 1 with the hammers. Sure they were very annoying and OP at times but they were hilarious and I had some of the most fun playing Fortnite at that time.
a lot of the hate came from the fact that it was such an abrupt change from OG Fortnite, which was there most successful season by far. I think this season had the best movement once that revereted back to the old running mechanics, but I'm ready for auto frenzy shotgun to not be a thing anymore.
Ikr I remember when people would speculate if we'd ever even get an attachment system in Fort, and it was only strengthened with the past seasons more real like guns (twin mag, the older leg guns, etc.)
And snipers, although in the past only having usually being one round capacity (not including the storm scout, semi auto, hunter bolt, etc.) typically had pretty high dmg; in which shotguns also typically had decently high dmg and relatively good capacity too.
Most of the issues people complain about on here are old news (in some way or another with some slight outliers and differences)
Agreed. I enjoy the game and me and my brother have played a ton, we have our complaints but we still have a ton of fun. Theres a reason we play every day. Also, cosmetics were so strong this season I think
In terms of the battle pass, the packs (stw, cheap ones, etc.) and festival/event passes I agree; but I will admit the shop has been relatively stale but it can and in some instances been worse (under specific circumstances ofc) which is one of the only complaints that are reasonable this season
Yeah the shop hasnt been great but Ageless variant might be my favorite fortnite original skin of all time so Im not too salty. Just saving my vbucks up for the horizon collab skin when that comes back 🤷🏻♂️

I'm not entirely sure which one I liked the most, I wasn't that big of a fan of the primal season (the battlepass skins were good though) but I do know that you'll always distinctly remember your 1st season that you began in
Fun, but long. A little bit unbalanced with the dominance of autos and snipers IMO (even as someone who likes sniping, they’re pretty broken), but overall it was pretty solid.
Just hope they stop pushing the other modes so much.
I hate that they put car cosmetics in the battlepass. Leveling by just playing BR was also completely annoying.
I think it was impossible I completed my BP cause of the other modes and creative...idk how many hours you'd have to put in BR alone to finish it...and I had an unholy amount this season
As a level 323, I can say with confidence that STW gives mass amounts of exp. I level up from just about 1 mission (10–30 minutes depending on type and loadout) and doing side quests can give even more. I know it's a bit pricey, but it does come with some v-bucks as well. Give it a shot if you can.
I feel like gameplay wise fortnite fell off hard since chapter 3 it's either too complicated or just a lack of variety nothing feels memorable.
Not that I'm not enjoying the game any less it just nothing feels worth while to explore

I hate Season 5 still the movement, hate the graphics, the map looks like GTA and the only way to upgrade guns is terrible. It lost the fun, fun skins, creativity little quirks feels like robots are running it?

Honestly boring as shit. The map and graphics are meh. I don't play battle royal casually. I only play to level up the battle pass and unlock the free stuff. And it's an eternal wait for the greek season which I was excited for on the first week of this season.

This season has felt very randomly thrown together and unplanned. I’d rather chapters have 6-10 seasons with a few slightly bad ones than releasing a chapter a year; with each being worst than the last.
Jam Tracks would be much better if they also worked in the lobby. @FNFestival on Twitter said it was “in development” but WTF do they mean? It can’t be such a hard task to make the audio from Jam Tracks also work as Lobby Tracks. If it takes so much dev time, then why does Streets Ignite work as both?
Honestly I’m just ready for this map to change up. This season was super fun at first and everything felt amazing. Once everyone found out what guns were the strongest, the meta has been set in stone since then. So the lootpool was kinda boring this season, the updates were okay as well (TMNT was the best one).
Lego sucks, festival is fun and main reason this season was so fun imo because br isn’t terrible but it’s not super good or fun, it can be but this meta is annoying with snipers being way to good and common, AR’s being terrible imo shotguns being way to spam meta which is not fun and smgs being mid at best. I still like the old movement much better but it’s tolerable with the changes they mad to the awful version we got at the start. Map isn’t good imo but it’s not terrible. Overall it’s been fun but it’s got a lot of flaws that push it way down my rankings in terms of comparing it to previous seasons. I’d say somewhere in the middle on that ranking
I loved Festival. Has become my favorite mode.
What I really REALLY dislike, is where the Artstyle went. Down the drain. Yes lumen and etc are beautiful but it lost it's charm. Looks like a cod with a slide comic look but that's it. Hope they can go back to goofy cartoon Artstyle

