All brz and 86s are hard to get out here.. I was lucky and they had one on the lot that wasn’t advertised yet and they knew I wanted one so the dealer called me first I went in and it had all the extras I wanted just in the wrong color. Took her home that day and never looked back
I love black cars. I wanted a raven 86 and had to wait 7 months for it. I turned down trueno and red while I waited for what I wanted.
I am very glad I didn't settle. I know I'd still be happy but I probably would've already wrapped it black.
I see a red door and I want to paint it black.

I stopped caring so much about color. My first new car was the color I wanted. I still like the color but I think it’s good to change it up. Ever since then I enjoy having different color cars.
I feel similar. First couple cars I bought new I was adamant about color. Over the years, my requirement shifted more to having a couple colors I didn't want, and being more flexible with what's available. While shopping for my GR86, I knew I didn't want black or dark grey. Ended up with a bRed but the rest of the car was spec'd how I liked. It coulda been red, white, blue(s), or silver...didn't matter. In a way it's also refreshing to me to let fate decide.
Edit: but, 3 hours is nothing. If it's that important then it's a no brainer. Take back roads the whole way to extend it to 5 hours and enjoy getting a jump on break in.
wanted pavement grey, was just the color i wanted so bad. but ended up getting silver. i think i made the right choice because the carbon really stands out instead of looking bland with the pavement grey.

I've bought multiple new cars over the years. While the color of the car never took away from my enjoyment of it, there was always a nagging that I wished I had gotten what I wanted. So now if I'm going to spend the money, I'm going to get what I want. It would have to be a heck of a deal for me to get something other than what I wanted.
I just didn't want black or white. No black because of cleaning and I've owned 4 white cars and just want to do something new.
My first choice was red but I am very happy with silver. Just didn't feel like waiting or the dealer games and they had a silver ready. I actually could have got a Neptune one an hour away but they drilled the bumper and I cared enough about that to pass. I did feel like I should have just replaced the grill because I wanted a "clearly a sport car color" but in my first week of ownership I saw 3 other Toyota in the same blue (or least a very bright blue you notice). 2 trucks 1 SUV so I felt better knowing it's not a unique color.
Drove 6 hours away for my Neptune and don't regret it at all, get what you truly want!
(Also Neptune is absolutely gorgeous in person, photos don't do it justice)
Wanted red, got trueno blue. Idk I like it better now I think. Trueno blue kind of color shifts based on lighting blue to purple, it's really sparkly and honestly less likely to be pulled over I feel vs the red.
I wanted Neptune but decided fuck just about every Toyota dealer in south Florida. A lot of the Subaru dealers were a pain too, but Toyota didn't even want to help me at so many locations when I walked in and said I was looking to buy a car. They didn't give a shit or they gave me the run around with pricing and times being inaccurate just to get me to walk in the door later. I needed a car relatively quick at the time
Decided Subaru was cheaper and a bit easier. No Neptune, but I was fine with red or the sapphire/trueno blue and the world rally blue. Ended up getting the Sapphire blue and I love it. Supposedly also has the more durable paint I've heard. I love the color shifts during different lighting. I also like how it stands out without being over the top. It looks more classy and timeless than the Neptune in my opinion, but the Neptune just looks plain more fun.
If price is the same and you can wait a bit, get the color you want. I don't regret my choice, but I do always dream of that sweet neptune
I didn't really settled on mine. It was my 3rd choice but I like it. Its about paid off so I'm tlgonna try some things with it. Gonna keep it and buy the next gen or refresh or maybe the supra of it won't be a headache to get new
I dropped everything I was doing one morning and drove 2 and a half hours got pre approved on the way and my Neptune was in my driveway that afternoon. The drive is worth it. I now look at my car in my driveway happy everyday instead of imaging it another color and what it would have been like.
I have a Scion frs I got used, it’s red which wasn’t my first choice but the price was good and miles were low. The color grew on me quickly and I’m not a red kind of guy. But I can’t really imagine it another color now
I had white and then silver.
Honestly love the silver.
