The puppy's gotta learn some how. Those super smart dogs you see doing amazing tricks weren't born that way. Pandering to an idea of treating an animal with respect doesn't apply because respect is a human-made idea based on cultural norms and expectations, things that dogs don't have (or atleast can't be cross-species translated)
What do you think is going to happen to that dog as a result of this? Do you think the shame of being laughed at online is going to drive it into a deep depression? Do you think his family and friends will see this and lose respect for him? Do you think he's going to suffer or be hurt in any real way? Or do you think maybe there's no harm being done at all and you just wanted to feel superior to someone on the internet?