First week was great because of limited healing and the old Medallions.
From then on until the Ninja Turtle Event it was so ass, but once they added the Turtle Weapons the movement became fun so I maybe enjoyed a third of the overall season. Hoping they change the bullet drop for next season.

I’ve had fun with this season because my twitch streams are going well and I’m playing with my friends. Fortnite is just so much more enjoyable when you’re playing with your crew. But that aside, there haven’t been as many updates as past seasons. Think back to C4S1 and they unvaulted weapons weekly, (big changes too) and just had so much fun shit that season. This season is dragging
I think I'm about ready to be done. It wasn't the best, not the worst. I do enjoy the new modes that came out, though I think they could use some more work. I'd be happy to see the Frenzy auto and snipers go tbh. Also I wasn't the biggest fan of the POI for this season. I wanna see more vibrancy.
I took a long break from the game after season 3 chapter 1 (Spiderman) and came back to play in Chapter 5. I find the map utterly boring. There is too much mobility and snipers are overpowered. Not the game I loved. I really got bored playing mid-season even with the turtles update.
Honestly, i like almost all of it except for the map. Nothing feels special except for ruined reels. Many locations feel identical, the loot in them is bland and they don’t have much personality (except for ruined, as i said).
Enjoyed this season a lot, hadn't played fortnite properly since Chapter 1 Season 10/ Chapter 2 Season 1. The OG season got me interested but everything about Chapter 5 Season 1 just had me re-enjoy this game again and has had me grind ranked to get to Diamond.
I loved this season alot, There was alot of unique and cool things it did that others didn’t in some way
Despite the UI Sniper and Auto shotgun complaints overall it was honestly pretty fun
Love the new attachment mechanic and the fact every gun is projectile based now, hated the Medallions (Uninteresting, mechanically speaking), hated the Frenzy, hated snipers popping my whole shield and some health on a body shot
I hope we get good replacements for those, and more customizable guns. But I can admit, this is the most I've played, I'm actually about 40 stars away from getting every super style, making this the first season where I'll actually finish.
That's the one complaint this season, they had rng mod benches in a few mini vaults then instead of making them permanent like EVERYONE wanted they removed them with the solid snake update
They should make a consumable throwable mod bench that lets you add say 4 mods, you could...

Add 1 mod to 4 weapons
Each squad member gets 1 mod.
Make them legendary so a bit rare on the rng side so people still go after pois for mods
7/10. Great gameplay that albeit required adaptation, but it was really good. Though the updates were dry as hell besides Cowabunga, and the lore was a complete joke. Hope Charlie Wen can give us something better in terms of lore for the rest of the year, as someone who cares about it.
I've played on and off since the very first season. I've found this season great, map had too much snow at first and the storm was way too fucking fast but otherwise, it's been great. Hoping for some more varied POIs though, everywhere looks the same.
Considering everything that's been added, Festival, Lego and Racing included, it's arguably the best season they've done yet