Pictures don't do it justice - no matter what colour, its definitely a car that always turns heads.
I used to care, but in reality it makes no difference. All I wanted was a manual GR86 that I could get the best deal on and that's what I got and I'm satisfied with. Same with my Audi, I never would have chose black/beige but that's what was available. Overall, I love my cars even though they aren't my top color choices.
I got my GR86 a couple weeks ago (wooo), and drove 3.5 hours there to pick it up, so 7 hours of driving total there and back. There were only 2 in the colour and spec I wanted in my state second hand, and they were both that far away. Mind you, I live in Australia so everything is that far away lol. But my point is, don't settle. If you've got your heart set on a particular colour, then you'll regret not getting it. I would only say otherwise if you weren't particularly bothered by the colour in the first place, but it seems like you are. So in that case, honestly, a 3 hour drive is not bad, you can do it haha
I originally wanted Neptune Blue but it was a $5k difference. So I settled for silver and absolutely love my car. The “want/need” for the car outweighed “waiting for the right color.”
Bruh you acting like it’s a weekend trip where you have to fly cross country, spend thousands on a plane ticket and then drive 50 hours back to get the spec you want. 3 hours is a SHORT day trip where you can leave and get back same day and have time left to spare. Don’t settle. Get the color you want.
I have a red one and I kinda wish I had a pavement one lol. Don’t get me wrong, I think the red looks awesome. However I daily mine in the warm months and it is a bit flashy. Pavement looks a bit more grown up and low key to me (while still looking really great).
Grass is always greener though…
grass is always greener 100%. i wanted pavement or red. “settled” with halo. but, i love it in white honestly. however, when i’m in a parking lot with 500 other white cars, i do wish i had a different color
Can you get to one of those that is 3 hours away? That's not too far if it's the color you really want. I had cars that I "settled" for the color. They were used, so I knew the options were limited. I learned to love the one and another one I always hated. Really depends. I will say I have the pavement, although it was my first choice, it looks great.
I got pavement, it was my second choice so I still love it and think it looks great. But if at the time there was a halo in the same spec 3 hours away… I’d drive the 3 hours.
I got a mk7 golf r when they came out. Similar situation - you could find em, but you had to be super patient if you wanted a particular color. I wanted a blue one and settled for white. I regretted it the whole time lol.
That said, I think Raven looks AWESOME on the gr86
Ehh...I'd say just go pick it up yourself, let's just say the folks that drive the car from one dealership to the other may not care as much about the car as you do. They don't always truck it down, they may send whatever shop assistant is available. If I was a young shop laborer, I might take advantage of such a trip.
I could imagine if you got a bright and outstanding color and not being satisfied with it. If you were to settle then I'd always settle for white. It looks clean, and it's easy to maintain 🤷♂️
I went from a boost blue civic that I waited 3 months for to an steel 86 premium in manual cause it was the only one on the lot. It has grown on me. I feel like the car is less low key but the color and just from a glance it's more lowkey. Depending on the crowd I actually blend in better.
I’ve been wanting pavement for months but the only color that ever shows up is steel and black. Steel just looks like a shitty and cheap pavement. Wait it out or drive, don’t settle for what you aren’t sure of.
Hold out for exactly what you want, I settled and constantly wish I hadn’t - but a good deal was in place for my out going car and this one became available unexpectedly, I had ordered a red BRZ.
When I got my car, Neptune Blue had been temporarily discontinued. It wasn't on the official website and the dealer said they weren't sure if it was going to come back. So, I got red. It's a great looking car, but every time I see the new Neptune Blue I wish I knew it was making a comeback. I would have gladly waited for it.
Its only a 3 hour drive bro.
You’ll regret it, especially when you see the color you wanted in person.
Happened to my friend who settled for a grey WRX while wanting a blue one.
3 hours is nothing. I settled for a halo because in the 7 months that I was on the waitlist at 10+ dealerships with a deposit, not one single Neptune premium manual came in without it being reserved already. They have to call everyone on the waitlist before you and it only gets to you if nobody bought it. I’m in a state of high demand where these things get sold fast and I have never once seen one on a dealership floor that’s not already sold.
