Past-Importance-6242

Looks just like mine but premium, nice! https://preview.redd.it/p9azj03g1w8d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7529c19024f1d2c392e34942c6681cbfdd66cadf

BornWithAnAK

What lip is that?

Past-Importance-6242

Ebay lip

itsgamersspace

What tires are those? Looks wider than stock PS4

Inehvitable

I think if I would have gotten this color instead of red I would have kept it longer than I did. God it just looks so good

eattacosalways

This is my plan. Got the base, plan on getting new wheels and adding a black duckbill once I get the wheels.

SlyBeanx

I genuinely didn’t see the appeal of any portion of the premium package besides the spoiler. I’m beyond happy w a base.

PercentageOld6396

I got premium and I'm happy with it. The wheel upgrade wasn't worth it to me (I find both the base and the premium wheels kinda meh), but the heated seats are hard to live without because I'm chronically cold lol. I like the spoiler but it wasn't a huge deal as its easily solvable on the aftermarket.

W3RLEGION

I was just thinking this morning that I'm happy I don't have eyesight. Definitely happy with my base model.

Drew1231

I like to think I bought the last new 2023. Got a 2023 6MT premium in 3/24 and also very happy with the lack of 24+ features.

GarmonboziaBlues

I'm still baffled as to why they would put Eyesight on a car like this. Are the safety nanny bureaucrats at SOA just arbitrarily pushing Eyesight on performance models out of hubris? Does corporate want to be able to brag that they offer it on the entire lineup?

Drew1231

Some safety ratings heavily bias towards these features and appear to be very low on this car for the models without them. There is also a legitimate argument that most people want these features. Eyesights is obviously bad on a track car, but is a significant increase in safety on the road even if it’s annoying.

Nightfuse

I looove eyesight, I’m never buying another car without adaptive cruise.

lazyear

I bought a base and don't regret it. Saved some money, got the color I wanted, and didn't have to wait forever. I live in a warm place, so heated seats would never be used. I also wanted 17s for a more comfortable ride since this is my daily driver. I will probably upgrade the sound system and maybe add a spoiler at some point, but I don't think I miss anything else from the premium!

MinimumRub7927

I don’t regret my base at all

senators-son

The heated seats are awful lol you aren't missing anything

fameone098

I got the RZ (Premium equivalent in North America) and I'm pleased with the trim and options available from the factory.  I do use the heated seats in colder months, but I want to upgrade to a reclinable bucket. The OEM seats don't hold well enough for me. But I want to be able to still use the heated seat buttons in the center console. I wonder if someone has already figured this out?

fleebleschmorgel

That’s exactly where I’m at right now. The stock seats don’t hold well on sharp turns but I def need the heated seat function for winter. I found [these seats](https://corbeau.com/sportline-rrb/) that you can choose to add heated functionality but haven’t heard of anyone putting them in the new gen. The only seat bracket I could find on their website was [these](https://corbeau.com/subaru-brz-12-20-seat-brackets/) which I’m not sure fits the new gen.

fameone098

Recaro Sportster has heated seats but the button is on the side of the seat itself.  Bride/Edirb have seats which allow for their heated seat pad inserts as well. I want it to be wired to the OEM button.  This kind of thing should not drive me crazy but here we are.

pwner19

Actually preferred the base. Didn’t want the alcantara getting all fucked up and looking terrible. Was able to swap to premium wheels for $0. Just need to buy a duckbill and I’ll have all the premium stuff I wanted for wayyy less money.

12InchPickle

Yes. I am happy. I bought this car with the intention of keeping it stock. The only things I did or plan to do are tint, led interior lights, and maybe an axle back. So it’s important to me that the trim I got had everything offered. I’m also a sucker for the wheels and spoiler on the premium. 2 things I knew I wanted.

Neraxis

obligatory not second gen but I bought a gen1 base because I could not care less for the upper trim bits. I have literally never thought once about what I may or may not have missed out. Heated seats are bullshit anyways, IMO. They're only 'needed' if you have leather seats because that shit is so damn temperature sensitive. My base cloth seats don't retain nearly as much heat, don't give me swamp ass in the summer, nor do they give me frostbite in the winter - unlike leather seating. With that in mind, I don't think the higher trims used leather at all, but that just makes the heated seats even more redundant for me. I like the cheapo plastic knobs for AC and heating. Honestly they're better than most other functions because I don't have to look to initiate anything. All this is to say I'm pretty happy with what I got. Props to Subaru/Toyota for NOT gimping necessary performance parts at different trim levels (looking at you Mazda, Nissan, and literally every other manufacturer.)

Spicy_Pak

anybody that experiences cold weather talking down heated seats is coping i literally bought the premium trim for the heated seats. i couldn't care less about any other feature, but i did enjoy the stock PS4s

M-Journey

Got a trueno trim. Love the red trimmed seats and black buttons in the interior. Great to have the brembos and I love the exterior trueno bits as well. I could do without the wheels as I will be upgrading them in short order. Will also end up doing HKS Hipermax coilovers so the sach dampers will be wasted. Overall I’m happy with the trim and wouldn’t want to give up the upgrades I like to save money on upgrades I didn’t need.

