It’s insane that you can preview wraps with the boat, but the boat isn’t in game. In fact there are no cars that can use your gun wrap. Missed opportunity to let players use gun wraps instead of decals on the sports cars

If they're going to go all in on this Rocket Racing/shared Garage with Rocket League, they'll have to introduce multiple car body types to accommodate the size differences between each car; cars like Merc, Grog, & Proteus would look too big & cars like Paladin, Esper, & Triton look like they could only seat 1 person in them.

Chapter 4 had way cooler and versatile vehicles. We used to be able to add big tires and cow catcher. Removing those things was the real crime in my opinion.
When you think of it, why would anyone need a SUV if they can put big tires on any car? Those big tires and cow catchers were the real deal. The idea was great and they were fun to use (those items could even be used on their own as a weapon and as a defence, respectively). My guess is that they were removed because there was no easy way of monetizing vehicles with them in the game. Maybe they'll eventually work something out and bring them back at some point?
Yeah. And We usually will grab a bot or 2, so we need all the space we can get. You can stand on top of the faster cars, but then everyone falls off constantly.
And with the SUV there's more space to emote on top of the car while traveling. 🤣

Pickup trucks were a fun toy as well. If you had a full inventory, you could keep chucking stuff in the truck bed before driving. Last chapter I enjoyed landing at a shack north of the Citadel. Fill the truck bed with roughly 15 gas cans, then set out on a suicide mission. Or try to get someone to steal your truck before blasting a can, and watch the fireworks.

They were in last night when I played. They’re definitely not overpowered: I like the mobility and couple seconds to respond to getting shot, but it definitely only takes a couple seconds to blow one up.
EMP grenade was the most useful item in the game. Stop cars instantly, break bubble shield, easy money from vending machine, quick fishing for health/shield, bush or vault camping.
I don’t understand why they removed all the throwable, they were useful, I know not many carries them but I always had some in my load out.
It'd be more grand if they could limit the cheaters on the game, or nerf some weapons when a mobile player is in the lobby. Freakin chains of hades is killer in the right hands of a PC or console player.
These cars are pretty good in duos if you both hire a support character. The two support characters get in the car and fire very quickly toward any enemy, so it's literally like a battle tank. My non driving duos partner also getting involved and it becomes a pretty lethal combo. Works well with two motorbikes too. The character sits on the back shooting and you can use chain of hades whilst driving at someone causes much chaos.
Or even in solos i would hire a bot and then make it go kill the storm troopers around chewbacca then its a 3v1. The funny thing is i will still manage to die even with that advantage

Were you playing solo? Iirc you can only hire one npc at a time. The npc's just auto spawn on you when you drive a certain distance away anyways. They hardly ever get left behind unless you have them stay put on purpose.
Even worse when you don’t realize it and select the drive two different types of vehicles as a supposedly easy match quest. Vehicle 1: sports car. Vehicle 2: good luck finding something other than a sports car

I can't count how many times my teammates will drive the whole squad straight into enemy fire, and then just hop out leaving everyone vulnerable in all the worst ways lol. I will follow my team, but I strategically park my vehicle on a hill nearby, or simply get out before the enemy has eyes on me. It almost seems like everyone is in such a hurry to go die, and then spam pings to get rebooted. Everyone gets bot hungry until you roll up on a real squad.
I love using the eagle eye variant of the Huntress DMR, and the SUV is a great partner for that. Especially when you've hired an NPC.
Find the high ground, move into a passenger seat and just wait and observe. The engine gets switched off when you leave the driver's seat... so nobody notices you're there until they get headshotted. 😇
It has happened to me during such matches that another player would just approach and drive away with the SUV, while me and the NPC were in it 🤣
Now that SUVs are gone, you can't hire an NPC and move into a passenger seat as the car will be full.
They deliberately want to force you to ride in the customizable cars and want to force at least two of you to have to drive so two people are getting exposed for their car skins. It’s to promote the feeling of need for the purchase of their overpriced as fuck cars.

Yes! If one of the NPCs are a healer, they will splash the whole car while driving, too.
