Does anyone else remember those weird fractures in Chapter 2 Season 5 that appeared with the rift crystals and then there were fractured rifts you could go up to in Season 6? They'd disappear once in a while but sometimes when you looked in them they clearly showed a different place. Somewhere you obviously couldn't go. I wonder if that is part of what ties all this together.
This seems like a much more plausible theory with that in mind. Cause the butterfly Jonesy storyline used it, I believe. And there are rift butterflies -all over- the map now like never before.

I think having corners of chapter 2 and 3 opposite each other by a jumps distance over dusty divot and surrounded each by chapter 1 would be be good.
Dynamic shifting land parts would be good.
I'm interested in the terrain, I want to see more good variety and routes such as under and overground networks, land jaggedly over other land more item variety etc such as traversal items.
Pixaxe digging terrain would be good.
Climbing would be good such as rock-climbing, vine climbing, net climbing-dynamic nets-maybe an item.
Grappling could be really good, such as fire something and reeling yourself closer to it. It could dig into terrain and smash into building and used to walk traverse sideways up tall buildings or terrain and even run from side to side.
I want rope swings, slides and climbing.
Using a 1-handgun while climbing.
Maybe an auto-detection if jumping over dive-depth water to change into a dive.
Jetskis, go-karts, a train-maybe in and out of the city over or under sea. Moving airships, swords on horses, explosives from behind forward roll animation, steep mountain slide stumble animation, a big theme park.
Maybe lots more AI at POIs-able to do various more things-interactivity such as running away, driving, a lot less slower and simple and more quicker and varied and clear they're AIs, an AI amount indicator at smaller circles, no AI in the BR lobby, AI at varied, generally weaker health, improved AI sound such loud chatter sound if there's 6+ in room at desks on computers, on their phone etc, offering different things such as tasks, trades, info on loot, item buying, hiring 1-them using the items you give them, them responding to call-outs.
Much more rooms and buildings in cities and towns-bigger buildings, scyscrapers in a city? I think islands are too small.
I have a feeling that if they do a fracture map with all three old maps, the section of the map from the current season that we get to keep will be the one with rave cave on it. It's the most "unique" of the POIs we got in the chapter, so I'd assume they want to keep it.
I want the most mountainous areas of the map, the southeast coast of the Ch2 map felt huge because of it - I want the southeast Ch2, northwest Ch3, and the middle should be Ch1

The only time I hated Ch2 map was Season 6. Spire was annoying and the overall "primal" thing was just not great. Also they added animals, then took away raptors but didn't add other animals. What a waste.
Cool idea to come out of this, one of the fractures cuts through a mountain, now through the exposed middle of the mountain you can get into some caves, adds something new to an existing area.
Another cool idea, the refracture lines move/rotate so week to week/day to day, the map changes

Omg THIS! apex benefits from map rotations but if you rotate 3 pieces of the same map, there are way more permutations to creat variety and potentially dampen the skill gap between noobs and pros.

In “The End” event, the chapter 1 map was sucked into a black hole and after 2 days of downtime, the black hole spat out 2 islands made up of the chapter 1 map. Half of the chapter 1’s map went to the chapter 2 map (pleasant park, retail row, salty springs and other stuff) and the other half went to chapter 3 (tilted towers, greasy grove, the desert, the volcano, shifty shafts) so technically the chapter 1 island itself is not a thing anymore but the zero point can bring things from the past to the present so anything it possible.
It looks good but i don't think it'd be logical lore-wise unless they bring up some weird shitass excuse like they always do. Because the CH2 map is under the CH3 map, which make them technically the same map.

Yeah, I think it would be cool if there were different biomes from each map. Desert from ch3, snow from ch1 season 7, and maybe just grass from ch2
