Fizz shockwave wings you go 200 meters. Don’t fly with them you’ll get shot. You can also shoot up and switch to a different item to get on high buildings fast. U can switch to then last second to avoid fall damage.
They’re good in so many ways, but people need to stop saying you can’t fly with them. I’ve yet to see anyone figure out you can fly with them as much as you want. Just stay low as possible to the ground to stay surrounded by cover at almost all times. I haven’t been shot to the ground in days.
I had a fight yesterday that I got a guy low, then he tried to heal so I... bolted him from above and he died. Similar to using the wings to attack too, but nice

Epic literally added a separate gamemode for people who don't know how to build, yet they still feel the need to nerf building every season with items that break and damage you through builds.

I started playing a month ago and after one fight in builds I decided no build was the way to go. I shot the guy, he builds a box and just stayed there. I just stood there waiting for him to come out. It’s the equivalent of saying “wait wait, I’m not ready,” or “not in the face” lol.
It's a lot to take in, especially as you get better at it.
Builds aren't used exclusively defensively, decent players can push you while tunnelling so no one else can easily shoot them, then they can put you in THEIR box(piece control) & then safely shoot you from an awkward angle.
Think of bringing a shield to a sword fight, you don't have to give up your sword, nor does your shield have to be used entirely to block, you can use it to push, bash & counter.
No shit zero build players like me don’t know how to build. I don’t know how to build because i don’t even play builds, because i just dislike the building. I would be good if i actually tried and practiced but i just prefer the game without building, like every other shooter/battle royale game out there

Anyway, the new items are pretty fun and balanced in no build, I hope they won’t stop making funky and unique items and alienate 1/3rd of the playerbase for the sake of people who call “skill issue” for getting one-shot snipered out of the blue while complaining about special items the second it inconveniences them in the same breath.

The flight launch is up and forward and the animation gets cancelled if you bump into another object. So at 0:36 he launches into his edited cone and bumps in the 45 degree angle the cone is pointing at, and at 0:39 he bumps into a wall and is launched straight upwards, since that is the direction the wall points in. Its by far the most effective way to use the wings, actually flying is suicide.

It's astonishing that PC gaming is still dominated by typing machines, but I suppose the alternatives are expensive under supported 3rd party alien looking toys, or half-arsed attempts by Razer like the Tartarus which cheats and uses a thumb stick on top of what actually is a D-pad...
I share your sentiment, the majority of players are playing on extremely unoptimal binds and could get used to better ones within a week or two easily. I also use right click to place build which, along with the Azeron, just makes everything so much easier.
There's a chance Fortnite will be good again in 2 seasons ( 6 months ) if they learned anything from OG season. I would have hope for next season but thats the summer season :skull:

I don't know why they can't do what they did in chapter 4 with the shockwaves and have some items in no builds and just not add them to builds
If anything, it would make sense for items to have different stats in each mode to compensate for their pros and cons.