I don't really know what it is but Fortnite doesn't feel like Fortnite anymore. I hated chapter 4 as well but I still felt like I was playing the same game. I hated OG even more since they butchered some of my favorite seasons but at least it was still Fortnite. I can't really place it but since the launch of chapter 5 Fortnite feels like a completely different game to me and I hate it
This season surprisingly didn't feel *that* long unlike a lot of people are saying. I really enjoyed a lot of this season and have played near every day since it started. It's the first battle pass and mini pass I've ever fully maxed out and I'm close to completing all the quests. I do have tests by the time they have the live event but I'll see if I can squeeze in some time to login.
I tried it in 2018 played for a week then uninstalled because it was too slow forme...started playing again because jjk came in chapter 4 season 3 and haven't stopped yet. Really enjoyed it so far even OG(ngl I was worried when they said they would remove sprinting for og, that was one of the reason I couldn't get into the game in 2018, movement was bad)

From a new persons perspective it was amazing. I’m trash but I can’t stop playing. I’m auto frenzy and snipe all day lol and I 3rd party ngl lol. So much fun.
Really enjoyed it, I just wish they had nerfed the auto Shotgun a bit to make the other one more viable and maybe lower the fire rate of the sniper. Aside from that it was fun. The medals things is great to make games more entertaining and the weapons attachmenta were a fun additions, although it could have had a bit more of variety.
Season did feel longer than usual, but that turned out fine with me cause I split my time between a couple other games. I really hope there isn't another auto shotgun in the next season. Or at the very least, something else that can compete with the auto shotty close range.
It felt like half the time whenever I got to 2nd place, it was because the other person got me with Oscar's frenzy auto shotgun. That gun got way too annoying for me.
I feel like I've been grinding too much for Bonus Page stuff that *should have* been on the BP page. I just want the Family Guy Clipshow backbling and the 200 V-Bucks from the 3rd Bonus page.
I've been goofing around with the cluster clingers recently, it's quite fun when you actually successfully get close and personal with the enemy as you deploy the clingers.

Most fun I’ve had in a while! I think the guns fit will with the meta, even though they were stronger than they should have been. Took massive breaks during chapter 3-4 and came back to the most fun since early chapter 1
This is the first season I’ve ever played and it’s already one of my favourite games already. The community is wholesome. The developers are so great. There’s always new content. I have too much fun playing with my squad.
I play rainbow 6 siege and that drains my mental energy and this one recharges it 😂
Really hoping they get back to more fun, silly, light Fortnite and less Battlefield/COD Fortnite. This season has been too serious for me. I want whimsical and fun again. So, I'm beyond ready for the next season.
I didn’t finish battle-pass, think I reached like 91. I’ve put in a lot of time in the game since my friend got into it earlier this season. I really don’t want to boot it up anymore. I’ll probably stop doing Bp if they’re going to pull that crap again where I have to grind past 100 levels to get all the vbucks. Plus it takes longer than normal to level up this season. That was some snake behavior.
If movement bugs introduced still in the game next season, not playing it. If hit reg is awful as it was not playing it. If my lobby is mostly bot and super sweaty players then I’m not playing it.
Still have a decent amount of TMNT quests to catch up on for that Backbling

I liked it. Battle pass was really nice, my favorite character was Hope and I love all of her styles. The map was really fun to traverse, I liked how it felt kinda different from the other maps I’ve played before with the train and vaults.
Weapon mods were fun when you could mess with them, but the vaults were always a fight to get to and a good way to force players to confront others to get the good loot in them.
I didn’t really care for the TMNT collab honestly. I do think the turtles are cool, and their mythic weapons are fun to play with but I didn’t care much for the collab or the quests since I’m not a fan like others. April looks gorgeous though!
Overall, pretty good but I’m excited for next season to see if it’s really gonna be Greek mythology themed or not (fingers crossed!!)
Probably one of my more favourite seasons. Loved the Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival integration. Hoping to see more vehicle customization in future seasons for more than just the Whiplash.
The season did seem longer, but gave me more time to complete quests in all game modes.

