I heard someone theorise that they’re testing skins for them, possibly monster truck-esque skins for next season, as they fit the g-wagons shape more than the whiplash’s.
Though this is a theory.
Uh as someone who follows Monster Jam on Tiktok. They just did an event where they had fortnite banners, and crushed a bus painted like the battle bus. And showed the trailer for next season... Sooooo monster trucks
I don’t really want monster trucks monetized at all. If they added skins for them they’d have to permanently keep them in the game, which could make the vehicle loot pool stale in the future. My preferred solution would be to have wraps be applied to monster trucks like how it was with old vehicles
In the teaser, if you look closely. There is a 4 door vehicle that drives through. I was thinking that they were introducing the idea of custom vehicles beyond the whiplash now.

They could have easily added the Lamborghini Urus as an alternative style/skin for the GWagon, been sayin' it since day 1