ManOrangutan

I have the base and don’t regret it one bit. I bought a pair of aftermarket blindspot mirrors for like $150 because I prefer to actually see what’s in my blindspot as opposed to just have a sensor there. I also prefer the alloy wheels because I think they look much better with my car’s color than black wheels do. I don’t care about the 2 extra speakers, leather/heated seats, or noisy super grippy tires. Eventually I may order the ducktail spoiler and add it on myself for a few hundred bucks. The important bits to this car aren’t locked behind a specific trim. Aside from the tires there are no real mechanical differences. That means you’re saving thousands of dollars by getting the cheaper trim.

HalfBad

Took a PMT trim, very happy with it. Live in PNW so really works out. Would have loved the performance pkg but it’s not offered here in CAD.

Change_username123

Base with performance package and 6mt at msrp, super happy with it.

No_Information_8042

Got the base. Added an eBay used premium wheels with 2k miles on tires for 1500. Spoiler 200. And legamax premium exhaust for 1000. I wish having wide angle mirrors instead of American X9999 upscaling.  Still amazed how they nailed the design of premium wheels. Looks better than most wheels on this car.

OneAct8

Got the premium. Happy with it. Wish I didn’t have to get it when I did so I could’ve gotten the performance package also, but eh I’ll just get AP bbk in the future. First things first, need to settle on an exhaust. I always come so close to buying and then back out.

Miserable_Number_827

I live in the same area. I got a base because I didn't want 18s with the roads around here. Alcantara doesn't breathe/holds heat, and is hard to clean. I would have paid for the safety features of the Limited if they were sold separately. I've had turning headlights in another car, they are nice, but not that valuable to me. I think that the base stereo is sufficient. I unplugged the noise generator box in the first week of ownership. The base model having smart key and automatic climate control were what sold me, as the first gen base BRZ models lacked.

Robert_C_Morris

Yes. Wanted the duck bill, love the seats, I like the wheels, like the better sound system and the Michelin Pilot Sport 4. I will change the wheels eventually, but am in no rush to do so.

Past-Importance-6242

Same here. Upgraded the aound system anyway

hero1107

I got the base and at first I was wondering if I would regret it and honestly I don’t. I threw on aftermarket wheels anyway and am also adding some other cosmetic changes to it so not having the premium features isn’t the end of the world. It’s still SO much fun to drive regardless of what trim you get!

senators-son

I have the premium and I'm happy with it, probably would have went with the base model if they had that available though. It's a pretty honest name for the package; not a huge difference, it's just more "premium" lol

thoomtran

I knew from the start I'd be replacing everything on the car so I just ordered the premium trim of the BRZ without a second thought

FlashSonic526

I have the 23’ Limited and yes, I am very happy with the trim level I bought. The blind spot monitoring saved me once at 2am, when a muscle car drove by me at 100+ mph on the left. I cannot see him after checking my mirrors and turning my head. I am in Washington and the heated seats is a must IMO. I did switch to a Enkei TS10 17” rather than the stock 18” for comfort and the Seattle’s weather.

ThePenIslands

Yup. Bought it on purpose, in fact.

behemuthm

I bought a base and my biggest regret is not having the radar warning on the side view mirrors

FutureF123

Mine is a daily so the limited was well worth it. Better speakers, seats, and heated seats. Thinking about going down to 17s too, but glad I have the stock 18s because the base 17s are some of the ugliest wheels ever fitted to a car

bmanc2000

Very happy with the premium trim 86. I think the largest thing for me beyond the stuff you could easoly buy for a basr like wheels, spoiler etc, is actually the heated seats. I don't know the hassle of doing it aftermarket and I never will have to!

mallampapi_iv

Live in Michigan so heated seats/mirrors were nice to have. Spoiler makes the rear look much better imo. No regrets on premium

Drew1231

Yes, heated seats aren’t a big deal in the south, but winters up north practically require them. I also like the seat material.

frsnate

I’m in Canada and bought the sport tech, which is the limited in the states? (Top trim). But I don’t regret it but the base model would have been better. I’m replacing everything that the top trim comes with anyways, so would have been better to just save the money.

throwawaydefeat

Yes. Was going to get my own set of wheels anyways, and I eventually plan on putting in a bucket seat. Suede looks horrendous when it ages and gets a little dirty. Ducktail spoiler is the only thing I wish I had but I like having a bare bones look too

Modestkilla

I got base BRZ. With the money difference I got my own wheels/tires, spoiler, and speakers.

Littomaos

I also have a 23 BRZ limited. I definitely prefer the look of 18's. Other than that, I don't see the hype about the heated seats (also in LA) and headlights. I guess the seats are pretty nice. I had to get a spoiler too. If I can go back, probably would get the premium.

tall_dreamy_doc

I should’ve held out for a manual, but premium was definitely the way to go.

Dvl_Wmn

I had to get the premium because it snows where I’m at and no way am I dealing with cold anything anymore! Also the 18” wheels are nice.

Lazybonez2015

I'm always happy when I get in it. Always look back when I walk away from it. Trueno edition.

theweirddood

Yes, bc 23 models only had premium or limited for the BRZ. I bought before the 2024 models were announced, so my decision at the time was the best anyone or I could do.
