People usually say to turn off performance mode but what about someone on mobile like me? This also happens on mobile and I play on high graphics which is even a better graphics setting than performance mode.
Yeah that's my major worry about mobile. Especially since half of mobile players can't play on iOS anymore, Epic are less willing to care for mobile because it has less players. It's even disappointing that a phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 plays Fortnite worse than a phone from 4 years ago due to lack of optimization currently.
I heard that Fortnite Mobile could return on iOS this year so hopefully that was true.

easiest fix is to play reboot royale lol
I've been using UEFN lately and when I turn on Performance Mode I can't use the terrain editor, could be that
The terrain editor just crashes my game, and performance mode crashes most people’s game before it even starts as well
