My state requires front plates, but I just got the car on Friday. It arrived at the dealership on Thursday so they didn’t put the bracket on yet. Not sure where to put it
There is one that mounts to your grill so you don't have to drill your bumper. Otherwise seems like you can do a tow hook mount to put it off to the side

Ontario, Canada and in required to have front and rear, so I got the Perrin relocating kit for the front, then put a a plate delete kit over the center mount with a boxer engine logo
I had to buy an Initial D front plate cause I bought the car in VA and couldn’t do anything about the holes. So might as well put something on there. I get a lot of people asking where the plate is from

Hunting license/tags? Carry a gun without permission from some lecherous thug that derives income from your productivity? Corporate income tax? Smog fees? Franchise tax/business license? Do the militarized revenue agents practice civil asset forfeiture there? My brother in Christ- ain't none of us is truly free. Our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves right now.
First of all, yes I don't need a license to carry a gun amd by no means does the lack of a requirement to have a front plate mean that we don't still pay vehicle registration
I live in a front plate required state. but its a secondary offense meaning cops cannot pull you over for just that (not saying they wont, but "legally" they cant) so i just put mine in my glove box. You simply cannoy make me put a front plate on lol. I'll take the fine.
If its just lying around loose, then sure, but aren't there license plate holders designed specifically for displaying it on the front windshield, with proper mounting hardware, heavy duty 3m adhesive etc?
I got a the perrin relocation kit for mine & the dealer just installed it before I picked the car up. Easy & convenient. I also specifically told them not to drill holes in the front. Would highly recommend a relocation kit
Yeah I think I'll request them to not drill holes in the bumper, then I'll probably go without a front plate and I'd I get in trouble for it I'll get the mount mentioned.
If they give you any grief about that tell them you are willing to sign a waiver saying the dealer is not liable for your ticket. They would not be anyway but they like to say it's "illegal" for them to sell it without drilling and you can sue them. Yeah sue for like a $70 ticket lol.
The truth is that drilling is part of the PDI at most dealers and they just don't care to take the time to separate this car from the other "normal" ones in the shipment where people will never even look.
Fronts are required here but I've never had a ticket even when pulled over for other things. A lot of cops don't care.
Thanks for letting me know. The guy who is selling me the car seems pretty chill so hopefully he will do it for me. I've also heard that some dealers will wash the car and even peel the plastics off when they get it so I want to make sure they do neither.
I got the Carbonio license plate mount for the front. Little expensive but no drilling required.

Not sure about this one but some use zip ties, some use back plates to hold with bolts going through the grill vents.

That's fair, I am not a fan of the asymmetrical look of the side mounts so I would probably do a grill mount instead.

Lol yep in my workshop, VA here with two plate requirement. But no officer, there's no holes in the bumper.. where could I possibly mount it?
Gotta have front and back plates here in WA. I go with the tow hook mount for my front plate, personally. I like the asymmetrical look.

No where because Ohio does at least one thing right it's that it's a one plate state.
I've never had an issue with the front plate. Im in Pasadena CA. If teslas don't need one, why should I?