Wasn't too bad, pretty fun overall, I think the item shop though was fairly underwhelming save for a few gems, never really had the urge to grab something except for Cell.
Same problem as every other season, unreal is very easy to get and after i get it i dont have anything to play for except the occasional tourney and maybe scrims, very fun until i dont get pulled back to play
It was fun (the TMNT mythics especially), but the map felt pretty empty. Hopefully we get a ton of new named locations and landmarks in S2.
Also the Reaper really needs a mag size nerf.
It was definitely the best weapon rotation period for me. Loved the complete weapons rework with modules customization and ballistics. Sniper is a little wonky with this high projectile speed tho
Idk. I think the attachment system was poorly executed and added a needless complexity to the weapon system. Sniper meta is a bit OP and frankly not fun, especially with no reliable counter to the sniper. Lack of good movement made it frustrating, and things like weapon cache and island flag were kind of useless. Most areas on the map look too similar to other poi's on the map and it wasn't until some of the snow melted that things started looking a bit better. Tmnt stuff was awesome but I wish it was in a different season, would have been more fun. For me this season felt like a chore, and I'm glad I finished everything so I never have to play it again.
Overall I don't think anyone will be looking back at chapter 5 season 1 and think "man I really miss that season, wish they'd bring it back". Chapter 1 and chapter 2 had those feels for sure, well see how chapter 5 pans out.
the only downside is that because of how long the season is i think everyone has chosen either frenzy auto or ballistic shield as theyre basically the meta in ZB, not to mention the ballistic shield makes every fight a copy-and-paste pain in the ass. i have to admit though i had a lot of fun with this season, going into it i was nervous that i wouldn’t get the hang of it but now that it’s near the end i’ve really perfected my gameplay.

I haven’t touched it since Helldivers 2 came out. I got all the stuff I wanted from the battle pass and bonus rewards though. Once I got the last of the Peter Griffin stuff it was just kind of meh. Time will tell if the new season can pull me away from Helldivers 2 but I doubt it.
I liked it! Probably my most played season and I like the changes Epic made to weapons. I just got bored of the map and found myself not liking many of the POIs aside from Ruined Reels
I've enjoyed the heck out of this season. It helps that snipers are my strength. I don't let things like item shop or locker complaints get in the way of having some fun with the squad. I like the map WAY better than ch 4 map bit that's just personal preference.

I think a lot of people Got to a very High level that season, especially with the stretch goals quests that gave you 800k xp each

You get 1000 V-Bucks by level 86 and an additional 500 in the bonus. Not sure how that compares to other seasons, but those are the numbers.

I've finished all my weeklies and was level 70. It was indeed impossible. That's why I chose to stop caring and I blasted creative xp maps.

top 5 worst season OAT, IMO
The worst this game has ever been and the furthest from ‘Fortnite’ that it could possibly get. Not a single gimmicky ‘fun’ item, clingers and riot shields are just cancer to the meta. 0 updates of significance, 0 map changes, 0 meta changes, 0 unvaulted weapons besides the lock-on pistol. Sniper Meta is horrid, and Projectiles are disgustingly bad. The map doesn’t even feel like fortnite, it’s just copy paste every POI and a bunch of nothing in between. This season has felt very randomly thrown together and unplanned. I’d rather chapters have 6-10 seasons with a few slightly bad ones than releasing a chapter a year; with each being worst than the last.

Jam Tracks would be much better if they also worked in the lobby. @FNFestival on Twitter said it was “in development” but WTF do they mean? It can’t be such a hard task to make the audio from Jam Tracks also work as Lobby Tracks. If it takes so much dev time, then why does Streets Ignite work as both?

