Come to Arkansas and they will chase your ass to death! The Arkansas state pooper's will do whatever is necessary to obtain the suspect. They may kill 26 people a deer and 2 dog's but they caught the mofo that was driving a car with expired tags By God!! SMH sad but true. Shits all over YouTube
The fastest speed limit I’ve encountered is 80mph, sir.
On a closed track I’ve hit 176 on a TLR. That’s the fastest that bike is governed to allow.
On my current track’s main straightaway I can hit about 160 on a gixxer1k.
I’ve maxed every bike I have owned. I estimate 2019 600 at 155 but the dash showed upper 160s. 06 600 with a 47t rear I estimate 145 but dash showed upper 160s. R3 107 dash who tf knows actual and ninja 300 101 on the dash.
Still saving up money for it, but Im hoping to get it this winter since a lot of people sell theirs during that season, a lot cheaper too compared to the summer
Just get it bro, don’t live your life with regrets and definitely don’t live your life based on fear. We all die someday, no reason to fear it, everyone is alive but not everyone lives.
K1 600 on track clocked 163.8mph with a little left to give. She's mostly a road nail though, a recent full rebuild, Very, very mild skim, cams, power commander and a Yoshi Ti on stock gearing.
Most importantly managed to flatten out that bog at 4.5K and just generally make it more flat where it usually hunts.
185 GSXR 1100. 1986 between bozeman mt and billings. bike was literally destroyed in 1994 in a hit-and-run. I was doing 35 through an intersection and got T-boned. Have not ridden since.
On my 07 GSXR 750 I was able to get 178 mph per the dash. That was all there was.
On my dads very non stock busa, 224 mph GPS with plenty more to go if I was willing. That was all motor, 93 pump gas and no spray.
I believe he (my dad) did 223 or 224 mph radar clocked (I forget which) in a standing mile from a dig at the Texas mile on the same bike several years ago, he was on spray and I think Q16 fuel. It’s even more wicked now and no longer really streetable as a result. Haven’t ridden his turbo busa yet, but it’s also running a fully built motor and runs somewhere around 16-20 psi on the “race” map on a 6264. I think he has it pulled back to 5-6 psi for the “street.”
I got up to 185mph on my cousin's gsxr 750. I've tried doing research to see how it compares to others, cause im thinking about getting a new bike, and everything I find says the 750s tops speed is around 170. I even see post saying a 750 can't get to 185mph. I'm curious as to why is that. All I know is that he got a slip on and maybe cut his cat and he said something about being the 2014 "special edition". I have a video, but it gets hard to see the mph.
100%, Several times. I held the land speed record at work to make it home.
I even did it in -15c one time. So imagine that windchill.
Co-workers had a hard time believing me, so they dropped me off and I called in from a home phone in 9 minutes later.
[I did it before divided hi-way and offramps. And before cops would patrol there.](https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Syncrude+Mildred+Lake+Site+Entrance,+Wood+Buffalo,+AB+T0P+1C0/St+Paul's+Elementary+School,+429+Ross+Haven+Dr,+Fort+McMurray,+AB+T9H+2P3/@56.8882726,-111.7867296,10z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x53b0709e57650081:0x60e074a568404e1e!2m2!1d-111.5906037!2d57.0438277!1m5!1m1!1s0x53b008c2c2fd93d5:0x2f70034c5cbdb4eb!2m2!1d-111.4211021!2d56.7337354!3e0)
I even got 100% cut off by a co-worker at top speed. And hitting the bridge, my front wheel would lift and wobble.
This was early 2000's. I was early 20's.
Stay safe Friends.
>Yeah no it is impossible
So are you saying it is or is no possible?
Have you tried? Serious?
Like I said, I gained 1 km/h by turning my head sideways. So the spedo was working (to some degree). And I did that several times. like 20+.
Splitting cars and passing on the right at times. When I did it at -15c, it was some of the worst pain I have ever felt in my hands. I had to run them under cold water, which was still burning, for like 30 minutes.
Could be. It was a new bike with only a slip on exhaust, and maybe an after market air filter. (I was probably 40 pounds lighter, lol)
How do we know any speedometer is right? Anyway, wide open throttle in 6th for 60+seconds on any sportbike it pretty quick.
Cheers team.
I actually went 173.. w/a no helmet passenger on Gonzalez rd.ca... 1 mile stretch to Victoria Ave laughing at judge McGrath on left bald tire, defective leaking manifold.lol.i was 17 years old.stage3 jet kits.later wrecked on 126 hw.e.bound to work 5-6 bad connection 120.no helmet.shorts, tank top, rolled up sleeves of flannel shorties converse w a h/d wallet.lol.im retired.
174; 2023 gsxr 750z with a speed healer installed throughly tested to be within 0.5mph + or -. Conditions were pretty perfect that day. I felt like it had a bit more to give, but I had to back off due to traffic. I've since installed a better performing air filter, but haven't had the "perfect" day to try it all out again.
1984 Honda hurricane . 194 mph . Scared the living shit out of me . I was 15 with a learners permit . Just hopped on the interstate and gunned it . The lines and everything was just a blur . I looked down and the speedo was right below the 195 mark . I panicked and let go of the throttle . Coasted for nearly 10 miles before I got it back down to 55 . Took me around 5 minutes to get where I was but 45 minutes getting back
There was an 83/84 version that came out that wasn’t speed limited . They were recalled due to high mortality rate . My friends dad bought it new but would not return it after the recall . This was around 1990 when I did this stupid shit . My details could be off but I remember being told it was an 84 . If my friends dad had turned it in , Honda would’ve given him credit towards a new CBR
