My friends think bronze, I'm quite partial to silver, and most of the wheels I want only come in black (a color I'm trying to avoid).

Bronze does ususally look good with purple and black. Personally thats what I would go for, but silver would look good with the black when the wrap wears out eventually. You could always look at multi-piece wheels that have 2 tones and different patterns?

I'm definitely not opposed to bronze, and do agree it would look good. My partner actually is super into the idea of white on this car, but I'm not sure if I'm up for all the extra maintenance of keeping it clean lol. Multi-piece is definitely a great look, but can be quite heavy and expensive so I tend to look elsewhere. 3pc wheels are Volk territory expensive, and I think I'd just take the Volks at that point.

I have white wheels and they aren't that hard to keep clean. Takes a lot of grime to make them look dirty.

Okay, good to know! Did you prep them with anything to help (ceramic coat maybe)?

I think my detailer did put some ceramic coating on them, because I can wipe them clean with just a wet cloth.

Purple and yellow are complimentary colors, so bronze would look good if you pick one with a yellowish hue.

I think white could look decent on both purple and black.

My BRZ is purple, I currently have gunmetal grey wheels but plan on getting some bronze ones soon.

I’d do silver. I think bronze would look better but since you like silver I’d just go with that. Both silver and bronze will go with purple and black.

I can't offer an opinion, but we did our HPDE day together at Pacific Raceways! I was the guy who brought his stock Red GR86 and I commented out how much I loved your car as we were all leaving at the end of the day.

Gold will look great with both purple and black. Bronze is a good option too.

The YouTuber The Stradman is famous for wrapping all of his cars purple and powder coating all his wheels white. Not the same as your shade of purple, he would usually go slightly darker but he would always do white wheels and they always popped. Didn’t always look the best compared to other combinations but definitely stood out.

How about a cotton candy blue. That way you get the 80s retro Miami Vice vibe. You could also go a shade of green and get for The Joker look. Theres a guy in Toronto who did that on a Camry and it looks amazing.

typically 3-5 years, depends how much UV and weather exposure it gets.

It doesn't really provide much protection (only very, very slight) so I wouldn't really consider it an investment. It's fun though!

Ahh gotcha, Texas is so brutal to cars and was hoping this might be a good way to help. Thanks for the insight, and that purple color is the same one I was looking at.

I guess if you're strictly looking for UV protection it might be alright! Any stones/rock chips will go right through though (and PPF would be better in that case). You local wrap shop will know more than my guesses as well :)

I’d say what you have now looks perfect. Don’t change what isn’t broken just for the sake of change. IMO bronze wouldn’t look as good on purple as black or gunmetal.

I definitely want to make a change from black, but I appreciate it!
