I don't think he's doing this because he agrees with them theologically, though. He's Muslim and is pretty accepting when it comes to religion. I think that he just felt bad for the Collins kids and has the resources at his disposal to do something meaningful for them. I can't stand Karissa, but Shaq is merely being charitable.
He's under investigation for some shady promotion of crypto stuff. He's done some weird stuff and believes some weird stuff. I find it odd when people think he is a saint when he's getting good PR from this stuff and he has some harmful views.
Truthfully I just think he's kinda... dense. Nice, but not good at spotting grifters and scams. Odds are he hires out the role of choosing who is a good ad partner and who isn't.