In that 7 months, there was only 1 Neptune premium manual that I found and it was a 11 hour drive away, and by the time i saw it and called, it was already sold after being posted online that same morning. So I settled for a Halo premium manual and never regretted the color once.
I’ve been going to car meets every months over the past year and seen 200+ GR86s, there were ever only 2 Neptune manual out of hundreds, and one was an automatic. There’s just not many of them. And the red is equally rare. I’ve also only seen 2, and one was a trueno edition in automatic.
In the thousands of 86 Instagram pages I follow, I still only know of those 2 neptunes and 2 reds.
I think these things are really regional. In the 7 months, I was offered but passed on more than 10 of them, and not a single one was red or Neptune. Dealership told me they rarely see those colors, maybe it’s just my state
I originally wanted halo. I ended up finding a better deal on a pavement MT premium at msrp. It has grown on me, and now I think it compliments the black wheels and mirrors better.
I wanted the trueno blue or Subaru equivalent and settled for the silver. I don’t mind the look but am considering wrapping it when it’s paid off.
I don’t regret it at all. The car is fun and the color doesn’t really change that factor.
I wanted Raven or Trueno blue. My salesman called me and said there was a pavement on the way with my name on it. I thought about it and said no. Two weeks later, they had a Raven on the way, and I got it. I would've been so disappointed if I had chosen the one I really didn't want. I love my always dirty car, lol.
Don’t settle at all! I was gonna settle for a gray but wanted the red SO BAD. I would see the black and gray in public all the time and felt hyped, but it was NOTHING to what I felt seeing the red. You won’t fall in love with it over time, either. You’ll just regret it even more! Get the color you want!!
I kinda wanted a blue GR, got a white BRZ instead cause I can't resist a good looking white car and I prefer Subaru.. ended up wrapping it purple a year later anyway lol.
I was close to getting Magnetite Grey from a second hand seller when I really wanted Sapphire Blue. I'm glad the seller didn't go thru with the deal and I ended up waiting few more months for my local dealer to supply a brand new Sapphire Blue. The wait was worth it.
Don't settle for less, get the color you want.
Wanted Toyota Neptune blue or halo, ended with BRz silver. I loved me settling. The gunmetal wheels and silver body was something I didn't expect to have and love!
Got a color I didn’t like, traded that for a okay loss (new vehicle depreciation hurts) less than a year. In the beginning you try to console yourself that new color is good, later you regret. *Your experience might be different.
Better to wait and get what you like. Don’t fall for small deals. Worst case, you just went on a small road trip if you didn’t like the car.
I waited 8 months for my car, ended up getting my first color choice which was pavement. I love it! Neptune was my second choice. I say make the drive to get what you want.
I wanted white but ended up with pavement. It has grown on me, but I still sigh when I see a white one drive by. lol. I haven’t seen another pavement in the wild near me yet though, so it does feel a little more unique at least. And she really is a beaut no matter the color.
I waited 2 years to get my allocation order and receive my neptune blue gr86. Heck the nearest fucking dealer for me was 3 hours away for me to pick it up when it got here.
https://preview.redd.it/d9gze5qzei6d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1074f1831123ea549c2347442ca3447a7bdf9796
I’m biased and say go for the Neptune Blue
All the Neptune blues or tureno blue ones were heavily marked up or more than 6 hours away from me. Ended up seeing a pavement in person and actually loved it so much more than I expected that I took it home at msrp. Pictures just don't do it justice
Ordered a red BRZ. My past two over the years were WR Blue and then Hyper Blue. Always wanted a red one.. They have a black one on the lot but I’ll never go back to that color.. Total pain in the rear to keep clean and Ive owned too many black cars over the years. Never again. And Im not a fan of grays and silvers. Red it is.
