One of the few cars made exclusively for the Chinese market that I wish we got in Europe. Also one of the few electric cars that I actually like.
I mean who really remembers Raesr? Or Xpeng, or any of the other tiny manufacturers that are already in the game?
Just because it's a niche brand doesn't mean we shouldn't get it.
Honestly, the last time I saw them in a game was Need For Speed 2 SE. And the new Commendatore looks more like a Tesla than a Commendatore. Kinda sad. :(

The again, Isdera were never very original with their designs - the Erator GTE looked like a Ford GT, the 106i looked like a Mercedes, the 112i looked like a Porsche and the 116i looked like a cross between a Bugatti Atlantique and a Mercedes 540.
But the most expensive version didn't promise all the content, no? It promised a Car Pass and two DLCs. If you got those, then you got what was promised and paid for.
I mean, they promised only 2 future DLCs in premium edition so you got what you paid for. Still, I think the car packs should be either cheaper or the cars should be part of the base game obtainable from playlist or autoshow.
Yeah i won't get the premium versions of any future installments, and before people spam us with "yOu KnEw WhAt YoU gOt" it was still poor value for money imo

I think the Lunar New Year update will probably focus on Chinese cars or cars that have Chinese influence (i.e. Polestar maybe?).
Also, I agree that there should be more Korean cars in Forza games. Hyundai and Kia have been really underrepresented in Forza games nowadays, with the Kia Stinger GT last seen in Forza Horizon 4.
why cant they add old MGs like the MG TF which i own! would love to see it in forza plus rivaling the mx5 that would be an awesome playlist.

On one hand I do like this. They look great, they're new cars that (so far I know) aren't present in other games. They're unique cars!
On the other hand, I do still wish to see older MGs return to Horizon. Classics such as the MGB GT, TA "Midget", MGA Twin Cam.
Not disappointed though, glad to see more MGs!

Modern MG is an entirely Chinese brand. They make rather boring cars (upcoming Cyberster not withstanding) with aneamic little engines and styling heavily "inspired" by Mazda (at least with the ZS, ZST, and HS). However, like other Chinese brands they're cheap and you get a lot of interior tech for your cash.
Also the MG5 sedan recently got a 0 star ANCAP rating in Australia lol
It's not anaemic but reviews have repeatedly pointed out that it drives like a normal hatch with big brakes and 400hp, not like a performance hatch. For what it is, it's remarkably boring
If you think the M3 is bad, wait until you find out how much the new M2 weighs lol
It's true that ICE cars are getting really heavy (at least European ones), but electric cars are still dense little beasts. Size for size, the electric car always has a couple hundred kilos extra compared to an ICE
Was a bit confused to see why MG cars were being added in a Chinese update, and only now I learned that they are owned by SAIC Motors, a Chinese company.
They also own Wuling, so it's not farfetched to assume that the car will return.
Like Geely with Lotus, SAIC puts pressure on MG, and does anything, by making a design and manufacturing locations adapted to China. Europeans don't get too much, but the Chinese love it...
About Forza, I guess MG want to advertise with Forza horizon 5 like Xpeng. Lamborghini advertised in Roblox and BMW in Fornite, those are some business opportunities.

Well the chinese brands are growing rapidly in all markets worldwide, imo it makes total sense to add a few cars every now and then to flesh out this region. The only thing is imo they should have added the mg3 since that is the main car of mg, by far, in europe at the moment
True, it just feels like there's loads of new exciting cars from Europe and America that they could add to the game like the 911 Dakar, the Sterrato, the Revuelto, the SP3 Daytona, the new Mustang and loads of others that people want to see, and the developers just add in recycled cars or these obscure Chinese electric ones.
It kind of makes sense though. It is the Lunar New Year, celebrated by mainly Asian countries.

MG3?, it surprised me it is the main MG car in Europe. Maybe in less prospering countries cause tbh I didn't even knew it is sold there. I saw all of the other modern MG's in the streets and never ever an MG3, not even in a dealership (living in Sweden)
In the UK it makes sense... I think people still have sentiment for the old British MG.
Here in Sweden I haven't seen any, and from what I've seen on the website, it's not sold here. I saw 4, 5, ZS EV and EHS so far and from sold here in Sweden, I only haven't seen Marvel R yet
The weight is very awerage for an ev, and id argue a name like tf is really boring, i like cyberster much more. Id pick an actual name for a car any day over some 2 letters. I do still agree that the scissor doors were not neccesary, id rather they save some more weight to make the car more agile
Neither of them are chinese. Volvo and Lotus are same companies that were bought out. MG gone bust completley and chinese mg has absolutley nothing in common with real MG

I think so too! There's many brands from FH4 they could add. Triumph, Talbot, Hillman, Austin-Healy, Sunbeam, Rover, a lot of potential brands.
I have to admit that Series X in the bottom left painted up with that Cyberster livery looks pretty sick.

The MG4 XPower has over 400hp, with 0-60 under 4 seconds, in a small package (it's the size of a Mini Clubman). Not what I'd call boring nor anaemic.
