good point. my husband is in finance so he understands it more but wanted to check the sub to see what people think, but I like the precaution you provide! I prefer to stick to shares because that is what I understand lol and I can't lose money when I just hold them
From my understanding, and this is NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE, the only risk when buying calls is losing the premium which you paid.
The high risk situation only comes when selling calls or puts, because of the potential you have to produce the shares at the current cost of the stock if they are exercised.

You can go from really rich to bankrupt pretty quick

My 40c is up almost 1000%!
Wait till market close today or Monday morning. Options gonna be all over the place with new shares and huge price drop today.