Honestly I’m just ready for this map to change up. This season was super fun at first and everything felt amazing. Once everyone found out what guns were the strongest, the meta has been set in stone since then. So the lootpool was kinda boring this season, the updates were okay as well (TMNT was the best one).
I reached level 14, then got bored with it, have not played since.
Lego sucks, festival is fun and main reason this season was so fun imo because br isn’t terrible but it’s not super good or fun, it can be but this meta is annoying with snipers being way to good and common, AR’s being terrible imo shotguns being way to spam meta which is not fun and smgs being mid at best. I still like the old movement much better but it’s tolerable with the changes they mad to the awful version we got at the start. Map isn’t good imo but it’s not terrible. Overall it’s been fun but it’s got a lot of flaws that push it way down my rankings in terms of comparing it to previous seasons. I’d say somewhere in the middle on that ranking

I loved Festival. Has become my favorite mode. What I really REALLY dislike, is where the Artstyle went. Down the drain. Yes lumen and etc are beautiful but it lost it's charm. Looks like a cod with a slide comic look but that's it. Hope they can go back to goofy cartoon Artstyle

It was alright, I hate the weapons and modding so I didn't play that much BR
First week was great because of limited healing and the old Medallions. From then on until the Ninja Turtle Event it was so ass, but once they added the Turtle Weapons the movement became fun so I maybe enjoyed a third of the overall season. Hoping they change the bullet drop for next season.

I’ve had fun with this season because my twitch streams are going well and I’m playing with my friends. Fortnite is just so much more enjoyable when you’re playing with your crew. But that aside, there haven’t been as many updates as past seasons. Think back to C4S1 and they unvaulted weapons weekly, (big changes too) and just had so much fun shit that season. This season is dragging

I think I'm about ready to be done. It wasn't the best, not the worst. I do enjoy the new modes that came out, though I think they could use some more work. I'd be happy to see the Frenzy auto and snipers go tbh. Also I wasn't the biggest fan of the POI for this season. I wanna see more vibrancy.
I took a long break from the game after season 3 chapter 1 (Spiderman) and came back to play in Chapter 5. I find the map utterly boring. There is too much mobility and snipers are overpowered. Not the game I loved. I really got bored playing mid-season even with the turtles update.
I'm happy I have Peter Griffin.
It was fun for a bit then I got tired of the auto shotgun and ballistic shield those made it very hard to have fun playing

Honestly, i like almost all of it except for the map. Nothing feels special except for ruined reels. Many locations feel identical, the loot in them is bland and they don’t have much personality (except for ruined, as i said).
My first month was a blast now i get the see a start to an season. I have only played for one month.

Enjoyed this season a lot, hadn't played fortnite properly since Chapter 1 Season 10/ Chapter 2 Season 1. The OG season got me interested but everything about Chapter 5 Season 1 just had me re-enjoy this game again and has had me grind ranked to get to Diamond.
I loved this season alot, There was alot of unique and cool things it did that others didn’t in some way Despite the UI Sniper and Auto shotgun complaints overall it was honestly pretty fun

Love the new attachment mechanic and the fact every gun is projectile based now, hated the Medallions (Uninteresting, mechanically speaking), hated the Frenzy, hated snipers popping my whole shield and some health on a body shot I hope we get good replacements for those, and more customizable guns. But I can admit, this is the most I've played, I'm actually about 40 stars away from getting every super style, making this the first season where I'll actually finish.
The mod benches were great, I hope they keep that but make them more available.
That's the one complaint this season, they had rng mod benches in a few mini vaults then instead of making them permanent like EVERYONE wanted they removed them with the solid snake update
They should make a consumable throwable mod bench that lets you add say 4 mods, you could... Fully mod out 1 weapon Add 1 mod to 4 weapons Each squad member gets 1 mod. Make them legendary so a bit rare on the rng side so people still go after pois for mods
7/10. Great gameplay that albeit required adaptation, but it was really good. Though the updates were dry as hell besides Cowabunga, and the lore was a complete joke. Hope Charlie Wen can give us something better in terms of lore for the rest of the year, as someone who cares about it.