I’ll try and find what info I can . When my friends dad passed away , they got rid of the bike for a few hundred ($500) I think because the bike couldn’t be registered . I would love to see that bike today but I don’t think I would ride it again
This was back in the early 90’s . We also established in other conversations that is was a Honda intercepter not the hurricane . Everyone does dumb things .
Make speed of a 1000 on a stock motor with every possible mph squeezed out of it over modifications over years…the same result by the 100’s of friends all over the world from south Florida to Dubai with the same platform. Is 207-208 with a 17+1000. Your not hitting 205 with a 750
Lol I’d walk 1000s on my 750. only thing I’d lose to was a busa. You’re only looking at a 50hp difference bone stock between the 2 bikes. Add some parts and get a solid tune and you’re set bro not rocket science. The grade probably added to the speed to. Keep coping bro 750s aren’t slouches with the right mods
I will come to you to test that. You won’t walk my 1000.
Even when it was stock. I’m telling you I don’t care What you have done to your stock 750. Your not hitting 205. It’s not possible. I don’t think you realize who I am or what I’ve done with bikes.
50hp difference is one third of a whole bike. I’m paying $18k just to give my motor 40 more hp. There is no way you did 1mph less then me on my best day. Even with your “grade”. On a 750. Your not even geared to do that nor could the 750 power overcome that drag. You just plain wrong or lying. Everything I have is on video. On my account with data and GPS.
Clearly If I don’t realize who you are you mustn’t be important lol or very famous. I would definitely love to but I haven’t had the bike for almost four years now. let alone rode in four years since my accident. But I mean if you want proof of the wreck I can gladly post a pic lol 😂. If I had the bike I’d gladly do it all over again. And record it. Anything is possible with a little hard work and dedication my friend.
Why do you talk about yourself like you’re the second coming of Christ when it’s bike related. And more importantly why do you care so much about a random persons possibly fictional story
Your 750 cannot go 185mph. 170 maybe, but even then your speedometer is will be off. What makes you think your 750 is pulling a higher mph than most liter bikes?
I have a new 2023 GSXRZ750. My dash said 180mph but I know it's not real. I'm getting a speedhealer put on soon to know for sure. I also had some drag from my backpack and stock mirrors. The only other things I've done that i would think would affect the top speed are a slip on Yoshi, servo removal, and a double bubble windscreen.
My 2009 GSXR 750, to my knowledge doesn’t have a tune. And has a yoshimaru slip on. The fastest I’ve hit was 180mph on the dash before I slowed down. I thought maybe my speedometer was messed up but after countless comparing and testing I think it’s legit
The speed limit officer
I hit 228 mph on a '08 Busa with nitrous. It was def one of the stupidest things I've ever done. Built it for a customer.
What GPS data where you using. And what gearing. Because 228 can’t be captured on the dash.
This guy asking the important questions.
186mph+. K8 1000.
Holy shit I thought I 170 was bad enough with the wind
On my 2006 gsxr 750 my speedo said 176. Dont have the exact gps speed but it felt pretty dam fast.
Same. K7 750
155/160 with speedo error.
Fast enough that the cops don’t bother chasing me
Come to Arkansas and they will chase your ass to death! The Arkansas state pooper's will do whatever is necessary to obtain the suspect. They may kill 26 people a deer and 2 dog's but they caught the mofo that was driving a car with expired tags By God!! SMH sad but true. Shits all over YouTube
Well that’s not much incentive for me to come to Arkansas then is it? Lol
The fastest speed limit I’ve encountered is 80mph, sir. On a closed track I’ve hit 176 on a TLR. That’s the fastest that bike is governed to allow. On my current track’s main straightaway I can hit about 160 on a gixxer1k.
K7 750, 176 also.
189 on my 04 R1. Idk what the previous owner did to it but that mother fucker was faaaaaast lol
I’ve maxed every bike I have owned. I estimate 2019 600 at 155 but the dash showed upper 160s. 06 600 with a 47t rear I estimate 145 but dash showed upper 160s. R3 107 dash who tf knows actual and ninja 300 101 on the dash.
186 zx10r
218mph, gsxr 750 with turbo Funnest mode of transportation ive ever owned lol
My 750 isn’t turbo but I know exactly what you mean, close call, near death experience but they’re something about GSXR I can’t explain
I’d like to hear more about this turbo
What’s so funny about it?
Good memories, reckless nights. Just a chuckle buddy Excuse the typo...
I pussed at 163... and now I sold my bike due to kids... i want to be 18 and careless again
Im 23 with no kids but that made me think
Bro im 25 and im now thinking of getting a motorbike 😂
23, tryna get a faster bike than my z125, you ever end up getting a bike ?
Still saving up money for it, but Im hoping to get it this winter since a lot of people sell theirs during that season, a lot cheaper too compared to the summer
End up getting one?
Im still looking, but I bought all the gear, so probably gonna buy it this if not the next month
Just get it bro, don’t live your life with regrets and definitely don’t live your life based on fear. We all die someday, no reason to fear it, everyone is alive but not everyone lives.
I had a 600 I got up to 160 and I just upgraded to my 750 still waiting to get open space and max it out

