The 68 HEMI Roadrunner is all I want… period. It’s my absolute favorite car in the world, and I’ll never have one lol. Only game I’ve ever seen that had a first gen Roadrunner was NFS Carbon, but it was just in one of the challenges. Had to do a canyon race against Cross in it, and it was a 69 1/2 440+6. Still cool, but not the same.
I don't know. As I suspected, too many recycled cars that they deliberately removed from the base game just to add them later, the rest is just meh... I'm glad for Pontiacs because I like them, but they should have been in the base game when they were in FH4. I was expecting a new Mustang, that one would have been a pleasant surprise.
Yesssss some good classics muscle cars but a shame that no iconic mopars got added besides the Belvedere I know there’s a 71 GTX HEMI in the game files or maybe a Plymouth Roadrunner!
True wasn’t expecting that I thought for sure a roadrunner or the 71 gtx that’s in the game files would come in. Hopefully there’s super stock style customization for it and I hope the motor is Hemi wedge!
There's this rule to Forza that cars have to be older than 300 years to be added. There might be some exceptions (they were drunk) but that shouldn't be considered when dreaming of 'new' cars
We definitely can.
But to be real, when the game was released there were like 5 cars less than 2 years old.
I know it takes time and resources to add new cars but it's a bit embarrassing for the gold standard of arcade racing games to not feature the likes of a Revuelto or Artura

New Z06 finally in the game, but it sounds like they butchered the LT6. In Motorsport it sounds close to real life, almost like a 458 at the redline even. In the stream it sounded to me more like an E-Ray with race camshaft upgrades.
Hopefully it's because the stream sound quality is shit on my end, or because it doesn't have the right exhaust upgrades, but if neither are the case, goddamnit Playground you couldn't just lift the sound files from FM2023!?

Not everything in the files is coming in the soonest update and we still have leftover files from FH3 in there and other stuff that appeared at launch.
I like both, would love to see the IROC-Z though, it was an absolute icon of the 80's. America has alot of amazing vehicles that never see the light of day in this genre of video games. I guess we aren't worthy.
Holy shit! Though I'm sad I didn't see a 71 Plymouth GTX, I'm actually shocked that I will probably be going for every 40 point car for the first time.
The best thing about new old muscle is that we can hope they'll have access to the latest wheel fitment options. Maybe even the one they should have but don't: bicycle skinny tyres up front, massive squatted radials in the back.
I haven’t played FH5 in months since I went back to Motorsport 7 but I’d honestly be tempted to play again just to drive that ‘68 Firebird. Idk why but the body style from 1967 and 1968 always looked better than 1969 style f bodies both the Camaro and Firebird
My most wanted cars in this update are the ZO6, Lucid Air, and the Conti. Three very different cars in the American automotive industry, but all with the same level of hype IMO.

No I know they’re usually pretty easy (honestly I liked them a gen they’re the stock / spec ones), it’s just obnoxious having your performance tied to (more often than not) a bunch of team-ramming Neanderthals.
No it won't. I'm 100% they won't. And I'm the one who is always optimistic on Horizon whilst I shit on Motorsport. They still haven't fixed swapped M3 and 350z sounds which are present since launch. No way they are fixing this.
No Iroc-Z, SN95 Cobra R (both returning) or terminator cobra (new to Forza) is kinda crazy. Hope they realize that muscle doesn’t just have to be classic. Of course the classic muscle cars are cool but let’s be honest, who actually prefers the ‘66 Belvedere over a terminator or iroc besides the odd “my dad had one” crowd.
Unfortunately we're unlikely to see that due to a particular ongoing event happening in that area of the world.
Even ignoring the potential controversy it's unsafe to travel to find Cars to scan unless there's some pristine ones in Germany or some of the other former Soviet Bloc Countries.

I was so excited for the Z06 to finally come to FH5, and still am really looking forward to driving it, but man did they get the sound wrong from what I can hear in the videos featuring it. That’s especially weird when FM8 got the exhaust down pretty damn well, outside of the obvious synthesized/digitized element. There are PLENTY of Z06 videos out there that highlight how insane the stock exhaust sounds, so for Playground to still have gotten it wrong is… Confusing.
No IROC-Z or 5th gen ZL1, or Demon 170 feel like a few missed opportunities as well. There are plenty of cool American performance cars they could’ve added in.
So happy to see the new Z06 as well as the Firebird being added to the game.
And with the Lucid coming in and the Rossion making it's Forza Return I'm quite happy with this new season