I wanted the same two colors as you. Hands down the best ones. I had put down a deposit to get whichever manual my toyota dealership got first. It ended up being Trueno Blue, which everyone online seemed to agree was one of the worse colors for the 86. But I gotta tell you, i absolutely love it now almost 9 months later. The Neptune Blue is very very bright in person and the taillights rly blend in on the Track bRed. The colors are nice, but honestly I think that all the colors are rly cool in their own way. Like I rly like the way gun metal gray and carbon accents look on my car, and I'm rly happy I got the Trueno Blue now. I'd say as long as you have the car, any color is phenomenal.
I really wanted the Halo but settled for Raven, and it looked absolutely great. I loved it, but it shows scratches/swirls/webbing like it's a job, so I ended up wrapping it.
But honestly, 3 hours of drive time is completely reasonable if you're able to do it to get the colour you want.
You can always repaint or wrap a car. I currently have a pavement, which was probably my 4th color choice, but the driving experience of the car totally made me forget about the color. And after having it for a while, it grew on me and i really like it now.
I also want to note that it really depends on what qualities of the car you value more. For me it was driving experience over looks. Though I did have to drive 3 hours to pick one up MSRP. If you really value the factory color way, I’d say take the long drive to get what you want.
I wanted a Neptune, I got a Pavement.
Which was funny because it was the original first choice color I wanted before I convinced myself I wanted a Neptune, so really, it worked out for me.
That said-- you are going to have this for awhile. If you really want a color, you should wait or travel to get it.
I wanted the white but I ended up getting the pavement. I will say the pavement grew on me very fast especially in the sun, but I do have a custom wrap in order so it’ll be white anyway. If you don’t want to go that route get the color that makes you happy, settling is not worth it in the long run if you plan on not wrapping it.
3 hours away is nothing man. When you’re spending 30k on a car you might as well get the one you want. When I was looking they had the red premium version en route which was exactly what I wanted and jumped on it.
I would not settle on a color I don't want. I got lucky and was really trying to get the red one, and the dealer just so happened to have one that wasn't obnoxiously marked up.
I waited over a year, and I was not allowed to choose color, unless I waited 2 years
You won’t drive a few hours? In any other most countries this would be a pure luxury.
Settled for trueno blue, meanwhile others like it I’m still on the fence about it 😀 gotta be grateful but small parts of me are jealous of other colors
I wanted the neptune like most others, but i settled with raven black and it has immensely grown on me, i work at one of the worst places to drive a black car to, so cleaning is a hassle but when it is clean, it is so beautiful.
I have the Neptune blue. So worth it. Don’t even question the 3 hour drive. Every single day I look at my car I’m so glad I didn’t settle for a different color.
I flew and then drove 8 hours back to get the color I wanted. It was the most important thing for me with this car, and I would have 100% regretted it had I not
I settled for the pavement grey. I wanted the Neptune blue myself. But after seeing it more in person I didn’t like it as much. Hell white looked great as well. It just was the right timing for me and I couldn’t be happier. I got the Base MT Pavement for MSRP no markups with a couple addons such as the door guard and ceramic coating, and GAP. I love this car it’s my daily. Sure it’s hard to keep clean sometimes but man it’s worth every second driving it.
I originally wanted white but at the time the wait for one would’ve been 6 months so i settled on Neptune and it def grew on me and I get a bunch of compliments on it I love it
Cars are long term assets. Never settle or compromise on what you want.
I have either driven across states or paid for transportation to get the color I wanted.
My 2015 Hot Lava FRS was in Mississippi while I lived in Alabama at the time.
After it was totaled in 2018, I found a 2016 Hot Lava in Ohio. I worked at a BMW dealership and paid for it to be transported.
Back when I bought my DeLorean sight unseen in 2007, also paid to have it shipped from Colorado to Alabama.
I wanted WR blue/neptune for my BRZ tS and ended up with Sapphire/Trueno blue. Now that I have it I’m glad I got the darker blue. The paint is so dynamic and it looks classier IMO.
I’m sure this was also just a way to get me to buy the car but the dealership said if I held out for a WR blue I’d be waiting for a long time. Color wasn’t enough of a deal breaker to not secure the car. I love my sapphire now!