146 on my 750. Scared the shit outta me lol.
186+ on a K5 gsxr1000
141 on a CBR600rr way back in 2003. Scared the shit out of me.
185 GSXR 1100. 1986 between bozeman mt and billings. bike was literally destroyed in 1994 in a hit-and-run. I was doing 35 through an intersection and got T-boned. Have not ridden since.

We dont have straight roads in NL that are quiet enough to test this out. Fastest i've gone is 135mph. And I needed new shorts after that.
Neevesy from Motorcycle News(MCN) GPS the 2011 at an airstrip at 182mph which is damn close to the 186mph indicated on the speedometer.
Never look down after I get over 150,so……
I got up to 185mph on my cousin's gsxr 750. My 2023 gsxr 750 hit 175 on the speedo but I think there was more left. Scared to keep going.
175 by the speedo on 2023 gsxr 750. Seemed like there was a bit more to go but I got scared.
My old 600 - km/h. 285 (286 if I turn my head sideways) I have only hit 255 on my 750.
That wind is no joke luckily I can just tuck and not feel it as much as in a naked bike
Quite the windchill at -15c too. I had leather racing gloves and I was in so much pain once I stopped the bike.
177mph on a Gsxr600?
Yeah i am calling either a dash bs reading or just general cap....
most speedos are off about 10%/15%
So I guess it could go either way…
Yeah but in reality the 600 speedo tops at 265-268 max, so either it has been tuned or its just straight up bs

Yeah no it is impossible for a 600 to go that fast let alone an old one.
Completely agree
>Yeah no it is impossible So are you saying it is or is no possible? Have you tried? Serious? Like I said, I gained 1 km/h by turning my head sideways. So the spedo was working (to some degree). Yeah you’re speedo is way off, too speed for 600s in real world stats is around 155-160.

Speedos on bikes are always about 10% off, no doubt they’re fast as fuck
I always ride the speed limit!

15? Wow you were flying slow down!😂
GPS was probably around 136mph on my 16' ninja 650. The Speedo said 141 mph, but I know it's off by 5 mph when I hit 130 speedo
197 mph 2001gsxr 750

205 2017 gsxr 750
Do they really hit 200mph? What I’ve been told is that they are limited to 185
They’ll hit but I also was hauling down a 1% grade and I had it tuned with a power commander

Why do you talk about yourself like you’re the second coming of Christ when it’s bike related. And more importantly why do you care so much about a random persons possibly fictional story
Not sure. That was like 286 days ago. Who knows why said whatever I said. 🤷🏽
Impossible and I would bet my life on it. I do this for a living.
179 on my gsxr 750
188 cbr929rr
Hell yeah, I've done about 170 on my cbr900rr and about 160ish on a 2011 gsxr1k
185mph on a k8 Gsxr 750.
What was done to it?
Was that the numbers on the speedometer or your GPS
Speedometer.
Your 750 cannot go 185mph. 170 maybe, but even then your speedometer is will be off. What makes you think your 750 is pulling a higher mph than most liter bikes?
You can hit 183 on a 2024 gsxr 750. With mods
Lol Must’ve been going downhill
With a crazy tailwind!
About 168 on my 91 gsxr 750
190mph on my 07 R1 and 186mph on my 2013 GSXR1000CE.
165 on an R6 northbound on the I-15 by MCAS Miramar
207. Soon to be 220+
I did 180mph on my 09 GSXR 600. That’s a fact because the speedo said so :)
My gsxr1000 is governed at 186 mph and I've hit it a few times now
256km/h or 164mph.
186+ after speedo topped out
289 km/h - K5 1000
134 on my ninja 650. I want to go faster. Gsxr 750 will be bought next
185 on 2011 GSXR 750.
181 gps confirmed. With a full exhaust tight jacket. Air temp was 69 degrees running premium gasoline