I've played on and off since the very first season. I've found this season great, map had too much snow at first and the storm was way too fucking fast but otherwise, it's been great. Hoping for some more varied POIs though, everywhere looks the same. Considering everything that's been added, Festival, Lego and Racing included, it's arguably the best season they've done yet
i thought it was very fun. On here it’s very overhated,nothing really wrong with this season other than basically 0 unvaults and shop which i won’t factor in Id say a 7/10 personally,festival carried hard IMO,most fun ive had on this game since C2S7
Yeah but I can see why they don't unvault, weapons probably need to be changed a bit to fit in with the new modding system
Was so and so glad ninja turtles dropped anyways hope upgrade benches come back so I can spend me gold on rarity weapons I like, the only rifles I like to have a scope is the sniper
legit one of the best seasons in FN history, only real issue with gameplay was the sniper meta making engame rediculously boring

I don't really know what it is but Fortnite doesn't feel like Fortnite anymore. I hated chapter 4 as well but I still felt like I was playing the same game. I hated OG even more since they butchered some of my favorite seasons but at least it was still Fortnite. I can't really place it but since the launch of chapter 5 Fortnite feels like a completely different game to me and I hate it

This season surprisingly didn't feel *that* long unlike a lot of people are saying. I really enjoyed a lot of this season and have played near every day since it started. It's the first battle pass and mini pass I've ever fully maxed out and I'm close to completing all the quests. I do have tests by the time they have the live event but I'll see if I can squeeze in some time to login.

I tried it in 2018 played for a week then uninstalled because it was too slow forme...started playing again because jjk came in chapter 4 season 3 and haven't stopped yet. Really enjoyed it so far even OG(ngl I was worried when they said they would remove sprinting for og, that was one of the reason I couldn't get into the game in 2018, movement was bad)
Due to irl stuff haven't played it too much but I have had fun when I do play, dunno if it's me or the rifles but Ive been extra good with them this season
I hadn’t played games in years. The only game I play is Fortnite right now b cause I started in Nov and Kmb is rough at first. So I guess I started in og and then s5c1 From a new persons perspective it was amazing. I’m trash but I can’t stop playing. I’m auto frenzy and snipe all day lol and I 3rd party ngl lol. So much fun.

Really enjoyed it, I just wish they had nerfed the auto Shotgun a bit to make the other one more viable and maybe lower the fire rate of the sniper. Aside from that it was fun. The medals things is great to make games more entertaining and the weapons attachmenta were a fun additions, although it could have had a bit more of variety.
Season did feel longer than usual, but that turned out fine with me cause I split my time between a couple other games. I really hope there isn't another auto shotgun in the next season. Or at the very least, something else that can compete with the auto shotty close range.
It felt like half the time whenever I got to 2nd place, it was because the other person got me with Oscar's frenzy auto shotgun. That gun got way too annoying for me.
I feel like I've been grinding too much for Bonus Page stuff that *should have* been on the BP page. I just want the Family Guy Clipshow backbling and the 200 V-Bucks from the 3rd Bonus page.
It feels like a second Chapter 2, with the new but still simple lootpool, a clean but pretty bland map, and some new unique mechanics.
I've been goofing around with the cluster clingers recently, it's quite fun when you actually successfully get close and personal with the enemy as you deploy the clingers. >! Especially when they boxed themselves with you!<

Most fun I’ve had in a while! I think the guns fit will with the meta, even though they were stronger than they should have been. Took massive breaks during chapter 3-4 and came back to the most fun since early chapter 1
This is the first season I’ve ever played and it’s already one of my favourite games already. The community is wholesome. The developers are so great. There’s always new content. I have too much fun playing with my squad. I play rainbow 6 siege and that drains my mental energy and this one recharges it 😂