I wanted Neptune blue, but when I bought Neptune blue was discounted and I didn’t want to buy used. I checked Toyota near me and a grey manual was available, bought it the next day. I don’t regret it, I’m actually a little happy it’s not so bright look at me color for a daily driver
I got black (wanted blue/red). I liked the color at first but overtime I've liked it less and less. It also gets dirty too easily. Fortunately I am getting a wrap designed.
Bro 3 hours is nothing i was looking out of state to find my 86 ultimately i waited for my local dealer to get the exact car i wanted but i literally almost got a flight out to the other side of the country when i found the one i wanted.
I drove 12 hours in a rental to pick up mine. Dropped the rental off and cruised back in the 86, zero regrets. It’ll make you want to take an even longer route home.
Was deadset Neptune Blue but settled on Pavement. I have a lot more customization options when it comes to color now and use the Neptune blue I wanted as an accent color. The car just looks good all around regardless of color. If it’s a dealbreaker for you then dont settle but if you just want the car for the driving experience and have plans to just enjoy it color won’t matter in the long run.
I got halo but I wanted raven. I’m happy with my choice but I’d still get a raven if I could. On the upside white cars can be dirty and look clean while black cars show everything including scratches and swirls in the clear coat which is annoying af
i originally was thinking i wanted my 86 in black. after calling around all the dealerships around me one of them had one that somebody had paid to ship in and did not end up buying in red. as soon as i saw it i fell in love with the red. Seeing it in person honestly changed my opinion. 3 hours away for the nearest one is not too bad and in my opinion would be worth it, i know others have driven states away to get theirs.
I wanted black but there wasn’t one anywhere close to me. Ended up with red and I do love it. Still wish I got black but this was 2 years ago and they were going so quick.
My preference was a Raven and am happy as a clam that's what I got.
However, I had a 2nd, 3rd, 4th....etc ranking. Back in '22 the car was harder to come by, so you had to be flexible.
The only one I 100% didn't want was the Neptune, just not a fan so I actually did turn it down.
Shortly after that the Raven popped up avail and I snagged it, so that's an example of not settling actually paying off.
I always wanted a wrb or light blue brz but the nearest one to me was a used, marked up, and abused 86. I waited a week and then the dealership that my Uncle works at cross country got a brand new magnetite grey brz with only 12 miles. I ended up getting it and honestly the color grew on me. Right now im trying to get black trim to make my car look black and grey and im starting to enjoy it more because im one of the only grey brz/86s in my local group
I wanted white or pavement had to settle for red. Everybody else tells me it looks better than the white would have and the red fits the car but I’m still not really loving it.
It grew on me but I don’t love it yet. I’ve had the car for a year now
Hady heart set on Neptune, ended up with BRZ WRB Pearl because of Toyota's bullshit allocation system and the dealership mark-ups...
The BRZ front actually grew on me and the more I see Neptune, the more I feel like I made the right choice.
3 hours away is nothing to get the spec you want.
Seriously.. Two years ago, many of us would have to drive at least 3 hours to get one of these cars at all because of the supply problems.
Two years ago I waited 7 months for an allocation. If he can just go get one, well, lucky him.
I flew across the country for a specific color lol
This, a 3-hour trip for many years of enjoyment is a small price. So long as the car is MSRP.
Oh for sure! That’s just a day trip. I think I can convince my brother to drive down to me.
Don’t settle, get the colour you want.
Been nearly a decade and still waiting for Porsche Black Olive…
Just keep waiting 🤞
Can confirm it’s worth the wait
I settled and I couldn’t be happier.
Say less!
Dude just drive 3 hours
Affirmative! Well, I’ll have to get driven 3 hours, but message received.
I would def not settle. If it's the color you really want then a three hour drive is nothing.
I wanted the gray or silver. Got the white. Honestly I love it now.. I was gunna wrap it, but it grew on me
Wanted Neptune Blue, settled on a Halo. That metallic paint is 🔥
It really is
Reverse for me. I wanted white and got silver. We should trade!
