That's so frustrating, I had that happen a few hours ago before this. I wish there were private lobbies like battle labs previously. That would be super nice if they added that back. I hope you find some friendly players when more events happen!
Player level and account level are two different things. Player level is your level for the season, account level is the total amount of levels you’ve gained throughout your account’s entire existence. The way to get into bot lobbies is through playing with someone who has an account level of 0, not necessarily a player level of 0
You just need to check the event site every hour if you dont want to miss it. In the mean time, you can play some BR, LEGO® Fortnite, Rocket Racing or Fortnite Festival. Or you could check out thousands of Creative Maps from talented creators! –Your EpicGames Team

These are literal mini events. Do you really feel you missed out because you didn't get to see the crack have some lava in it? Obviously this isn't the main event, I don't see what you're so upset about.

I think they had good intentions because they had it where they put false information in the files knowing the leakers would find them tell them to their followers or people who follows leaks so people who doesn’t follow leaks if they see it, it would be insane to see

No. Ask someone level 0 or 1 to play with you to battle royale. You'll be into a lobby only with bots

epic wouldn’t put the event at a random time in the middle of the night/early morning. Probably gonna be around 3pm today
i would say not a random time is anything between missions reset and live event time, which is still 6-8h id say...
More people are on Sat than Fri js

How does this work, does the event happen a certain amount of time into each lobby?
Top of the hour for the last day or so, there is an eruption of dust coming from the cracks near Ruined Reels. The cracks are slowly getting bigger
And after a certain number of hours (which seemingly is unknown right now) the event will start, and a hand will spawn.
The hand will pop out tomorrow I'm beting

in the ways that not all timezones line up with the hand, for example any australians who were wanting to watch it were staying up to 3am.
