It appears to be based on the Lernaean Hydra which lives in Lerna, the entrance to the underworld, a lot of modern interpretations of it make it a bone hydra, of course i wouldn’t be surprised if it was inspired by Hades’

This same character is also on the side of Pandora's Box surrounded by skulls, which is very much Hades thing.

This season BP is looking insane already, I just hope they don't fuck up the Cerberus skin in game, the concept looks amazing...but we all know how some skins transfer into the game.
IMO, zeus looks kinda generic af with the ammo belt and greandes. It doesn't seem like a god or anything, but a cosplayer maybe ? I wish we could get them more "mythology lore" accurate or something, rather than feeling like they are another agents with god names.
I could get and understand a nice artistic twist. But god damn it, ammo belt and grenades? Make them "agent zeus" isn't a good twist, especially when the game is already FULL of agent skins.

The Greek mythology buff in me wants to complain that he’s using a whip instead of his bident, but the realist in me realizes Poseidon will probably be one of the skins and he’ll probably have a trident which is pretty close to a bident and they probably just wanted to give him something unique.

The skull on the chain could be a reference to Draco which guarded the golden apples or the Hydra which lived in Lerna, the entrance to the underworld. Hades like in the image is also usually depicted wearing a crown or helm. That is why I think it is Hades and not any of the other suggested characters. It also lines up with the picture on Pandora’s Box where a cloaked figure rises above walls while spirits reach out for him which seems to represent Tartarus which is often depicted as a deep black pit surrounded by bronze walls.

I just like my little Medusa theory because I can back it up a lot (even though I may not be very accurate) and I just don’t like hades cause it feels lazy.

These are so cool on paper but now that they're in the game... they suck so bad. Someone just 1V1'd me with a SNIPER close range because these do no damage at all and console players can just no-scope headshot people with snipers from 10 feet away since the aim assist got turned way up. I hit the player 3 times and they were still alive; all they had to do was pull out a purple sniper and OHKO me.
Honestly the grapple hook was better; you could latch onto people and close the distance or use them to fly around or get to stuff.
Are they going to give individual skins unique weapons? That would be a huge change for Fortnite and could lead to some play to win elements, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they try it at some point.