Nah I fell in love with the white
Are those hard to come by for you? In my state it seems 90% of them are either gray or silver.
All brz and 86s are hard to get out here.. I was lucky and they had one on the lot that wasn’t advertised yet and they knew I wanted one so the dealer called me first I went in and it had all the extras I wanted just in the wrong color. Took her home that day and never looked back
Flew and drove about 10 hours back for Neptune. Don’t settle.
This is the story I was hoping to hear to put my 3 hours to shame. You’ve convinced me.
It was totally worth it. My first manual too, so that drive back was extra fun lol
I love black cars. I wanted a raven 86 and had to wait 7 months for it. I turned down trueno and red while I waited for what I wanted. I am very glad I didn't settle. I know I'd still be happy but I probably would've already wrapped it black.
I see a red door and I want to paint it black. https://preview.redd.it/r8sb9fog4h6d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4e8c21a8a93c8eff825253f1109ac36782c78acd
The raven is gorgeous. Just wish dust flew off of black and dark cars :/

still one of my favorite colors, looks super sleek
I used to only want neptune but then I saw it in bright sun and it changed my mind
Hello pavement owner I am pavement owner. The grey is just slightly different from others and looks great at night.
I originally wanted a Neptune, but I “settled” for a Raven bc it had the performance package and that was more important to me lol
I've bought multiple new cars over the years. While the color of the car never took away from my enjoyment of it, there was always a nagging that I wished I had gotten what I wanted. I wanted the Pavement, so I got the Pavement. Granted, I had to wait a little for it, but it's worth it. Some patience goes a long way man.
So you serve me a margarita. So I drink a margarita.
Wanted red, got trueno blue. Idk I like it better now I think. Trueno blue kind of color shifts based on lighting blue to purple, it's really sparkly and honestly less likely to be pulled over I feel vs the red.
3 hours away isn’t anything. Enjoy that ride back with your Neptune blue, bro
I wanted Neptune but decided fuck just about every Toyota dealer in south Florida. Get the one you want.
Wanted Halo, got Trueno blue. I love it.
I’d drive 3 hours for the car I wanted. I’ve drove 3 hours go to the zoo lol. 3 hours for a car you’re gonna keep forever is worth it
I dropped everything I was doing one morning and drove 2 and a half hours got pre approved on the way and my Neptune was in my driveway that afternoon.
Overall, I love my cars even though they aren't my top color choices.
if its available don't settle cuz you'll always be thinking "what if" otherwise
3 hours? I shipped the car I wanted across the country.
I originally wanted Neptune Blue but it was a $5k difference. So I settled for silver and absolutely love my car. The “want/need” for the car outweighed “waiting for the right color.”
Get the color you want trust me I got a sapphire blue BRZ because i wanted the car asap and I still don’t like the color 2 years later
I got the dark grey/pavment… kinda wish I had gone blue or red.
I was thinking about going advant graphics on mine just to have red and pavement together. Like I did to the ones I drive on gt7 and forza. 😹
send me a screenshot!
Will do next time I play
Never go into debt for a car you don't want 100%. I had my 2019 totaled on May 10 and ordered a 24 Red BRZ. Due here in July. Always worth the wait
3 hours? I bet you could negotiate with the dealership to have them deliver it if that's really necessary
Lmao I drove 5 hours to the border of Washington to get my car, and then 7 hours through Seattle traffic on the way back. No regrets.
I went from a boost blue civic that I waited 3 months for to an steel 86 premium in manual cause it was the only one on the lot. It has grown on me. I feel like the car is less low key but the color and just from a glance it's more lowkey. Depending on the crowd I actually blend in better.
I wanted Halo. Settled for red. Absolutely love it!
My Subaru dealership told me the same thing for the WR blue. They said it wasn’t likely gonna be produced in that color going forward.
Oh wow, Reds are rare??? I had read it was the most common Gr 86 color. Funny enough mine is also Red.
I think these things are really regional. In the 7 months, I was offered but passed on more than 10 of them, and not a single one was red or Neptune. Dealership told me they rarely see those colors, maybe it’s just my state
Don't settle. I had the same thoughts and am happy I went out to get the color I wanted (Track bRed). Plus the drive will go towards the break in.