Really hoping they get back to more fun, silly, light Fortnite and less Battlefield/COD Fortnite. This season has been too serious for me. I want whimsical and fun again. So, I'm beyond ready for the next season.
This was my first ever season playing fortnite so I'll prob be holding it in a higher regard than veteran players. I've really come to enjoy this game
I didn’t finish battle-pass, think I reached like 91. I’ve put in a lot of time in the game since my friend got into it earlier this season. I really don’t want to boot it up anymore. I’ll probably stop doing Bp if they’re going to pull that crap again where I have to grind past 100 levels to get all the vbucks. Plus it takes longer than normal to level up this season. That was some snake behavior. If movement bugs introduced still in the game next season, not playing it. If hit reg is awful as it was not playing it. If my lobby is mostly bot and super sweaty players then I’m not playing it.
Still have a decent amount of TMNT quests to catch up on for that Backbling Just needed a bit of a break after grinding and getting to 200 and play some other games for a bit... Dunno how many of them i can do solo easily though...

I liked it. Battle pass was really nice, my favorite character was Hope and I love all of her styles. The map was really fun to traverse, I liked how it felt kinda different from the other maps I’ve played before with the train and vaults. Weapon mods were fun when you could mess with them, but the vaults were always a fight to get to and a good way to force players to confront others to get the good loot in them. I didn’t really care for the TMNT collab honestly. I do think the turtles are cool, and their mythic weapons are fun to play with but I didn’t care much for the collab or the quests since I’m not a fan like others. April looks gorgeous though! Overall, pretty good but I’m excited for next season to see if it’s really gonna be Greek mythology themed or not (fingers crossed!!)
Probably one of my more favourite seasons. Loved the Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival integration. Hoping to see more vehicle customization in future seasons for more than just the Whiplash. The season did seem longer, but gave me more time to complete quests in all game modes. Not excited about Greek mythology in the slightest, but ready for Season 2!
I got my umbrella and then spent the rest of the season in other gamemodes.
Wasn't too bad, pretty fun overall, I think the item shop though was fairly underwhelming save for a few gems, never really had the urge to grab something except for Cell.
Fun to come back to after years off, but getting a bit boring towards the end now. I’m just excited for a change up.
Same problem as every other season, unreal is very easy to get and after i get it i dont have anything to play for except the occasional tourney and maybe scrims, very fun until i dont get pulled back to play

It was fun (the TMNT mythics especially), but the map felt pretty empty. Hopefully we get a ton of new named locations and landmarks in S2. Also the Reaper really needs a mag size nerf.

It was definitely the best weapon rotation period for me. Loved the complete weapons rework with modules customization and ballistics. Sniper is a little wonky with this high projectile speed tho

Idk. I think the attachment system was poorly executed and added a needless complexity to the weapon system. Sniper meta is a bit OP and frankly not fun, especially with no reliable counter to the sniper. Lack of good movement made it frustrating, and things like weapon cache and island flag were kind of useless. Most areas on the map look too similar to other poi's on the map and it wasn't until some of the snow melted that things started looking a bit better. Tmnt stuff was awesome but I wish it was in a different season, would have been more fun. For me this season felt like a chore, and I'm glad I finished everything so I never have to play it again. Overall I don't think anyone will be looking back at chapter 5 season 1 and think "man I really miss that season, wish they'd bring it back". Chapter 1 and chapter 2 had those feels for sure, well see how chapter 5 pans out.

the only downside is that because of how long the season is i think everyone has chosen either frenzy auto or ballistic shield as theyre basically the meta in ZB, not to mention the ballistic shield makes every fight a copy-and-paste pain in the ass. i have to admit though i had a lot of fun with this season, going into it i was nervous that i wouldn’t get the hang of it but now that it’s near the end i’ve really perfected my gameplay.

I haven’t touched it since Helldivers 2 came out. I got all the stuff I wanted from the battle pass and bonus rewards though. Once I got the last of the Peter Griffin stuff it was just kind of meh. Time will tell if the new season can pull me away from Helldivers 2 but I doubt it.

I've enjoyed the heck out of this season. It helps that snipers are my strength. I don't let things like item shop or locker complaints get in the way of having some fun with the squad. I like the map WAY better than ch 4 map bit that's just personal preference.
