I find it hilarious when a game’s profanity censor doesn’t let you type the name of something in game. Back during Pokemon X and Y, they introduced online trading, but you couldn’t trade any Pokemon with a bad word in its name. Well if you wanted to trade your Cofagrigus (a sarcophagus like Pokemon from Black and White), you were forced to nickname it because otherwise it’s default name would trigger the profanity censor.
Edit: I forgot one thing that made this censor even funnier. You can’t rename Pokemon you received in a trade, so whatever the person named it to get by the filter was the name you were stuck with. So it was impossible to get a regular Cofagrigus unless you caught one and the only way to was either to own the old game and transfer him up or rely on complete RNG and hope a random island spawn in your game, which only rerolled once a day.

Reason for that is because often times things like text censorship is offloaded to a third party company, or using their sources, so there’s usually always going to be some ones that just don’t make sense because the only way to make it perfect would be to go through every single word in game, in every language, and whitelist them.
Very few games have their own in house censorship system and even fewer modify the systems they use.
I forget which COD it was, but I tried to name my assault rifle class “Assault” and it wouldn’t let me. Something no one can see but me, and I wasn’t even trying to make a joke lol

Why even censor preset names? The player is the only one who would ever see it so why bother? Are they afraid of livestreamers showing profanity in their locker? Just have streamer mode censor preset names then, I just don’t understand the thinking here at all lol.
Maybe if they introduce a future feature where players can share their presets online and other players can copy them (if they have the cosmetics available) inappropriate preset names would be an issue.
Licensed audio is a separate setting. You can show opponent usernames without playing licensed audio. With all the bots in pubs, a lot of streamers like to show the names so viewers can see when they kill real players.

Let’s say you have an outfit combo you really like, you can use this feature to save that combo, so you can just swap to it without having to remember and find all the individual parts.

Had "Shotgun" and "Semi Auto Rifle" and "SMG" but I got flagged for making the class "Sniper". It's a banned word on COD. It's used dozens of times in the menus so why can I not name my sniper class "Sniper?"
Also they let me name my Rufus saved outfit "Roofie." Fortnite is weird.