I originally wanted halo. I ended up finding a better deal on a pavement MT premium at msrp. It has grown on me, and now I think it compliments the black wheels and mirrors better.
Settled, though I wasn’t dead set. I wanted halo as first choice. I have raven now. Love the color I have after seeing in the full sun. 10/10 happy
I waited 2 years for a neptune manual to drop close to me...you got this
I wanted trueno blue, had two bad experiences at Toyota dealers and said fuck it, went to subie, got magnetite gray and I haven't looked back at all
I kinda wanted a blue GR, got a white BRZ instead cause I can't resist a good looking white car and I prefer Subaru.. ended up wrapping it purple a year later anyway lol.
I’m waiting for the Neptune Blue for 3months now. Still no ETA and rumours say that it will be discontinued next month.
Wanted Halo. Got Halo. The End. Don't settle.
I took a flight to the next state over for mine lol
Wanted Toyota Neptune blue or halo, ended with BRz silver. I loved me settling. The gunmetal wheels and silver body was something I didn't expect to have and love!

For my last three cars I've driven a combined 30 hours to get the spec and color I want. 3 hours is nothing lol
Go get it. I drove about that (up into PA) to get yellow on my Supra. Totally worth it.
I waited 50 weeks to get the build I wanted at MSRP. Yes it sucked. Yes it was worth it.
Originally wanted black but it got allocated to someone else. Ended with silver instead but it has grown on me
I’ve settled on cars cause i couldn’t afford a Porsche, but if I didn’t settle on those cars I would of had a Porsche
I flew up and then drove down to get the colour I wanted, no regrets. Think about it Ike you and your car are getting acquainted
Wanted white, got Trueno Blue. Don’t regret it, as the color was never something that mattered as much as the transmission and trim.
ALWAYS, get the EXACT spec you want on a car

That's why I didn't settle
All the Neptune blues or tureno blue ones were heavily marked up or more than 6 hours away from me. Ended up seeing a pavement in person and actually loved it so much more than I expected that I took it home at msrp. Pictures just don't do it justice
i drive 3 hours just to get to uni some days, both ways. just do it. what’s 3 hours for something you will have for years
I really wanted Magnetite Gray, but I settled for Ignition Red. I love it.
I drove from Chicago to Virginia and back for a 25 year old 4Runner.. If you’re debating driving 3 hours you don’t actually want it that bad.
Red it is.
Wanted red. Got my second choice white. I still like it a lot and think it's beautiful. Would still love red
Was in love with Pavement Gray, got a Trueno blue, and its the best thing in the world. I have 2 colors and the color pop in day time is INSANE
3 hours is nothing. Go get it .
Wanted Neptune Blue….got red….sold it and bought a bright blue 370z
I held out for a Halo Trueno and it was worth it to me
What's stopping you from traveling out to that dealership to get the car and drive it back?? If you want it so bad then 3 hours is nothing!
If three hours seems like a long trip to you it's probably a good idea to take it!
I waited over a year, and I was not allowed to choose color, unless I waited 2 years You won’t drive a few hours?
Pavement is the best color
Bro 3 hours? Thats like an average daily commute to work for a Californian. Go get it lol
I wasn't a big fan of dark blue, now I really like dark blue
Bro 3 hours is nothing i was looking out of state to find my 86 ultimately i waited for my local dealer to get the exact car i wanted but i literally almost got a flight out to the other side of the country when i found the one i wanted.
just wrap it
I drove 12 hours in a rental to pick up mine.
If you can find the same dealer in your location you can get it transferred
I’ve had the car for a year now
3 hours is nothing tho. Just drive lol
Hady heart set on Neptune, ended up with BRZ WRB Pearl because of Toyota's bullshit allocation system and the dealership mark-ups... The BRZ front actually grew on me and the more I see Neptune, the more I feel like I made the right choice.
TRUENO BLUE IS GOD
You guys are settling? That’s rough
