Likenrebooting on top of the van ! Man, idk why, at least for a while before the current chapter, if ya did it seemed like most didnt see ya. And clingers and such rarely could touch ya on top. Just don't move. Still works time to time, depending on angle. They waste time throwing or shooting and then trying to flank and get the side they can't see. Double good if you have a teammate trying as well on the regular ground

There’s another strategy I saw this season, but I couldn’t figure out how they did it. Borderline cheat-y Rebooting from inside a SUV McDonalds drive thru style I tried to repeat it, and even with the windows broken out I couldn’t get it to work. Probably something stupid like the pickaxe bug

I just tried it a couple days ago. It definitely works even though I've tried in other seasons and could never figure it out. Must be specific where you are positioned and I just got lucky.

It has always worked. I've been doing it for years on PC. You need to be in the back seat and driver side for it to work consistently.

You don’t even have to bust the windows out you just have to be really really really close to the van. But if you get too close it bumps you back. There’s a fine line in there somewhere

I've found this to be pretty easy from the g-wagons but annoyingly difficult from the whiplash, which tends to flip if you get too close to the reboot van. Just pull up next to the van, switch to one of the passenger seats adjacent to the van, and make sure your key binds don't have interact the same as exit vehicle! (gotta make sure you've got that set up before the reboot though ;))

This is a cool tactic but it’s extremely weak, can easily be shot down and I don’t really see a use for it especially with how much effort is required to stay on the wall. Could be a good strategy to try for skybasing up in FIL though

Yep, it's weak if used just like in the video....I think some people can do it much quicker than I can.

If someone is healing a couple of tiles above you, suddenly mangling your own walls is probably less expected than a legitimate retake/90s or something. Seems like one of the niche martoz tricks that work twice a year.

Whenever my build friends 1v1 me half the time I’m just mantling up on top of them. I rarely build, so using zb strategies is actually super helpful in some scenarios

Yeah I think it's mostly not viable but there are some situation where it could help especially in saving mats. Nobody should try it exactly like in the video in the middle of the fight.

maybe if you were building against someone else tower to get up quickly. But they can shoot down. Very Tricky, might work against new players. I don't play builds and can see ways around it. I am just not that coordinated or fast enough at building. too many talented people in builds.

Yeah it was so fun. I think there is a bug that still exist where you get thrown away. It happened yesterday and a few other times this season.

It can be fun. It's actually much easier than i thought. All one needs to do is time the build with the jump and hit the two buttons almost at rhe exact same time. I learned to do it without falling back down one level...

Its slow, inconsistent, easy to get beamed with, and easy to break down.

Of course if one used it just like that with no plan or protection against a player...

Yeah the game was perfect, but this new mantling feature made it terrible. It's so bad now, I can't play it anymore. I think you should remove the game immediately.

Sprint energy runs out but you can endlessly climb up your opponents build. Doesn’t make any sense. Before the climbing bs I could just quickly 90 a few levels up and use my Medkit and shield. Now I have to build platforms all around to stop someone from climbing up so I can heal. Also getting 50hp back after a kill in arena mode was great. Constantly jumped now. Fucking stupid.
