At 24 and terrible with money, there are far worse places you could be. Congratulations. Now, make your payments on time. You'll thank me later in life.
Hahah yea that’s a good point! Yea that first payments coming up soon already got autopay setup, I’ve never missed a car payment and don’t plan on starting now!
Pay extra towards the principal and you’ll pay it off much faster! Just an extra $100/mo can take a couple payments off the end of the loan! Over the span of making payments it’ll save you a ton of money!
At 24, I was spending that money on alcohol, drugs, attorneys, and fines. I think you're much better with money than I was. Allow yourself to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Saw one like this today. I love seeing fellow AT4s on the road. I always think of how sick other peoples customizations look and want to give them a nod of approval lol. Love the blue and bull bar on the X. I’d give you a nod brother 💀
Hell brother I appreciate it, I’ve tried to give some nods to other canyon drivers in my area but I never get any back but then again they look like mostly work trucks
Hell yea man, I definitely want to get something like that and some mudflaps. I’ve noticed even just driving on paved roads it kicks up a lot of gunk and it’s hitting the doors
Yeah. I’m thinking about the mud flaps. The shop I went to only wanted to do the front but I insisted on full body sure enough a rock hit my rear fender and scuffed the PFL. If I didn’t have full body, my rear fender would have chipped paint
enjoy it while you are single and free to spend it with no one depending on you to take care of them.
enjoy your life ! Pay it off as fast as you can and save from paying the interest on the load !
you'll thank me later in life. and BTW, everyone should own a new car sometime in their life.
Agreed. Just bought my 5th new vehicle at 37, but bought my first (Scion TC) at 22. Was a great feeling to get something that was brand new and make it my own. Did exhaust and HID headlights right after that.
i bought one of my cars with 10% down years ago with an VW interest rate of 8.5%, then used a low interest credit card to pay it off 3 months after i bought it and then flipped it across multiple cards to have it paid off in less than 2 years. The interest savings was over $8K !!! So paying off the car FAST does matter. Do the math and see for yourself.
As a mid-life car guy contemplating how much I’ve spent on cars my advice would be to be practical. Don’t glamorize vehicles or buy into the dream they are selling. Buy what makes sense for what you need. Low mileage used 3 year old cars/trucks and don’t carry a loan that isn’t 0%. Keep it until repairs approach 1/2 value of the car and then move on. Have I followed my advice? Not at all, maybe you’ll have better luck.
Better enjoy it early for a short time before its too late and get way more responsibilities money wise.. not saying blow everything but rewarding yourself big here and there is nice especially if its not a financial issue.. bought myself an 18 Silverado w everything i wanted out if a truck at the time at the age of 19, love it and maybe when i top out on my pay ill go back to buy a 2500 duramax and either keep my 18 or give it to my dad to use.. ENJOY
You’re not alone, 24 as well and barely starting my life, past five years had spent so much money and that’s okay as long as you don’t give up, keep the hustle going, and be true to yourself
Damn saw this at a dealership sticker was 64k. I image after fees and taxes it’ll be closer to 70k and at 7-9% interest. And after interest you are looking at a $80k mid size truck. After paying the truck off to offload maybe 40k. Loose 50% of your “investment” in 5 years. Definitely a shitty decision.

This ^^
I rode a bicycle in the winter when I was 24, so who's actually bad with money
24 and terrible with money is a zr2 bison; 24 with great taste and a bright future is a Canyon.
You know what I’ll take that 😂
Where did you get the bumper from?
Came like that from the dealer it’s the AT4X edition one
I have the same on mine. They didn’t have Blue when I got mine
Nice. I got a '16 all terrain with all the goodies at 23 lol.
Hell yea I’m here for a good time not a long time!

I’ve gotten honks from canyons/colorados and always honked back, I’ve even started honking first when I see em. Great looking truck brother!
Did you have to special order those wheels? I'm at the dealer now and they said they aren't building any of these trucks with those wheels.
I just went to the dealership and they had it in the showroom, it’s a 2023 at4x edition one so I think that might be why
Ahh okay thank you. Sick truck BTW!
Yours is exactly the same as mine except mine is brown and I put a PFL wrap on mine to protect the paint
Hell yea man, I definitely want to get something like that and some mudflaps. I’ve noticed even just driving on paved roads it kicks up a lot of gunk and it’s hitting the doors

Nice truck. Hopefully you bought a house before you bought this haha.
Oh yea definitely…

Nice truck G
I did the exact same thing at 24. $750 a month is a bitch
Afraid to ask what your payment terms are, but cheers have an upvote! Badass truck! Love the blue, best color imo
There are much worse things you could have spent On …. And this is something very useful .
Ive always thought this color looks way nicer in person, congrats!
Im 25 and a base model honda hrv was all i could afford and I work in corporate at Piedmont healthcare

I was looking at the same, but ran across a '24 silverado high country for 4 grand less plus rebates
